I decided early on to basically cut all but 3 or 4 extras out of my own sets, though I'm actively trying to shorten the actual moves as well. My reasoning for this is basically: most of the characters people do here only have like one or two fans, so most of the time an author is just wasting their time writing up paragraphs upon paragraphs of "SSE Roles" and "Trophies" and "Wii Remote Sounds".

Nothing against people who are still doing all that, but I just think my 'sets will be better without the baggage, especially considering some of the characters I'm doing.

Hmm, this makes me wonder about the extras I plan for my future OC (in sig). They have a crapton of extras, plus a massive moveset with their two transformations. I wonder whether it will become the 'Donna' of MYM4 (Massive OC moveset).

I'm not really saying I want it to be that...but it might happen, as each move explains all the different effects of each move without sounding redundant. Plus, I'm the kind of guy who likes extras and likes to be as complete as possible. So I put efforts into extras as well.

I currently have only five extras that I'm including with my movesets, a couple of which are really basic ones that definitely don't take a paragraph.

-- Symbol (like the Triforce or the Warp Star). Simple and short. I'm considering leaving this one out when they're obvious, though (like with existing franchises).
-- Entrance. It's a fun one to think of and is generally pretty short.
-- Alternate Colors. Especially if I can actually get images, I'm gonna keep doing this.
-- Wii Remote Sound. Basically the same idea as the entrance. It's fun and easy.
-- Kirby Hat. Who doesn't like these? Again, actual images always make this even better.

Aside from that, I'm not including any. I also have a "Miscellaneous Animations" section that I'm probably going to drop, mainly because it's really freakin' long. I've got everything there from standing to jumping to freefall to shield... I may keep it and just list off those animations that are unique or important (like I may still do idle stances and I'll list important things like the fact that Poppy Bros. Jr. lies on his back to crouch), but I'm definitely trying to cut down on extras.

Stickers are pretty easy, I have the Prima Brawl guide, which lists the parts of each sticker (its effect, its size, who can use it, etc.), so it is just a lot of extra, albeit extra that doesn't increase the size of the moveset.

Event Matches are fun, believe it or not. I had fun with the one I have planned.

Oddly, when I see trophies, I usually just see a list. The only two I remember who wrote out a description was Mendez for Dracula (although it was more of a summarizing sentence than a description) and Warlord with Cervantes. And I didn't see any pictures at all.

Win. I thought about making an Ice Age Trio moveset consisting of Manny, Diego, and Sid. Although Manny is TOO BIG and they all have very limited source material. Sure, I could make a moveset that is different from other Brawlers with them but not one that is original. Scrat has to use his nuts in the moveset.

Maybe a Madagascar Quartet would be a good moveset?
