About fifteen minutes after a smash session, I felt a muscle in my arm (the one you can stretch by extending your arm straight in front of you and pulling back on your fingers) start to throb. I went back to playing smash that night, and realized that it hurt when I released the L-button from a wavedash. Has anyone else been injured playing smash?

APEX ripped the skin off of my thumb and it took until RoM until I noticed that it was fully healed.

I think pride has been hurt more than anything esle. my thumbs hurt after playing as fox for a few hours. if your hands hurt drop fox pick anyone esle even falco is fine. that being said my falco is more techincal than my fox but hurt less.

I bet some feelings have been hurt. I'd give them a hug to help, unless they squeeze my a**

If your forearms are getting sore from hitting the L/R triggers... wow... just keep playing and you'll get those muscles in better shape.

I've gotten a blister on my left thumb before. After a while it turns into a big callus and you're pretty much set to play unlimited lol

i have two calusses on my left middle finger from gripping the controller

and then on my controller there's two big white spots where the paint has faded from gripping the controller that correspond to my calluses (i've used this controller for almost 3 years)

when i play my hardest i tend to grip the controller really hard with my left hand (maybe cuz i use the stick a lot) so if i play someone good for a while my hands hurt kinda bad

lololololol son I played high school baseball as a pitcher for two years. I'm definently in the ninety ninth percentile of forearm fitness. It's likely that I tweaked it doing something else, and the motion aggravates it.

I have had many a injury from smash as we all know it takes a toll on our body, but dont worry! keep at it!
My secret is that i usually do an extreme stretching routine (even Yoga) before every smash session to prevent injuries. Make sure you consume lots of fluids before touching a controller. You never know what can happen during an intense smash session!

but worst thing was when i pulled my controller out to hard and it nailed me in the eye, i couldn't see out of that eye for the rest of the night

Once I got stoned and played smash with my friend for like 16 hours straight and when we finally stopped I realized I hadn't eaten, drank, slept, or gone to the bathroom for most of a day

****'s not healthy

Some guy once tried to use his controller as a nunchuck to hurt me because I beat him x_x. He hit me once while I was wonderin, then he hit himself, then I subdued him, XD. Didn't hit him though. I'm not the violent type.

It bloody hurts for the time inbetween blister and callus though.

I'm pretty used to gaming related thumb blisters but I never new anything like the one HRC as Yoshi gave me before. And the sad thing is, I'm still twent meters off that stage :(.

One Finnish smasher went to hospital after having an epileptic seizure (no, he doesn't have epilepsy) for playing too much melee and not drinking, eating or sleeping during that time >_>
