*huff puff* Wow~ That was bursting nerves! >.<"

Anyone who wants to comment on Guntz, make reviews on him or anything else - feel free to do so. ^.^

Edit:
@KingK.Rool:
I hope you'll open it to the public soon, as it is password-protected now.
Is it now? Mendez said he'd open it. That fool. It's so cool, too... well, anyway.

I'm reading Guntz now, and I like what I see. Good stuff, Spade. Very good.

EDIT: Hoss is posted twice, Flame. Just thought you should know, and fix.

Yeah, sorry for the double-post debacle. I have no clue how that trasnpired, except for my own negligence. :-/

Oh, and I'll happily cease plagiarizing your Bandwith at once, Spadefox. :)

I was thinking about doing a Bowser Jr. set, but I decided to withhold it...for now at least. Characters that are well established as SSB4 newcomers as hard to succeed with, as they have been done many times. Hope you do him justice...in 5-10 min...

Spade, I'm done reading Guntz. Great job on him. Almost all of the attacks are really interesting. The standards are actually cooler than the specials (which I also observed in your Students), but it's all good. He seems a tad overpowered, though. Great range + great power is a recipe for disaster, regardless of his other stats. If you ask me, most of his attacks should go down by 3-5% in damage output. Forward Air is a quick option that makes him even more deadly... maybe make that one weaker?

On the whole, though, a terrific start to MYM 4 from you, and for the contest in general.

I think I'm gonna wait for Bear to be up before reading that duo.

This means that I'm going back and reading Dimentio in-depth. *takes a deep breath*

Mario + Mario = Rapid Fireball

Kirby dons both Mario’s hat and mustache when he copies the plumber twice. He also gains Mario’s original fire-throwing ability... immediate execution. Up to three fast-moving Fireballs can be on the screen at one time, each dealing the same damage as if you had only copied it once. Useful for edgeguarding or for a rapid assault.

Mario + Luigi = Dual Flare

Kirby dons Mario’s hat with a green ‘L’ displayed. When executed, Kirby shoots a green fireball from his hand, which flies parallel to the ground. Around THAT fireball, a red one revolves, expanding the hitbox greatly. Each one does the usual amount when it hits separately, but if one hits the other is sure to follow. After the green one reaches its maximum distance, the red one flies upwards a slight amount, then falls down into the ground and disappears.

Mario + Peach = Fire Toad

With Peach’s crown balanced precariously atop Mario’s hat, Kirby’s idle position looks more like a balancing act. Upon execution, Kirby pulls out an orange Toad with red spots, and waits to be hit. If it is attacked, the Toad shoots out not spores, but flames. However, it deals the same damage and knockback; this is more of an aesthetic change.

Mario + Bowser = Burning Hand

Kirby flings out his hand as if he plans to shoot a fireball, but instead emits Bowser’s Fire Breath from his outstretched palm. This enables a slight range increase, as well as doubled time for it to remain active.

Mario + Donkey Kong = Fire Punch

Donkey Kong’s furry body and Mario’s red cap combine together to form one of Kirby’s most retro costumes. As he winds up for the punch that DK is most well for, you may notice a red aura surrounding his flailing fist. When the punch is released, it appears like a Falcon Punch without the falcon, and does 1.5x more damage and knockback than the Giant Punch without amplification. The charge time is somewhat longer, however.

Mario + Diddy Kong = Flame Shot

Kirby wears Mario's cap with the phrase 'Nintendo' in lieu of the standard M, Kirby is the essence of advertisement. He pulls out a popgun, but oh no! It's on fire! It doesn't seem to bother Kirby all that much, though. When he ends up shooting the gun, a fireball comes out in the style of Mario, but its speed is comparable to a Peanut of similar charge. It will also bounce lower than usual, and can bounce off of walls.

Mario + Yoshi = Fried Egg

Kirby dons the hat of a Red Yoshi for this move, Super Mario World's symbol of the fire ability. He sticks his tongue out to consume the opponent just like Yoshi would, but instead of having the opponent pop out into a nice, comfortable egg, they find themselves trapped in a blazing inferno! On the outside, however, it simply appears to be a harmless red Yoshi egg. 2-3% damage is dealt every 1/3 second, but you can add onto that if you wish. The egg is easier to break out of than its original form.

