It will include anime music, opening video, and character and stage textures.

I think I will make the opening vid Cowboy bebop or lucky star (It depends on what everyone wants).

Oh god. My spidey senses are telling me it's another random guy who download Game Maker from the internet and thought it would be cool to make a Smash Bros. game despite lacking in the knowledge or drive to get anywhere past the planning phase. -__-

Also, everyone needs to keep in mind that these songs will be played alot. So I will be picking the songs that everyone would be least likely to get tired of. I don't want this to be like all of those other hacked melees were everyone would just turn the sound off because it was too annoying.

And, after I finish all the audio hacks I will move to the textures.

Oh, I'm not making a new game, just modding. Even though I am majoring in computer science and have had a number of programming classes, I am not yet experienced enough to make a new game entirely or build a game engine.

At some point, I would like to go into the actual code of melee and change a few things. Such as the Pokemon stage transformations. I would just have to locate the code in charge of this procedure and figure out what to do from there. If it's timer based I would ether change the timing (make it transform about 30 min into a game) or put the timer in an infinite loop (might not work).

This project is more for learning and having fun. As well as, producing something awesome.

Here is an anime That I am very into as of lately, It is about a vampire attack on a modern day village and it is painfully slow but it is really good. Maybe you might find this link useful maybe not.

Next up is Darker than black and it is truly a very entertaining anime. I do recommend it and the main character you can put in by texture hacking Marth. (Just a recommendation the second series does not revolve around hei as much witch is what the change in song theme there is about.)

Wow...I was thinking I was one of the 3 bakemonogatari fans here at WSF. I did not know there was a fourth . Nice to meat you. Anyway, yes, staple staple is hands down bakemonogatari's best opening the fourth one is better than 2, 3, and 5 but still staple staple captures the heart of the anime very well. (Though five is...unique...to say the least but it does not cover the whole anime like staple staple.)

My previous recommendation on shiki I wish to recant because it is a good song but it does not loop well (Especially the full version.)

Edit: Soul eater OP 1: I recommend strictly as a boss battle song. However I do highly recommend it.

And Staple Stable doesn't really do much for me. It's definitely better than lesbro's and catprez's OPs, but I'd put snailoli's just a little above it for being catchier. Probably my main problem with it is that it just seems lazy... it's like Shaft's animators suddenly realized that the season was starting in one hour, and they had no ideas for the OP. So they frantically fast forwarded through the first episode looking for something, anything to use, and settled on the stapler that she uses in one scene. A little 3D modeling, some copy/paste animations, and a fair bit of innuendo later, we had SS.

I liked the 3D but I guess you have a point. What is a weeaboo? (I am not up to date on internet/anime* speak.)
