In a way youre right Ruuku, This tournament is more targeted at "players" in general but "pros" are also more than welcome. Me and my clan are always on the lookout for a good challenge , this is sort of a way for us to see whos out there. Since It's the first tournament we're doing at PnT we're keeping it simple, For the next one we'll be sure to make the rules less limited, hope you can still come out. Doom dragon, good to see you and ADHD will be attending. So far the draw is looking good. See you guys there. btw we decided 2nd and 3rd place winners will get into the next tourney for free.

VOTE FOR "DA DIRTY SOUF"
before an argument occurs as far as "oh if they can change their vote, then anybody can", we are STILL PICKING THE SAME NAME!!! we were just unsure of how we wanted to spell it. Splitting it was tricky, and now all of us who all agreed on some sort of durty south, are now FORCED to split their votes cuz of this poll, even though we all want the same thing.
WOULD YOU MAKE AN OPTION FOR GENTLEMANS CLUB AND GENTS CLUB? or would you just decide on how you wanted to spell it as it came down to actually chaning the name?
they can't read? im not sure what you mean by this. at 1st, i thought you were saying something about their being rules on votes are final, but i dont see anything stating that. And then i figured you meant, that since they were saying they wanna change, and that action ******* clicked the wrong one, that they should have read the options more carefully, but again, our votes were unfairly split in half.
WE NEVER ASKED FOR TWO OPTIONS THERE, AND IF ANYTHING, YOU SHOULD HAVE ATLEAST ASKED, WHAT WE WANTED AS OUR FINAL OPTION FOR THE POLL. and mike g, you put both down as two diff options, and your not even one of the supporters of the dirty south, so you should def have asked us 1st want we want for the poll. WE ALL AGREE ON THE DIRTY SOUTH, WE JUST WERENT SURE OF THE SPELLING. but now that we are all leaning toward the "DA DIRTY SOUF" we agree that that is the way we want to spell it. so why do the people who picked the dirty south, but still want the forum to be called "durty souf" get punished by not having theri votes counted? 3 of them in a row stated they wanted to change to da dirty souf, after realizing that splitting up out votes would hurt us evcen though they agreed on our overall name.

are you kidding me, thats not fair, and then gonna say its laughable when we want to combine the votes? come on now. its obvious that we would be DOMINATING if we had one option, cuz combined we have like 36 votes. to gents club like 23.
plz, do something to rectify the situation. They should honestly be combined, im still trying to figure out how we're getting our votes split because of spelling.

the show is a really dumb show. i watched 2 episodes. sooooo bad.

Well I spoke to another friend of mine and I have 3 maybes plus the yes from ADHD and I so I bringing 5.
I never get a local tourney in my area -_- the FIU ones are really the only ones in a reasonable distance away so I guess I can deal with the crappy rules, no offense to TC

Jorge, I do think however that at least adding some counterpick stages will attract more people, for example some characters just do too well on BF and on final same. Take DDD he can CG **** on final and Ike's best stage is BF (not that you should worry about low tier), some characters best stages aren't BF and final, sometimes they are the worst so in trying to create a fair experience for everyone it kinda unbalances things a little

For the sake of attracting more people and popular demand i added a few counterpicks to the tournament. I didnt add too many cause the flyers have already been made so i dont want to change things too much. Let me know what you think.
Though I realize that because the entry fee is $5, the 1st prize should be smaller, I'm sorry, but I don't think its totally worth it.

I'm now 100% convinced this entire tournament was a joke. Corneria as a counterpick? Haha, better watch out for Ike's jab combo, it kills at 40%.

You don't need to apologize to me. I wasn't even there. The rules said "no controller modification". 8-Bit modified his controls, not his controller.
No modifing any type of controls was the rule, how more specific did we need to be. Changing the settings falls under modifing controls. I know he's your roommate and you guys share a bed and he cried himself to sleep last night but that was my rule, everyone followed it. Just because it doesnt make sense to you doesnt justify it.

No. According to the rules on the first page, this was the rule:
Nowhere does it mention anything about controls. If you are going to make up random rules that no other tournaments have, at least try to have a clear definition for them. Now all it takes is for you to accept the fact that you aren't an experienced tournament host and you have a thing or two to learn.
See, the thing is that you do not know anything about me. Now, what I know is that on top of being possibly slow, you are acting like an "e-thug" bringing only baseless insults and ignorant argument attempts to this discussion. I think that most people will now see anything you say as null and void as I will do from now on.
Well considering everyone agreed at the tourney that 8-bit being disqualified was the right thing to do, you trying to make Jorge look bad doesnt change anything, Ruuku. We understand he's your friend but that doesnt mean he can break the rules. Considering his negativity toward our tournament and the rules, we didnt think he would show, much less do the exact opposite of what the rules stated. He even lied to us at first about it, constantly changing his story wether he modified it or not. We eventually found out, and he threw a fit and left. I can tell you pretty much everyone in there was fed up with him and his attitude in general, including the manager of the play n trade.

See, none of this has anything to do with anything I've said. All I said is that the wording on the rules was pretty vague. 8-Bit's behavior is completely irrelevant unless that was the real reason why he was disqualified. Next time just try to be more specific.

Ok Ruuku i was a bit out of place, just trying to lighten the mood. Next time I'll be more specific although i know 8-bit knew exactly what i meant by no controller modification ,we discussed it in the forum like 6 times but its all good. And by the way just because my rules were somewhat different then what you're used to playing it doesn't make me unexperienced, you don't know ME and you weren't there so bite your tongue. Everyone else seemed pretty satisfied we the way things went. This is the last thing i will say on the topic. Onithewolf check back tonight around 7 or 8 and I should have all the places!
