Maybe in the general sense. But in this game it's specifically being used to mean that Gheb is being considered for today's lynch by a significant number of people just due to the way he has played in several games, and not anything to do with anything he has done in this game.
Omni has drawn ire for this as well, and I've never liked it.

Don't like the Gheb situation much at all. I don't see it as very scummy that he got upset because someone said "let's lynch him because I don't like how he plays." I can kind of see where Kevin is coming from there, because Gheb's style and occasional cockiness can be distracting, but I don't see him as scummy and don't see why his reaction warrants a vote.
Need to elaborate more on this. How is it suspicious when I get defensive? 5 people claimed to be ready to lynch me toDay with no reason. How would you react? If they say I'm a terrible scumhunter then I use empirical evidence to show them wrong. What's defensive about it? How is it not a legit answer?
You were pushing for a quicklynch. You said "I want D1 to end asap" or something among those lines.
You still had a major impact in that little time.
Ronike's quote was from a different game. It was a joke and it wasn't even from this game.
How can I prove myself if you're always trying to kill my right off the bat? This is exactly the fallacy in your policy lynch play. The day is long enough and there's plenty of time to show that I easily deserve to be in the game D2. If you always bite my leg before the game even seriously starts it's hard to do though. If you were treated like that in your first games ...

Gheb, it didn't sound like you were joking in my game. Especially when you overlay that post with other posts you have made. But whatever. I just want you to stop being quite so arrogant, which seems to have succeeded.
Bros, we prolly shouldn't just insta lynch Gheb. I know its irritating to see someone come in and call all of us that have been here for long periods of time stupid, but there's no point in lynching him instantly and avoiding conversation that we could be having.

Omis: Occam's Razor means sometimes the most obvious answer is the answer. Ockham developed the idea, and the razor comes from the idea of shaving away all the extra assumptions and looking at what is left.
It's a good thing to use, but obviously not something to rely on incredibly heavily. Take it with a grain of salt and it can lead you to good places. Gheb D2 in my game was after Nick because he thought that nick killed kk because kk was arguing against him. This was the truth behind the kill, but not a reason to lynch him by itself, especially when you consider the chance for a setup. What should have been done was Gheb should have just noted it and carefully watch Nick for slip ups, instead of pressuring him into creating slip ups.

Second, everyone shouldn't quick lynch Gheb because of how he's played during previous games. Sure, he's had mishaps with his playstyle but you shouldn't hold it against him just yet. Once it becomes truly obvious that his playstlye is scummy, then lynch.

Just throwing out there that I am here, reading everything. I don't feel like joining any bandwagon because I can't find any plausible reasons so far. If anything, Nix's reactions have caught my attention a little, though he might be desperately wanting to prove he's not scum because he really wants Town to win?

Take a look at the posts before mine, what was being discussed? Nothing! It wasn't until afterward that people started discussing the whole Gheb issue that comes from another Game that I had no part of. So yea, I wanted Day 1 to end quickly because I'm fairly useless until I start seeing stuff happening in THIS game, not previous ones.
And if you guys want to talk about previous games, then considering the last game I was in I had to go through 4 pages of posts practically on Day 1 where people argued about Jesus and a cat or something -_- Prefer NOT having to go through that again!

If we aren't going to bandwagon someone, then the only option left is a no lynch. and while it would let the mafia scheme sooner we would at least get some more information from night actions for day 2.

Is there some sort of secret option outside of Lynch or No Lynch that I don't know about?
Do i have any scum tells? Not really no, and since most of your "scum tells" is coming from games you previously played before, it leaves me at a disadvantage, though any smart player would constantly change his play-style so that doesn't happen to them.
Does something standout? The fact that a few players want to lynch Gheb for something he did in a previous game sure stands out yea.
And don't EVER accuse me of not trying, at least im here posting unlike some other people =P
Because the sooner the night comes around the sooner they can start discussing their "plan of action" for winning the game.

Ace, I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't see how you have any idea about how gheb plays other than what you have seen thus far, and all you've seen here is Gheb getting defensive after ppl consider lynching him. Is that what you see as the problem in his playstyle?
I agree with Gheb, you are simply parroting what people say. I said I wanted those 3 people to post, and now you say it. Do you even know what my thought process behind that was? I say it Nix's play seems epicmafia-y and now than you say it. Have you ever even played on epicmafia -_-.
Your warning to gheb is what's really bothering me, you tell him you'll be watching him, for a fault that you don't even know what it is. You are providing no new input, and are seemingly attempting to coast through the day by just following what other people say. Not only is it annoying, but it is scummy. fos: you for that.
You do realize that we still have over 2 weeks left in the day phase right? You mentioned that people starting serious discussion with the Gheb thing, you don't think any more real discussion could take place in the next 2 weeks that might give you a better idea of who an actual good lynch would be?