Mario + Squirtle = Steam Stream

Kirby looks like a little doll when he has this power, Mario's hat sitting atop Squirtle's shell. This is chargeable just like Squirtle's Water Gun. Kirby rears back and begins to spit intertwining streams of fire and water, but wait - they quickly transform into a stream of pure steam! This stream is different from regular water gun in that it doesn't have as much push, but obscures the screen quite neatly for ten seconds afterwards.

Donkey Kong + Squirtle = Torrent Fist

How cute - Kirby's half ape and half turtle! Watch out, though. After charging for up to two seconds, just like DK and his Giant Punch, Kirby can release an attack of devastating proportions - a massive fist of foam and water that he spews out, which, depending on how long you've charged, can cross up to half of FD! Any contact deals a neat 15% and knockback depending on charge time - at full, it's pretty potent! However, unlike DK's, this one can't be stored... use it or lose it!

-KingK.Rool

Donkey Kong + Ivysaur Vine Wrangle

A strange combination results in a strange attack. This punch is chargeable like DK's, although, while you charge, small flowers begin to bloom around him. When you use the punch, in addition to the powerful hitbox on his fist, two vines shoot out from behind it, going a bit farther than Ivysaur's grab. If and only if the punch itself misses, the vines reel the foe in and send you directly into a grab position. Quite handy.

-KingK.Rool

Donkey Kong + Charizard

Donkey Kong + Lucario = Quake Pulse

As Kirby strikes a focusing stance, he charges, just like either of the two characters he's stolen from. The attack itself has him spewing a Aura Sphere, but pale green and moving at a steadier pace. After a certain amount of space, depending on how long you charged, it bursts, causing a ground shake like a larger version of DK's Down Special. The bomb does 9% on contact, while the ground pound has good upwards knockback and 12%. A great combo, as long as the foe stays put.

Instead of exploding, however, upon contact, they sprout teeth and clamp onto the hapless foe! They can button mash to escape, but they're still helpless for a while - so use the opportunity to punish. If they touch a wall or the ground, however, they will bite into said obstacle, and serve as a defense against approach.

Did you expect anything else? With a parka in the green shade of the Hero, Kirby pulls out Toon Link’s bow and fires an arrow with a glowing blue tip. When it strikes an opponent, it does no knockback at all, but it does freeze them! Use it to follow up with another attack! The damage taken is equivalent to the damage a similarly-charged arrow would deal.

-SirKibble

Toon Link + R.O.B.

Toon Link + Kirby

Toon Link + Meta Knight =
Wind Arrow

Meta Knight’s mask and Toon Link’s green hat cause Kirby to pull out a bow when using his Neutral B. He pulls it back just like Toon Link, and fires an arrow the same way. If the arrow comes in contact with someone, a rush of wind shoots out of it and blows the enemy away, greatly helping the knockback of the arrow.

Toon Link + Lucario = Aura Arrow

Toon Link’s green cap sits between a pair of Lucario ears atop Kirby’s head. Charge this up like an Aura Sphere, and release it the same way. When you do, it takes the shape of an arrow, rather than a ball. This, unfortunately, doesn’t boost the attack power by a lot. It’s a little bit stronger, but not enough to have a large effect on the match's outcome, although it gives you a few % points of leeway.

-SirKibble

Toon Link + Jigglypuff

Toon Link + Marth = Bodkin Point

An arrowhead that pierces armor?! Yep, that’s what cool blue hair beneath the Hero’s cap grants Kirby. This arrow fires like Toon Link’s normal one, but it will completely ignore any shields it strikes, going right through and hitting the opponent anyway!

-SirKibble

Toon Link + Ike

Toon Link + Ness = Flash Shot

Toon Link’s cap takes on the colors of Ness’ cap, granting Kirby a deadly projectile. Pulling out a bow, Kirby readies it with an arrow made of green energy. After charging, Kirby fires the arrow, and after it travels a set distance, it disappears! A moment later, it explodes like a PK Flash! If it hits anyone beforehand, they won’t get hit. Because of the range of this normally-devastating blast, it’s no longer as powerful when used like this.

