Batallion Army seems a bit complicated and non-Smash like from the preview, but it does seem interesting.

Unfortunately, I don't really have any ideas. You're basically trying to make a version of Pikachu's Up B that Toad could use, correct?
Correct. Except, most of the new versions of up specials allow for more recovery if you're skilled, but have a dreadful downfall as well. Like, Yoshis' has him throw an egg with all the other toads in it upwards. It goes up quite far, but Red toad is KOed, so you lose one of the toads.

WOOT, As soon as I finish Dsaster, I'm onto these troopers
@Jimny: I was just getting out some ideas from the top of my head, so there might be some changes as I do this set. Besides, I'm obviously going to make the Grunts a tiny bit smaller than Mario, and have the other grunts smaller, and have Light tanks about the size of Bowser. I'll try my best to make the Commanded player as under-powered as possible, so that he has to rely on the other troops.
At least you like my Idea ^^
EDIT: And you think AOSTH Robotniks can fit into SSBB?

I see where your coming from, but tactics is the best way to proove your powers. Just think of this as a EXTREMLY harder to learn Olimar, without the following in the airness.
Battalion Army is for those Hardcore gamers with an amazing mind and tactics, and that's my aim.
I realise that Advance Army VS Battalion Army HAS to be done is a SM!

I daresay your army is going to be a lot more complicated than mine.
The Advance Army isn't without their quirks, but they'll be quite a bit more adjusted for a Smash Bros. feel.But yeah, that SM bit would be cool.

Hehehe, Story mode would be awesome (imagines Artiellry attacking from miles away, and grunts being common enemies), that thought is just win!, or make the level REAL strageic, like one army has much lower numbers than the opposite, and CAN'T recruit anyone.I daresay your army is going to be a lot more complicated than mine.
But yeah, that SM bit would be cool.

If you do the Eevee Rangers moveset, I shall do the Groudon Warrior and Lugia Knight moveset!
I have no idea where my falcon set is, but every attack was Falcon Punch which did 999%.

Give lugia knight a XD001 costume or form and I will make this one of my top 5 movesets I want to see done. It'll be up there with warlord's beast boy and, to be honest, spade's virus trio.

Weight - 4/5 Ridley's a big guy, but his flying abilities will have a small effect on his ground movement, making him a little more floaty than he normally would because of how he moves. His heaviness would be somewhere between Ganondorf and Bowser.
Ground Speed - 1/5 Ridley's ground speed will be his main falling. Because of his flying abilities advantages, he has to have disadvantages somewhere. He will stand on his feet when still, but when trying to move on the ground he will be like a a speedy Bowser. Don't think that's a good thing, a speedy Bowser.
Flying Speed - 5/5 This will be Ridley's main advantage. When in flight, he will be able to swoop down on his opponents with great velocity. He'll also have an infinite amount of jumps, but with each going up and down in a bobbing motion. The KO possibilities are that with each jump the downwards motion will get lower and lower.
Power - 4/5 Ridley's main arsenal will be short-ranged, devastating blows combined with juggernaut projectiles on ground and longer-ranged but powered down projectiles in the air. His moves won't be as powerful as Ganondorf's because of his aerial speed advantages, but he'll be a force to be reckoned with.
Reach - 2/5 Ridley's aerial reach will be massive, his projectiles covering the entire screen if performed at the right time. The downside is that once on the ground they're rendered uselss in comparison. Although holding an extra punch, they reach a margin of the reach. His A moves will also be short, on ground and in the air.

^ - A good 'ole neck wrench. Ridley snaps his head around in a circular motion, sending opponents mid-air if smash'd or simply stunning them. Performed in the air it will have the same effects, but send them over his head and falling if smash'd.

\/ - Fire swoop. On the ground, Ridley can pull his neck back and charge the attack with a violently red aura blowing, releasing the power as a small stretch of powerful fire energy. In the air it is completely different, allowing Ridley to swoop down and pick someone up. Whilst gripped Ridley can carry them for a short while and drop them where he wants, causing 1/2% damage to them with each second carried. If he misses, though, he loses height in the air and goes far across the screen. In that way it is almost a suicide move. It can also be used as a last-ditch-attempt recovery move.
^ - Upward fireball. On the ground it is chargeable, at it's peak it will shoot three fireballs in the air that break away then come back down. In the air it allows Ridley to shoot a spray of lava in the air, coming back down all over the stage with more/less damage and covering more/less ground depending on how far off the ground it is performed.

You can avoid these, though, by flying to the very top of the screen.
Predator - Ridley howls like he normally does in his taunt, then flies off-screen. Every few seconds he'll swoop down in a fast, diagonal direction, dragging the opponent down with him. The opponent(s) have a very small margin of time to escape the attack.
Likelihood of being in 'Brawl
Ridley is the undisputed contender for the villain crown of the Metroid series in Super Smash Bros. He was in the 'Melee opening, he's been in the series since the beginning, he is very popular and he has one of the possibly most versatile and styled moveset. He's an icon of the Metroid franchise, and of Nintendo, so why not? I can't think of any reasons why he shouldn't be in. All I can say is...

Actually, I'm not planning on having mine revolve around any kind of recruitment. I'm not sure how much I want to spoil, but the Advance Army is going to be more based on a strategy involving only one unit, with access to a variety of others.
I mean, heck, if you strip 'em down, every Advance Wars unit is just an Infantry.

That's fine, I dont mind being solo for now and octillery has no progress done, or come to think of it, SMBZ mecha hasn't even been started. I guess I'll drop thse two and put the smash announcer on hiatus (there is an epic I have and I need him to use it. PM me for spoilers if you wish.) to work on the eeveelution rangers. Sadly, there will be no zords as I already have final smashes for half of them thought of. Expect them, non-partner kirby enemies, smash announcer, and the majority of my SM in Q1 or Q2 MYM5!

The commander/grunt you control will have some of the properties of the other infantry as well.
Atleasts ours will be completly different! (Maybe it should be Battalion Army vs placed Advance army troops for that SM thing if anyones doing one)

I think it was a simplified version of the smash, for tilts.
Then the smash attack in the air was the aerials.
