Metaknight footstool combo

Ok, so i've seen lots of these types of combos with other characters, which usually end with a jab lock, and i decided to make one for metaknight.

Your opponent must be at a very low percentage in order for this to work. (for floaties it's lower but it's still very low for heavies) Anyways here's the combo:

uair just before you hit the ground. it has to be low enough to hit the opponent, and it works on (i think) all the characters. i tried it on jiggs and it worked fine, so that shouldn't be hard. then you short hop foot stool your opponent. FF a nair and then follow it up with a ftilt/dtilt/jab lock.

BTW IM NOT SAYING THIS IS A TRUE COMBO OR ANYTHING SO DON'T POST ANYTHING LIKE "Brawl has no combos."

PS: i would film it but i don't have a video card or w/e you need to get good quality yet, so if anyone films this, just send it to me so i can put it on youtube.

Enjoy!:)

well footstool to nair works in the air and on the ground almost 100% of the time.

unless they trip the f/d tilits wont connect if they (P)shield it

thats not exactly what i meant. i mean after they hit the ground from the footstool fastfall a nair, like a jab lock hit, setting up perfectly for a jab lock. it might be confusing; i mean after the uair its a footstool in the air, not on the ground.

ye i actually completely agree with you, but everyone else has one and i didn't want mk to feel left out lol. i've actually done this once. since uair is so lagless a good approach at the beginning of the match is to shorthop nair/airdodge then use uair, then follow up with the combo. don't expect it to be used much, but im just putting it out there as an option.

DMG was saying something about how broken this was in the Game and Watch Back room, a while back.

I was actually going to ask about it, but here this topic is =D

ye i don't see this as broken seeing how hard to pull off it is, but like i said, SH air dodge could definitely help you get to a really high percentage really early on in a match.

How far before you can recover from a footstool?

Like, if I grab a diddy, get a d-throw to u-air off, could I do this from there or does it have to be really close to the ground?

ill have to try that out. im pretty sure it can be pretty far off the ground and still be untechable, but the problem there is DI. if your trying to do a combo with diddy similar to mine, then i think you can, but the higher they are off the ground, the harder it is to do. I don't imagine, however, that people have the reactions to completely throw you off cuz i don't know anyone who DIs as soon as they get hit with a footstool.

I just got thru testing it wit ROB (uptilt> FSJ,> nair, dtilt lock) and its much easier due to his unique FS animation. i usually end it with Dsmash, but i think tornado can get them in time and deal more, or we can dtilt the ROB offstage, fall off the edge with a dair, and possibly get a stage spike attempt. Also, I think someone should take a look at the possibilities of FSJ>D-cape as an option after any decent footstool attempt, as it cancels the vertical momentum and allows you teleport to where they fall for a regrab or possble attack.

I think FS>D-cape (towards downed opponent) can give you enough time as you land to regrab them or attack as they rise. i dont think i can tilt lock, but i'm continuing testing to see if that's 100% true.