A parka and a mask makes Kirby look a bit ridiculous, but it gives him a great move to use! He spins around, making a tornado like Meta Knight’s, only he can’t move around. The advantage now is that the tornado is freezing cold, blowing snow and ice around in it. Aside from being more damaging this way, the snow and ice also make the tornado a little bigger.

-SirKibble

Ice Climbers + Jigglypuff

Ice Climbers + Marth = Shield Freezer

Blue hair sticks out from underneath Kirby’s new parka, giving him this unique ability. Pulling out a hammer, Kirby whacks an ice block forward, just like the Ice Shot. It works the same way as a regular Ice Shot, too, unless it hits a shield, in which case the poor victim’s shield will be penetrated and they’ll be instantly frozen solid!

-SirKibble

Ice Climbers + Ike

Ice Climbers + Ness = PSI Freeze δ

What’s this? With Ness’ cap and the Ice Climbers’ parka, Kirby gets PK Freeze?! Well, sort of. This acts like Ness’ PK Flash at first, except that the glowing energy is now light blue instead of green. When the PK Flash is released, though, the explosion is accompanied by a blizzard of icy particles. Because of this, the flash shoots out icy chunks in every direction that travel a short distance before disappearing.

Kirby gains a full-body version of MK's mask and the ability to summon a Blade Knight or a Sword Knight. These knights, when summoned, will follow Kirby around to the best of their abilities, and occasionally lend their swords to the fight, although they're rarely there when you truly need them. There is no difference between the two except that they look different and Sword Knight can jab upwards and perform Link's Dair. They only have one mid-air jump, so try not to leave them behind. If you perform what would be a footstool jump off of one, it will grab onto your feet, enabling you to carry it upwards. Your jumping abilities are reduced, but at least you can save the little guy, right? Only one may be out at a time.

It launches forward, looking like a blue version of Meta Knight’s tornado, catching and damaging opponents it hits. Charging up makes the tornado go further forward before disappearing. The tornado also arcs upward at an angle determined by the charge. (more = higher)

-SirKibble

Meta Knight + Jigglypuff

Meta Knight + Marth = Sword Storm

Kirby sports Marth’s cool blue hair and Meta Knight’s mask for this combination. He’ll spin around just like Meta Knight’s tornado, but small blades spin within the tornado with him. The only effect of this, unfortunately, is that it makes the twister more effective at whittling shields away.

Meta Knight + Ike

Meta Knight + Ness = Flash Whirlwind

With Ness’ baseball cap and Meta Knight’s mask, Kirby gains a Neutral B of deadly proportions. Kirby whirls around in a tornado that’s basically the same as Meta Knight’s, though it doesn’t last as long, and isn’t as easy to move around. When it ends, the tornado disappears in a bright green flash that blows opponents still caught in it away.

Lucario + Marth = Invading Aura

Blue hair, blue fur, Kirby’s got this blue thing down! When using this attack, he’ll charge up an energy ball, just like the Aura Sphere, and he’ll fire it the same way. Instead of damaging on contact, however, the sphere will surround the victim, lingering around his or her frame for a while. While it remains, they’ll take constant damage from it every time they shield!

Lucario + Ike

Lucario + Ness = Pure Energy

Lucario’s ears can be seen sticking up underneath Ness’ baseball cap, but Kirby doesn’t seem to have a problem balancing. With this attack, he’ll charge up like he’s using Lucario’s Aura Sphere (though he looks like Ness’ during PK Flash while charging). Once you charge this attack, you can release it with a second press of the B button. When you do, Kirby will explode in a violent burst of green and blue energy! This is a powerful attack with a huge hitbox, but it’s very slow.

Marth + Ness = Shield Drain

Marth’s blue hair topped with Ness’ baseball cap sure makes Kirby look cool! The attack that goes with it is nice, too! Kirby stretches his hand out, making a small burst of green energy in front of him, like a PK Flash, but faster, and you can’t charge it for power. If it hits someone, instead of knocking them away, it will seep into them. For the next little while, their shield will now deplete at an alarmingly fast rate if they use it!

