malcolm the sonic player from the bx weekly

malcolm the sonic player. we all know sonic is not good of a character to start off with. he's tough to use and relies on alot of speed to win his matches. malcolm had the whole crowd behind him when he faced inui yesterday who is a good mk player and took him to the last match.... last stock...... 100 percent plus. after the match inui said himself your sonic is beast and you made sonic like higher on the tier.


after the match was done.... people such as eazy, atomsk, basic sausage and others all admitted that its to soon to start judging characters. malcolm does WHAT NO ONE ELSE DID AND STOOD WITH SONIC THOUGHOUT NO MATTER THE SITUATION.



two people said how can he come close to beating inui, but not come top ten.... and to me its not the placing he did.... its the style of play and skills he did with sonic that i didn't see anyone do. i would like to see more people stay with their characters... it's to early in this game to give up on a character just cause it's to hard to win.

also the two people said it don't mean nothin till the win is established...... and thats not true. charles barkley who never won a championship is a great example of this.

Lol like I've always stated for the past few months guy has the best sonic in the tristate. I laugh at people who told me Blue was better than him. Not discrediting blue's skill but Malcolm is just ridiculous. Dnt wrry Ima keep hypin you up son!

Yo mad props to malcom and his sonic. It was honestly amazing. You dont play ad defensive and boring like most sonics, and you honestly did your thing.

Bum you're right, but the community needs to make sure it admires those who deserve recognition. People who make those decisions not to main meta/snake etc need to be pushed and praised so they feel some sense of accomplishment.


I now take time to pay props to those types of people
Pride- GOOD **** not switching off yoshi. Ive seen u pick up other chars and tried to not only use yoshi but the love is too strong and I really respect you for doing your thing and bringing your character so far.
Snakee- your char isnt bad at all, but you've been playing her from the door. Good Job, you def created that character for the tristate.
BUm- good **** as usual, dont even need to say much more cuz there is no chance u wud hop off dk for anyone.
Darkpeach- Mad impressed with u dude, keep puttin in work and one day u will place above 9th i promise.
BLue- same as malcolm honestly, keep workin and ur sonic might get as sexy as malcolms.
Blackwaltz- really really good job on olimar, Taking olimar from being seen as the ****ty char who gets gimped, to one of the scariest chars to have to fight in tourny musta been really tough.

Way more but it will take forever. But I honestly respect players who may have went up in tier but didnt make a run for S tier characters to save the day.

Shoutouts to anyone who hasnt given up all hope on increasing character potential for a few more tourny wins and a 1 way trip for their soul to hell.


Edit- Def blackwaltz. People like keitaro, yehs, spammerer,dm, atomsk picked up their chars from the beginning before they knew about who was great and horrible. I respect that as well.

I started playing Meta Knight because he's more fun. I like attacking, and the other characters I used had to camp too much to win.

yes all the players that stick to their characters no matter the favor of the fight. pride is also one of the people that play sexy. to me it ain't bout your rank. i speak to people no matter how bad you are in the game. it's you are able to excite a crowd with your skills and how you use your character. being high rank is a big plus though.

EXACTLY how I feel.
It doesn't matter if I can Nolimar some guy at Chibo's tourney. It doesn't matter if I can do it at terrabyte 2.
All that matters is how the player cares for the character.
It's about the player, not the character.
