Yeah that was just an example. I was referring more to me saying Sakurai will use this week to show us things we will be seeing at E3.I wouldn't be surprised if the stage builder tool doesn't come back at all.

What's silly about the Alfonzo thing is that Spirit Tracks Link was never the same being as Wind Waker Link in the first place, so there wasn't really a reason to replace him...other than clearing up potential confusion for people who don't know that ST Link is WW Link's descendant, I guess....I meant Kamek would be playable and Kammy would replace him in the NSMB level if he was being used. Like how Alphonse replaces Toon Link on the Spirit Tracks stage.
I certainly wouldn't mind that. I'd love a "build-up week".I wonder if this week will be all about "you'll see this also in the demo" or "in the tournament" or "at E3" to build up to that haha.
Personally what I found weirdest is that they felt the need to change the background Link when you can have up to 4 of the same character being played at the same time and no damns are given. But if the same character is being played and part of the stage, that just doesn't make any sense apparently. What's silly about the Alfonzo thing is that Spirit Tracks Link was never the same being as Wind Waker Link in the first place, so there wasn't really a reason to replace him...other than clearing up potential confusion for people who don't know that ST Link is WW Link's descendant, I guess.
Clearly they just really wanted to include Alfonzo somehow.Personally what I found weirdest is that they felt the need to change the background Link when you can have up to 4 of the same character being played at the same time and no damns are given. This was always my thought. It's suddenly insane if to suggest a character in more then one role because of logic that has no place in this game's discussion in the first place.Personally what I found weirdest is that they felt the need to change the background Link when you can have up to 4 of the same character being played at the same time and no damns are given. YES GHOST HOUSE VERSION OMGAlready love this stage. Awesome update.
I am a big NSMB fan, so this one is wonderful. It better have a lava version, as well as a Ghost House version, Painted Forest version, etc. It should have 7 versions, with one Koopaling appearing in every one, in some form.
I'm 95% sure, because we're most likely getting the same demo they are...it wouldn't seem right if they got special treatment and we didn't. People would complain.A new stage that will be playable at E3? That's really cool. Does this mean that it will be in the Best Buy demos as well?
Well, you guys are gettin special treatment over people who don't live in the US/near a best buy. People will complain anyways about a lack of demo's in the eShopYES GHOST HOUSE VERSION OMG

But, he does say at the E3 expo. The demo will most likely be playable at E3 as well.
I'm not one to complain but it does suck that there won't be an eshop demo.Well, you guys are gettin special treatment over people who don't live in the US/near a best buy. People will complain anyways about a lack of demo's in the eShop
Question, isn't Halberd legal in Brawl and doesn't that also have hazards? I don't see how this would be that different, especially because it doesn't seem to be Pictochat level of hazards.I really must expect/hope the game to be really fast paced (in terms of movement options), lest we have Fox in Melee and Meta Knight in brawl levels of character stage dominance. Those platforms in the first picture could be really easy to platform camp with, although there looks to be 7 platforms on there (going by mario/megaman standing on that cliff thing).

Then we get to the second picture, which looks like you could throw people towards the right part of the stage to get "spiked". People can be really picky about such things, especially if it can kill, if it comes up randomly, etc
A stage like this with current character paradigms would probably turn illegal, but who knows. If the spike ball thing isn't horrendous, if the fact that 7 platforms negate the "king of the castle" platform camping, and other transformations aren't that different, could be a solid counter pick.
I really admire the colours, the flip blocks in the first transformation look so much sexier than Yoshi's Island Melee.
That seems to not be the case. As Sakurai only states he will come and change the stage, not that he will cast spells at the players.So....
Is Kamek the boss?
What if this stage has a bowsers castle form :OEh, not a bad stage. I'm basically convinced at this point that we'll never get that long-awaited Bowser's Castle stage, though.
Might just be the instigator/perpetrator of a regular stage hazard.So....
Is Kamek the boss?
I'm not one to complain either, but I would think a downloadable demo would make a lot of sense from a business standpoint. People who already have a 3DS and Wii U would be able to play an early build. I'd be willing to bet that is the type of offer that would sell some 3DS handhelds and Wii U consoles by itself. I guess they see it as more beneficial to have people at Best Buy for people to make early preorders.I'm not one to complain but it does suck that there won't be an eshop demo.
Nope. In fact, it might just be a regular Magikoopa. Magikoopa(the race) is named Kamek in Japan. Let's be honest, the translator may not have known this. So it's easily just a generic guy changing it.So....
Is Kamek the boss?
Unlikely, because normal old Magikoopas are enemies in Smash Run.Nope. In fact, it might just be a regular Magikoopa. Magikoopa(the race) is named Kamek in Japan. Let's be honest, the translator may not have known this. So it's easily just a generic guy changing it.
That doesn't make it unlikely at all. A regular Magikoopa changing a stage? Not weird either. All of them can do magic, so that doesn't mean a thing.Unlikely, because normal old Magikoopas are enemies in Smash Run.
E3 prep week, bro!Whoa....New Stage..?!? ON A MONDAY?!?!
Yes there are hazards on Halberd. Is Halberd legal? Less and less so, but for the majority of Brawl's life time sure. You can blame Meta Knight for eventually forcing it into exclusion. But Halberd's hazards were very very slow and wasn't too strong, while the other was also very slow and easy to SDI to avoid getting taken out by the strong last hit. If its that type of hazard, than it could be fine.Question, isn't Halberd legal in Brawl and doesn't that also have hazards? I don't see how this would be that different, especially because it doesn't seem to be Pictochat level of hazards.
I'm pretty sure that the water pillars will both randomly come up at the same time, with the Urchin switching sides each time.
In my opinion this looks a lot more legal than Poke Stadium 1, just because it seems to not have walls of any kind, which is amazing.
Give it time, I'm in Australia and I have my fingers crossed for an announcement of some form of downloadable demo at the E3. This for now is hopefully just to build hype for the E3 itself. They never release downloadable demos before a release date.I'm not one to complain either, but I would think a downloadable demo would make a lot of sense from a business standpoint.