Whatever you say, Agi. I just shudder at how far I have to scroll down that accursed first page...

H_R: You wise guy! Ike has a big sword, he doesn't have bullets and lasers flying everywhere!

You only say that because YOU'RE the guy who made Bass...I'm on to you...

1) Bass was weak. And had low priority. And most moves wern't fast.

2)Who cares what the weapon is? Ike has the best melee range in the game, nothing but dijointed attacks, and the almost best power in the game. And back air was a fast option making him more deadly. Yet he's near the bottom end of the tier list. Why? BECUASE HE'S SLOW! What your statement should have read was "range and SPEED are a recipe for disater, regardless of other stats"

I know the Specials are not really interesting (something the King will suffer from, as well, because he won't have a whole lot of quotes in them), but the Red Clan and the Shingami Rush are directly taken from the game, I needed something which doesn't make Kirby broken for the Neutral Special and since Guntz isn't in the air in ANY of the games he appears in, I had to think of something fitting for a recovery - the grapple hook was born.

As for his power+range-issue - I think he is fairly balanced. His aerial game is not really working well because he has below average jumps, and is generally pretty sluggish. What Hyper_Ridley said, is true - he is similar to Ike (tho still different), Dedede or Snake - rather the latter than the first.

The Hunter Kick may look overpowered, but y'know... all sweetspotted moves are this. Besides, his is even HARDER to sweetspot than any other sweetspotted move, since you not only have to hit with the insanely tiny gun blast, but also have Guntz' leg in the way. So you have to hit horizontally AND vertically.

He generally is extremely sluggish, has misplaces hitboxes, is easy to punish and his projectiles aren't really that good, therefore he definitely is not overpowered. Except he'd get his Final Smash, then he'd may be overpowered.

On the whole, though, a terrific start to MYM 4 from you, and for the contest in general.
Thank you.

You know, Spade, I skimmed through Guntz to get a preivew for my review (won't be up till tommorow BTW), and he really doens't have many TRUE projectiles. A lot of them are like Snake's FSmash, they use a weapon but aren't actually shooting some long range bullet. That's not a criticism, I'm just saying, it's not like he's some campy projectile spammer.

I know, but that can easily be mis-interpreted to mean "projectiles". So I'm just pointing it out before people think that Guntz is filling the screen with flying Ike FSmashes.:laugh:

I hope Mach Rider is epic awesomeness. :)
Oh it is. It probably won't be posted for a while though, so don't get too excited. :lick: I'm waiting for this puppy to simmer down a few notches before I toss my hat into the ring

And about the blog: remember people, we're hosting reviews there, so to those of you who've already posted movesets...what are you waiting for?

I think I'll work on Breloom tomorrow. I parked my butt in front of the comp all day today drawing one of my new challengers:

Erutashi's hot father. Maybe I'll do him first, since I've got the reference.

Reason I'm hesitating is because I don't do my movesets in advance.

Well. Like your advices said, watch others post movesets before you post your first. You got the concept right. it is just you kind off copied directly of another yet still had minimum elaboration and organization. But remember. You can always work with it, Gold. Keep moving forward.

Hahaha, oh wow. Thank you for the praise. Glad you like him. ^_^

I'm actually quite happy that he was the first MYM 4 moveset. Him being on Page 1 will not only help his popularity, but he also was the opening moveset (even he won't be the first moveset to show up after agidius should edit his post).
Y'know what that means?

thx hyper ridley. not to be needy but can u also say what u think of the stage/music and codec?
The stage had a cool concept, though I'm confused as to why Sonic songs are in it. However, the codec gave me a good laugh, so good job in that regard.:)

And now I need to go, partially becuase I have to, and partially becuase I don't want to fill up half of this thread with my posts!:laugh: Look forwards to the General tommorow.

The Specials are fine. They're not boring by any means; they're just not as great as the rest of the set, which is actually really great. My only problem with the Hunter Kick is that it's a decent attack - very speedy - even without sweetspot. And the whole balance thing with Guntz is that he's slow.

