And hang around people who love the game AND are fun to be with. Not going to name people, but you should know the smashers who just focus too much on winning to have fun. And let's face the truth, it's practically impossible to play with those kind of people for long periods of time.

I'm not saying you shouldn't play to win. But if you're not having fun, I can think of tons of other social activities you could be devoting your time to.

Agreed with David, but in tournaments when money is on the line, I'd suggest playing to win should be your main goal. In friendlies, smashfests, and outside of tourney the focus should be improvement and fun. If you don't enjoy playing the game then there is no point in playing it at all (Reasons most quit).

I love playing brawl still lol.

Playing to improve is your primary goal. The wins will come through your growth.

Learning cheese tactics, taking shortcuts and not putting the time and effort to develop your own playstyle will cost you. It's no use copying others when you can't understand what's going on in their mind and their analysis of options.

No. It doesn't. No one's does. You put a signature on your character. It's never going to be the same as someone else's.

If you don't have the eyes to see that, or can't differentiate between character mains and their playstyles, then you need to work on developing those perceptions.

Well, bad news David, I can't go tomorrow. I have to take krystal to hanover so she can get a car. This will be worth it though, so I do not have to provide future rides for her to get cars and can get her used to me being gone on wednesday for training.

So i'll miss this week, but next week's im in there for sure. If there is woodbridge on sat i'm definitely in. Kenny, any word on the hoodbridge?

Make it a 5/5/5 tourney Aposl. Demand for a low cost tourney might be beneficial to gaining more entrants into your tourney. Peepz ain't made of money and continually having 10/10/10 tourneys is making newcomers not want to go and the only ones who end up going are those who're set on just profiting.
