I always listen to bumpin' music for smash; I need the confidence. Basically whatever works on a treadmill. As much as I love me some Marvin Gaye or Al Green, they don't really work for smash.

If I really wanna zen out and get in tune with my character though, I have to pick music accordingly.

House is specifically reserved for Fox.
Gangsta rap for Falco.
Epic/fantasy rock for Marth (Blind Guardian, Amon Amarth, etc)
metal for falcon
and the bubbliest of bubbly pop for Jiggs & Peach