Still, in general...

1) Bass was weak. And had low priority. And most moves wern't fast.

2)Who cares what the weapon is? Ike has the best melee range in the game, nothing but dijointed attacks, and the almost best power in the game. And back air was a fast option making him more deadly. Myeh. Ike is REALLY slow. And he lacks a projectile. Guntz didn't seem too slow to me, and his projectiles were really varied and diverse. Good for originality, but, at a glance, somewhat overpowered. He even has a few attacks that act as booby traps. Seems more like Snake to me than Ike.

Mind you, this does NOT mean broken. A character can be High Tier without being broken.

And why are you even listening to me? Every moveset I've made (possible exception of The Horseman) has been either underpowered or overpowered or both at once. :p

THIS SPACE RESERVED FOR BRELOOM

Breloom, the mushroom Pokemon, has joined the brawl!

Stats:

Size: 4/10 Breloom is about the same height as Mario.
Weight: 3.5/10 At 88 pounds, he gets knocked away fairly easily.
Power: 7/10 Breloom's attack stat is a mighty 130, and his moves reflect this.
Walk Speed: 5/10 Breloom hops along at a steady, normalpace.
Dash Speed: 6/10 The Pokemon's bounds cover a lot of ground, but he "kangaroo-jumps" slowly.
First Jump: 5.6/10 Pushing off with his tail, Breloom vaults a respectable distance into the sky.
Second Jump: 2/10 a deplorable attempt to push off thin air.
Range: 5/10 Sludge Bomb and Spore reach far, but everything else is close range.
Fall Speed: 8/10 with no drapey appendages to provide lift, Breloom falls like a rock.
Traction: 3/10 The Grass-type's "hooves" don't grip the ground very well.
Number of jumps: 2
Wall-kick: Yes
Wall cling: No
Glide: No
Crawl: No
Tether: Yes

Normal Attacks:

Neutral A: Jab - Breloom jabs out with his cloven left fist for a lightning-fast but super-weak hit.

A Twice: One-Two Punch - Follows up the Jab with an identical punch from the right fist.

Dash Attack: Headbutt - Breloom lunges forward and headbutts the enemy. In the rare case that the little red capsules on his head contact the head of the enemy - generally Headbutt hits the chest or abdomen - the enemy has a 50% chance of falling asleep on the spot for one full second. If it sweetspots, the attack does decent damage, but has high end lag. If not, it's faster but weaker.

Ledge Attack: Breloom climbs up and deals a slow, weak, stretchy punch to the victim's ankles.

Ledge Attack Over 100%: The Grass-type belly-flops up onto the stage and headbutts weakly, slowly.

Supine Recovery Attack: Breloom flicks his toxic tail upward as he rolls back into his fighting stance.

Prone Recovery Attack: The Mushroom Pokemon does a back kick as he gets back up.

~~~~~~~~~~
Forward Tilt: Mach Punch - Almost quicker than the eye can see, Breloom releases a punch at mach speed. In addition to being the fastest tilt in the game, Mach Punch also has very high priority, of the same caliber as Zelda's Up Smash. However, these assets are set off by its short one-Mario range and poor damage output: it never does more than 7%. Its main use is in canceling out enemy attacks.
Up Tilt: Stun Spore - Staying still, Breloom releases yellow spores from the seeds on his cap. It does no damage but stuns anybody above him in a party-ball-distributed hitbox. The victim(s) falls straight to earth in paralysis, the duration of the paralysis depending on how "fresh" Stun Spore is. If spammed over and over, it will fail to activate altogether.
Down Tilt: Tailspin - The Grass-type spins in place once, his tail dragging on the ground for low damage with long reach and one two status effects: There is a 5% chance of poison (similar to Lip's Stick, but instead of the stupid flowers the sufferer flashes purple) and a 5% chance to trip.
~~~~~~~~~~

Forward Smash: Focus Punch - This move's power is nothing short of awesome, rivaling a Warlock Punch (but, sadly, missing the cool purple flames). However, the caveat is heavy. This requires a full 25 seconds to execute, plus another 5 to cool down. If Breloom is hit or takes damage in any way during the warmup animation, the attack will be canceled and Breloom will take 5 seconds to recover. Obviously, this move is useless in one-on-one matches, and difficult even in multiplayer brawls, but the satisfaction of pulling one off and sending your opponent flying is great.

