Either make Mewtwo better, or replace him with Lucario. They should make Mewtwo balanced. He'll have a balance of speed and power.

Shadow Ball should go in a straight path.

I dont really know how to get rid of Teleport.

Disable has got to go.

Confusion has go to go as well.

Disable can be replaced with Barrier or can disable an A-move

-its new DownB could be Recover...it could only be used once per stock and it could recover up to 50%(it will take like 7 seconds to reach 50% and it can be interupted by an attack...so basically...even something like Mario's F.L.U.D.D can waste a Mewtwo's Recover...)

I can agree with that.

Don't you remember? the armor restricted his power so that he wouldn't randomly blow stuff up. The armor makes him weaker.

Naaah. See, the problem is that Mewtwo's too fearsome.

You see, Sakurai invited all those characters and sent them the necessary material if they agreed to come.
Unfortunately, the postman was too afraid to approach Mewtwo to bring him the letter with all the necessary material, so Mewtwo, all used to being uber and accidently killing people by looking at them too hard, told himself to not take the battle too seriously to give the other characters a chance.

Then Sakurai applied the balance-hammer.

Mewtwo did wonder how a Pikachu and a Jigglypuff were supposed to compete with the King of Evil Ganondorf anyway.


So think of it like when they take a passport photo of you without a warning.

See, you have Mew, the basis of all Pokemon ( or something ). He's designed to look both rather generic and at the same time, iconic and characteristic of all Pokemon, and like a fetus.

Mewtwo looks like a *******ized, grown-up, bitter, scarred, a violated version of Mew's innocent character. Which is exactly what he is.

Also, the Rayquaza and being the most powerful Pokemon thing is purely subjective. I personally think that it's good that Mewtwo's design isn't so overwrought. Sometimes, less is more.

I know, I... was too lazy to make a coherent sentence there. Rayquaza is pretty much about as powerful as Mewtwo, isn't it?

Well, my point was that Mewtwo's design is more fit than Ray's for an "ultimate" Pokemon because his is iconic ( based on the iconic Pokemon, Mew ) and not so overwrought that he evokes associations of something unimportant.
Like, what else would you have given the genetically manipulated clone of Mew who was never supposed to be born? Cannons? That's silly. Tentacles? Why would he have tentacles? Some sort of runes all over his body? What sort of runes and for what reason?

In the end, Mewtwo is supposed to look like a really miserable and exploited Mew, and being all gray and stuff like that, he does that perfectly.
And that's probably why he's still considered the ultimate by most. Because he just looks so iconic and... not a reference to anything outside of Pokemon like an Egyptian culture or a legend or something.

Mewtwo was considered the ultimate Pokemon until Lugia and Ho-oh appeared. Also, with Pokemon like Rayquaza, Dialga, and Palkia roaming around, Mewtwo has gained a lot of competition. In fact, Mewtwo is actually inferior to Arceus, which is the creator of the Pokemon world.

Also, if you've played Pokemon Battle Revolution, Mewtwo's appearance looks different than it looked in the N64 Stadium games. Of course, it's still inferior to Melee's Mewtwo.

It doesn't matter if his Special Attack or Speed are greater, all in all, his Base Stats are lower.
