They're just standing on opposite ends.

Perhaps it's a double image tonight when it's on Miiverse.

THAT I can believe... Maybe Sakurai will tell us why it keeps changing logos now? Presumably it only has Punch Out logos when Mac is there, which is why it didn't in some of the Diddy shots.

aw well. I'm just going to assume that he states that when Little mac isn't being played on the stage, it becomes the smash bros arena, when he is chosen its the punchout one.

It's going to say when Lil Mac is on the boxing stage it's punch out theme, and when he's not it's smash theme. Bet money.

Every time it's had a Punch Out look we've seen Little Mac, every time it hasn't we've seen the SSB logo. I've been betting on this for a while and I think it's going to be confirmed today.

This should be an explanation on why the stage switches appearances...

I'd rather it be the type of stage where you can change it's appearance before you fight on it by holding L or R before selecting. It's unfair to Little Mac that probably his only stage representation is shared with the Smash Bros. series.
