I'm sure people will be discouraged, but we gotta remember this. Depending on what's shown, I will be analyzing as much as I can to see if there is anything else that could hint positively towards Skull Kid
That means more dumb fan theories doesn't it?
Unfortunately it might, but I mean, I'll try and be looking for concrete things shown in gameplay etc lol
At this point, the only thing that could discourage people is the deconfirmation of Skull Kid. Since the last direct, people know that he could be playable. The only reason why they were not more vocal is because they didn't believe that Skull Kid has a chance, because you know, Smash Fans' rules like "if you're an AT, there's no way you can become playable" or "Zelda can't have anything else than the triforce trio".
It doesn't necessarily mean anything. They've been renewing the trademark for Eternal Darkness for years and doing **** all with it.
Heaven forbid people actually speculate.
Almost that exact thing is in my sig's prediction list. Let's hope we are both right.I'm going out on a limb and say that Skull Kid and Isaac will be revealed tomorrow with separate trailers, with an Isabelle echo announcement coinciding with a new Animal Crossing game revealed.
This may be too much, but I'm too hyped for the direct to notice that.
Yeah. If he isn't revealed today he could be revealed in the character dump when they show the rest of the characters. My guess is the final character will be a pretty big reveal though
It is curious that he is still teasing skull kid specifically. I mean i talk to him on discord and we've chatted for while about Zelda because we are big fans of it and MM specifically, but he is also aware about Isaac and other characters that we are supporting in that discord and yet, he isn't teasing any of them (like Isaac, geno, etc) like he is doing with skull kid, he only says to lower our expectations, but then he goes crazy teasing skull kid like this lol. Anyways, I don't want to go crazy trying to analyze why he does what he does… but indeed, it's just a few hours away now… we will know soon enough.
But we really want our character tho. We just want this over with. How else are we supposed to go about it?
Of course we all want Skull Kid, but these aren't leakers who's words are law, so to put your hopes on them isn't wise. Of course you're free to do so, but just know that it's your own fault if you end up being disappointed later on, there'll be no consolation around these parts for believing them. Besides, Skull Kid's potential inclusion in this game does not rest on either their words or even tonight's reveal.
I won't be disappointed, really. Just exhausted and will probably detached from the site until he's in. Haha I like getting my hopes up sometimes because there's a feel good sense to it, "I'm done" after giving it my all.
At this point I'm convinced that Loz18 is a troll. We should absolutely not take his teases or Vergaben's words as gospel.
A million times this! Let us be cautiously hype. Putting to much faith in a 'leaker' when only exploded back in your face if they are wrong.
Certainly, I'm very hopeful but I don't consider him a lock. hope for the best prepare for the worst
