You Boston college kids (not Boston College just kids who go to college in Boston) should be on the lookout for venues! Like...college game rooms and such?

UMass Boston peeps probably still play in the game room there. Go take it over.

Also, dorm lounges are a good place to bring TV's and just play games. Do it.

Hahaha. Oh man, my college blows. We don't have a game room. We are literally a building on the corner of a city block. MCP (Mass College of Pharmacy, but I'm not pharmD anyway) - 2 buildings , about 2 student lounges total, each with 1 tv, and no recreational activities at all. We don't have a cafe and we don't have gym. We have no campus. It's so boring.

Edit: As for Dorms here, we are only assured 1 year of on campus dorms, which is located right next to lecture halls, since it's just 1 building. So, I can't use the dorms.

pretty sure that the importance of where you go to do undergrad is overrated. Going to a good place for grad school is what matters (if you wanna go to grad school that is)

Some majors don't need a masters before they become useful, namely engineering degrees. Polytechnic schools are really good for undergrad engineering, since employers know they're getting people who are already adjusted to the engineering workforce.

We don't really have a good game room either, we reserve it for smash on fridays only, and usually its with alot of scrubs so it ends up being ffa's, I should check out Umass Boston sometimes, I know a couple people there who plays.

When I went to NC State for summer camp, I saw a really good system for developing smashers, they have a wii set up to a 40 inch TV at their library, so they have really good people playing there for like 3 hours everyday.

I play both, but to be honest, I haven't played melee in a long while. I still love it though, where samus wasn't so s****. I'd be down to play, just don't expect too much Just gotta get used to wavedashing, SFFLing, and not trying to grab the ledge with the back of my head all over again, haha.