Up Smash: Vertical Jab - The stretchy, hooved fists rise straight up together in unison about 1.25 times Breloom's height, slowly but surely, to deliver a strong double punch. High lag on both ends limit its usefullness, as well as the fact targets can see it coming a mile away. You're better off shunning this one.

Down Smash: Iron Tail - The tail turns steel-hard and metallic, then, with a quick, fluid motion, slams into the enemy's face. The respectable damage and speed of execution make one of a Breloom main's bread-and-butter moves. Iron Tail does take some timing and practice to get right, though, because of its disjointed hitbox.

~~~~~~~~~~
Neutral Aerial: Fungus Roll - Breloom rolls into a ball, his tail curled under, and rolls three times in quick succession,for a weak juggle that executes quickly. If hit at least twice by the red, toxic berries on the Pokemon's tail, he or she will become poisoned (see Tailspin for explanation).
Forward Aerial: False Swipe - The Grass-type slashes halfheartedly with his front hooves. Although very strong, one of Breloom's stronger attacks, it has utterly no knockback, and can never, ever KO an oponent, not in a million years, not if the world depended on it. Its sole purpose is to build up damage, unless you think you're clever and want to use it for mindgames.
Back Aerial: Tail Club - With a mighty midair swing of his tail, Breloom deals high damage and a 2% chance of poisoning. The attack is slow, though, and leaves him freefalling (and fastfalling) until his hooves touch earth again. Better practice this one in training mode.
Up Aerial: Mega Kick - Breloom kicks high into the air. This is a sex kick, but it only does the heavy Damage Mega Kick is known for if the victim gets caught in the initial kicking motion. If hit after the leg has been fully extended, only 1% damage is dealt. Breloom lands on his duff , shakes his head flusteredly, and takes some time to get back into stance. This would be an appropriate time to use the Nelson "Ha-ha!"
Down Aerial: Poisonpowder - The Mushroom Pokemon lowers his tail, and from the capsules fizz out a purple cloud of toxic spores in a triangular distribution about the same as Porky/Pokey's light-shining maneuver from the Subspace Emissary. Anyone caught by these spores will become poisoned. As with Stun Spore, spamming this move will weaken it until it becomes completely ineffectual.
~~~~~~~~~~

Throws:

Grab: Breloom extends his stretchy limbs the length of a Home-Run Bat to catch his prey. This also functions as a tether recovery.

Grab Attack: He headbutts the enemy, pretty basic.

Forward Throw: Elastic Fling - Breloom's limbs stretch far as he slams the opponent against the ground to the left and to the right, then tosses them powerfully. This throw is very laggy due to the limb-stretching and slamming animations, but pays off with not-bad knockback and damage.

Back Throw: Cloven Rake - Breloom jumps up and before alighting pushes the foe backward along the ground using his claws/hooves. The damage it does varies with the terrain of the stage, concrete hurting more than grass for example. It does poor, poor knockback; unless you're somewhere like the Bridge of Eldin (bricks hurt!), don't use this.

Up Throw: Spore Geyser - The Grass-type throws the victim into the air, then looses from his cap spores with irritating chemicals in them, which catch and buoy the target, racking up around 10 damage, then spout him or her skyward.

Down Throw: Seismic Toss - Breloom picks up his opponent, jumps high into the air, and slams them down hard on the ground. This move always does 10% damage, regardless of spamming, mushroom effects, stickers, or anything else. However, it still can't hurt characters who are in an invincible state.

Special Attacks:

B: Sludge Bomb - Breloom leans forward and spits out a slow-traveling, slimy ball of purple toxic sludge that explodes upon contact and leaves a poisoning effect. A poisoned foe flashes purple and takes steady damage over time as if trounced with Lip's Stick. However, he or she cannot be frozen by freezing attacks, paralyzed, or put to sleep. The bomb and its blast do reasonable damage, but they can easily be reflected, dodged, or simply jumped over. Sludge Bombs cannot be stored, nor can Ness absorb them to recover damage (nice try).

