There goes Dillon. I didn't expect him, but I thought he would be a cool character.

Sonic or not, The Fighters wasn't exactly my cup of tea. Give me Battle (or hell, Shadow's and/or Werehog's melee moves) or give me death. But that's neither here nor there. That's completely fair, and true. I wanted him to be buffed in SSB4, but it doesn't look like he has. Three of his special moves involve him rolling into a ball. So annoying.
Still. It's Sonic!
I don't like playing the card, but looking at the model alone, he seems like he'd be a top priority contender for DLC.Anyone want to theorize Dillon originally being planned for a character but moved to AT?
Maybe even BECAUSE of Sonic
I understand. What I meant to say is that (in your previous comment) in their own way, neither is the wiser imo. They're both awesome.Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Sonic fan. I think he's awesome and uber cool.
But Dillon is a Cowboy Armadillo who has razor claws and guns and sets up turrets to kill giant rock monsters, which he can also tear apart with his bare hands, all of which he does to protect townsfolk.
This is easily the most hilarious thing I've heard all day.No one? Really? Fine, I'll be the one to say it.
I would have preferred Dillon to Sonic as a playable character.
Nah, I feel like they must have known Sonic was going to be in from the beginning this time around, so I really don't think he would've caused any delays or character bumps. It's not completely impossible that they had wanted to make Dillon playable and just ran out of time, but I wouldn't pin that on Sonic more than I would any other character. Really, I just don't think he was a big enough name to make it in this time around. He does have a great looking model, though!Anyone want to theorize Dillon originally being planned for a character but moved to AT?

I totally get this. But that's not Sonic's fault. Sakurai forgot about Sonic Battle when he made Sonic's moveset. Or Sonic Adventure 2 with Sonic Wind...Sonic seemed like an amazing addition to the series.
Then I played as him.
He doesn't even really feel like Classic Sonic. Seeing what he did with Megaman, and what he's done with Sonic would have to make Team Sonic mad. It made me mad... Megaman is such a well thought out character and Sonic is so bland.Actually, the issue was Sonic is that his moveset is too much of a throwback to Classic Sonic. And for some reason, they didn't want to update him for Smash 4. Sonic's cooler moves came as he branched out more.
I'm sure that Sonic & Dillon could have co-existed if Sakurai really wanted to. But I guess he just didn't. Same with Lucario & Mewtwo. But we'll have to see if Sakurai feels like that one too.
Dillion would have certinaly had a more interesting movesset then "ballcurl/ballcurl/hammerspace spring" Sonic. I'm glad he's in the game, but damn the "Genesis feel" moveset is boring. Sonic Wave and Light Speed Dash would have been perfect. I mean, as someone who still consider Classic Sonic the Sonic I appreciate the gesture, but there's no point in avoiding awesome moves for the sake of it.No one? Really? Fine, I'll be the one to say it.

You got an actual source for that? Or are you just talking out of your ass?Sega was in charge of Sonic's moves, not Sakurai.
Go figure.

Considering the original Japanese source is long gone, can't really verify if the translation is 100% accurate. Though I earlier retracted the Sega part since it was only assumption.Apparently Sakurai had no direct involvement with either Sonic's or Link's implementation in Brawl.
Moody, much? It's a simple expression. Very common on the web. Lighten up, ya pansy.http://allisbrawl.com/blogpost.aspx?id=114587

So no, I'm not talking out my ***, and you can kiss it now.
LOL.So..... I'm saying we'll get at least one character this month.
Ah, so it was ME that was the misunderstanding pansy. It must be... ¦(I know. And "kiss my ***" is another common expression.
I thought I was being funny.
....should've used this vid....
It fits perfectly cuz I'm GoldenYuiitusin and all....heh. Heh.
.....
LAUGH.
A trailer comes up seeming to show off something that looks like Mewtwo.So..... I'm saying we'll get at least one character this month.
Hey, at least I didn't say 2.LOL.
We never learn.
And what character should we see before May 24, the day before the longest drought record will be broken?Perhaps the 29th forPink Gold PeachWario or something.
I don't care about it honestly. This month can't be disappointing for me.Hey, at least I didn't say 2.
So did Skull Kid, Ashley, Dark Samus, etc.I have to say more so than any other currently revealed assist trophy, Dillon looks like he could be a playable character very easily.
He just has that look about him.
If you're talking about how good he looks, Nintendog looks better.I have to say more so than any other currently revealed assist trophy, Dillon looks like he could be a playable character very easily.
He just has that look about him.
Hmm I guess. So did Skull Kid, Ashley, Dark Samus, etc.
Nome of those are protagonists, and only Dark Samus feels relevant out of those, Skull Kid has always been a dumb suggestion. So did Skull Kid, Ashley, Dark Samus, etc.
