I seriously doubt Sakurai is going to pull any April Fool's prank designed to actually trick anyone. The most likely outcome of tricking people would be to make them mad which is bad business.

That being said, seriously, do not trust non-official sources of information for the next 24 hours. Any leak posted today is 100% definitely not true. Any real leaker with an iota of intelligence would not post on April 1. Hopefully most of you guys are smart enough to already know that, but I expect that somehow some people will manage to get fooled anyway.

The spring does seem to point to a custom stage, but then again the caption refers to this stage as being "...one of the stages" which suggests it to be a normal stage and not a custom one.
