Midwest Circuit East (Standings before championships are complete)

Circuit events are group-event tournaments that are throughout the Midwest. There will be at least one circuit event for each 'Eastern' Midwest state. You obtain circuit points by attending these events respectful to how you place in the tournament. Separate points are assigned for singles and doubles. At the end of the circuit there will be a championship where points are worth double what they normally are. The people with the top ranking of circuit points after the championship event will receive the pot that has been saved throughout the circuit.
Each Circuit event will have a 5$ venue fee (potentially waived if you provide a setup). The 5$ will go towards supporting the circuit with things such as; Venues, snacks/ beverages, BBQ (Chesterland event), and at the end of the event whatever is left over will be added into the winner's pot.
The circuit pot will be a bonus for the highest point-value holders overall after the championship (prizes TBD). 15% of each overall ENTRY (not venue) fee will be removed per circuit event to be used as a pot bonus at the end of the season.

Teams points will be based PER TEAM. This is to reward people that keep a constant team mate and to prevent the highest players at the end simply teaming up for the championships to win. However, Seeding for the championship will be based on individual points, so attending an event and teaming at all is better than not at all.

To reassure that there is no funny business, I'll be recording the money matters and having me, and the tournament runner sign and date our names at each tournament on a log. This is to keep proper record of the payout/ pot/ expenses and so on in a notary-type way.

I'm going to go ahead and get the show on the road since most people wanted the circuit to start in Summer instead of Autumn.
Much is still to be decided and we're playing this all by ear. MSOP is the first event. Let's make these big!
Just for clarification: There is only a circuit event for the Eastern MW states. The Western circuit plans fell through. Anyone can participate in the events, though the events will be located in the Eastern MW states.

No points requirement, but the more tournaments you go to, the better off you are for the championships. Anyone can enter the championships, but we're going to combine the East and West. The top 8 or so seeders from each region will be able to skip the first round of pools (or something along that line).

Money will be taken out of each entry fee and go toward the circuit pot. The pot will be used to afford amazing venues/ will be given back in the form of prizes for the top rankers in the points system at the end of the season.

I'll clarify more very soon, I just wanted to get the basics out and going. I'm getting super swamped by school.

We're trying to figure out when Viperboy can do his tournament. We definitely need an Illinois tournament and Viperboy is a great host. We've got plenty of Indiana and Michigan support, which is awesome, but it's more than an IN and MI circuit haha.