B Forward: Thunderpunch - Breloom lets loose with an electrified punch. Quick as lightning (but not nearly as strong, since Breloom doesn't get STAB, i.e. damage boost from the Pokemon's type matching that of the move, from it), it cannot stun the opponent the way Stun Spore can. The hitbox is small, much smaller than the glowing-lightning visuals would lead one to believe, so keep that in mind. Due to STAB, this will also have the lowest priority of any electric attack in the game; a Lightning Kick, Thunder Jolt, or PK Thunder will stop it in its tracks.

B Up: Sky Uppercut - Breloom pumps his cloven fist into the air and rockets bolt-up into the air. Although it covers a good vertical distance, Sky Uppercut always launches at a 90-degree angle to the ground and, unlike Extremespeed, cannot be DI'd at all. The only way to move horizontally is to use DI after the attack ends - be quick, because Breloom falls fast. The attack proper works just like Luigi's Super Jump Punch, requiring a sweetspot to be of any offensive use. If it sweetspots, spores appear instead of flames.

B Down: Spore - Breloom hunkers down and lemon-yellow spores gush from the red capsules on his head, causing every man, woman, animal, robot, etc. within a soccer-ball-diameter of him to fall asleep. This is THE most accurate sleep move a Pokemon can have, and Breloom's down special reflects this. Like Seismic Toss, any non-invincible character will immediately fall asleep if within Spore's hitbox.

Miscellaneous:

Logo: Pokeball

Wii Remote Sound: "Breloooooom!" with the same inflection as the in-game cry.

Stage Entrance: Breloom pops out of a Pokeball.

Idle Stance: The Grass-type hops up and down in place the same way he does in the 3-D Pokemon games.

Idle animation 1: Breloom slams his tail against the ground impatiently.

Idle animation #2: Breloom stops and looks around. If he had ears, they would be pricked.

~~~~~~~~~~
Up Taunt: Breloom shakes and releases lime-green spores from his head capsules.
Down Taunt: Breloom spins around joyfully, his tail sweeping in a wide circle.
Side Taunt: Breloom fake-adjusts his cap with his tail.
Victory Pose 1: Breloom hops up and down excitedly with e "^^" expression on his face.
Victory Pose 2: Breloom touches the brim of his cap with his tail and smiles.
Victory Pose 3: Breloom is asleep, sitting cutely.
Loss Pose: Claps , eyes hidden under cap.
Costumes:
Default/Green Team: The colors portrayed at the top of this post.
Shiny/Red Team: The green changes to rusty red.
Blue team: The green turns to dark teal, the capsules become brown, and the peachy-colored parts are creamy white.
Toadstool: The green turns to red. The capsules are dark burgundy, and the rest is stark white.
To Unlock: Receive Classic and Final Smash trophies for Ivysaur OR have Breloom join you in the Subspace Emissary.
Subspace Emissary Role: In the forest, Breloom is seen foraging near the Pedestal of Time, oblivious to Link's approach. Startled by the Hero of Time, the mushroom Pokemon scatters spores from his tail. Link falls asleep in his tracks, the Master Sword sliding out of his hand. Breloom goes on his way until Subspace begins to rain from the sky. Frightened, he wakes up Link and Yoshi. Despite the Hylian's misgivings about aiding something that just drugged him to sleep, the three set off for the forest.
Snake Codec:
Snake: What is this thing? A kangaroo?
Otacon: No, that's Breloom. It delivers lightning-fast punches and toxic spores.
Snake: Seriously? It barely even has arms!
Otacon: No, no no! This sucker's front limbs stretch, and far.
Snake: The spores! Tell me about the spores. They're my real concern.
Otacon: Don't breathe 'em in, whatever you do. You could get paralyzed, put to sleep, or even poisoned!
Snake: A little hard to believe though. Just look at that big dumb grin on its face. Bet it doesn't have a mean bone in its body...
