Mario & Sonic Guy
Old rivalries live on!
Do you have any idea on the compression method that's used for "Kirby's Return to Dreamland"? I know that the newer ntcompress.exe supports the LZ77, Huffman, and LH compression methods.

I'm on it.Bonkers.
Over Dedede.
It must happen.
If you've got the right version of NTCompress.exe, when you run it in one of the command prompt, one of the options should be "-x". If it's there, put the following in the command prompt:RandomT, what arguments did you run ntcompress with that allowed it to decompress the Return to Dreamland files? I haven't been able to get them converted into something readable yet with default options.

You've got "Kirby's Epic Yarn" on the MDL0 list in the OP twice.
ntcompress.exe -x Base.brres.cmp
Yeah, the European E3 demo was leaked, and just out of curiosity I checked it to see if it had BMD files, but was surprised when it didn't (considering Wind Waker and Twilight Princess did). There was an SS demo leak apparently.
Oh, I forgot that this game was coming out today. Did you already obtain a copy of it, or are you just assuming that it has MDL0 because of the first game? If you do have it, can you rip something or make a list of all the Pokemon in the game? I don't think that there's any info on the fansites yet.and I'm certain that PokéPark 2: Beyond the World has it, too. More on those in a bit.
I'll have it soon-ish. And yes, I'm assuming it does since the first one has it. I'll post up a complete list of all of the included Pokémon within an hour or two.Oh, I forgot that this game was coming out today. Sounds like the problem I was getting when I had an old version of ntcompress.exe.ehh damn im having a hard time ripping these Skyward Sword models >.>
always seem to be getting a "#####.arc_NONE.bin" while in HxD while opening it, it shows the bress header.. and MDL0 and TEX0 data.... so im stumped :srs:
hmm really? the NTCompress i have is the 1 that RTB gave me like an hour ago... is urs updated or something?Sounds like the problem I was getting when I had an old version of ntcompress.exe.
The newer one is ~120kb, and should have a -x [Decompress] option in command line.
well whenever i open it, it closes asap... even running it as an admin, it doesnt stay openThat sounds about right.... are you running it with the -x option?
I run mine like this:
ntcompress.exe -x "filename"
... im lost...You can see what it is saying by making a batch file, and running it like this:
for %%i in (*.arc) do ntcompress.exe -x "%%i"
pause
The pause at the end will give you a chance to see what it is saying.

It doesn't stay open when you click on it, because it is a command line program, and doesn't have an interface to show. Run it from command prompt, or from a batch file.
I don't have a microphone, but I can message as much as you need.... im lost...
mind getting on skype and helping me out?
and once again... thxs for the help :DI don't have a microphone, but I can message as much as you need.

Use U8Tool to unpack the Res00-Res03.dan files. As for the cupcakes:When people first started getting MDL0s from Pokepark 1, someone posted this data file from the game that you could open with a hex editor and highlight a portion of it to save a brres from it. They had the brreses for every Pokemon in them. Is there something like that that you can get and legally post from this game?
And I have to ask, what are the cupcakes? >_>
