And yes there is a way for other people to use this, it just needs some tweaking.

edit: It turns out yeah that is poltergust, but the only way I found that out was everyone in that results thead kept talking about him leaving florida for texas, something I didn't know at the time. Everyone was calling him Polt lol

Maybe Polt was just a popular name? But then I figured since you probably changed a lot of joke names to the rightful people that it wouldn't be left like that.

Even I don't care about the capitalization/lack of in my name cause I switch around anyways on different games, lol.

Which way do you prefer? All of your entries except one have you all lowercase, but I can change that easily.

san is fine. It's just kind of weird since my original tag was SAN and I made a lowercase name to test out a secondary control method and loved it. Now I'm used to it.

My Guess is since WHOBO 3 doesn't have Pools that'd mean I wasn't added. If it somehow helps I got 4th seed.

For Polts results there's nothing missing. But Smash Con Queso was on 9/18/10, not 9/17/10

Yeah I forgot to take that off the list since it had MK banned. It's also not on John/Ripples list either, so I should've gotten a clue from that and not post that result on here.

Data has been updated. Character table now has an entry called Rating which is literally the character's points divided by its popularity.

As you can see Yoshi takes a big fall and Pokémon Trainer gets a huge boost.

There very well might be a better way of accounting for popularity but I'm still undecided on how to do it.

If you really want to represent a character, earning money for Ripple & John's data is far more important than doing ok with only low tiers. If you want to play high tiers, aim high.

Going to post a purely results based (accounted for popularity) tier list in the tier list thread using John's project and this for when money doesn't say enough.

Why not display a way to simply show progression over the weeks?

Kinda like my non-cumulative graphs, which, while they tend to be all over the place, can be used to show how a character has been doing recently.

Because it doesn't work for low tiers. Espy and Poltergust go to a tournament every other week, san and pink fresh go to a tournament less than once a month (on average). The low number of representatives would skew that to whoever has the most active players and not necessarily the most successful.

Aside from a spur-of-the-moment tournament that happened two weeks ago, I hadn't been to a tournament since perhaps March or April.

I haven't been to a tournament in almost four weeks now. It was due to certain circumstances, though.

My mistake on the first three, I meant to delete those but was too out of it to notice that I didn't and was too lazy to edit the post since I knew you'd already known that.

Also Laurel's Ragequit, I think you have Polt listed as "Sheik" when he used "Sheilda" against me.

Was going to put Raptor, but again he used Lucario for his tournament last Saturday... Also the Comic Con tournament (For me) was Sunday the 26th, not the 25th.

Does it make a difference if I didn't actually win a set as Lucario last Saturday?

It depends on what you mean. If the only games you won with Lucario were in sets you lost, then you can ignore it. However, if you won 1 game in a set you won with Lucario, even if you won the other game with Yoshi, then Lucario counts.

Yeah, I won one game but lost the same set to another Lucario.

If you win even one set with another character that isn't Low tier, it counts.
So say...

Set 1 = SV Yoshi vs MK
Set 2 = RC Lucario vs MK
Set 3 = FD Yoshi vs MK

Since you won game 2 with Lucario, it counts as you using him. If you lose sets with characters that aren't your main it won't be added to your name.

Raptor used Lucario on me and won a game doing so, in 1 of the 4 games we played(for some reason, they made us do a 3/5 set in loser's semis). Raptor used Lucario for 3 games and Yoshi for the 4th and lost the whole set.

And Raptor, you told me to "take notes on how to use Lucario" after you beat someone else with Lucario, remember?

But yeah, Raptor really just used Lucario in that tourney to fool around, because we were using really laggy TVs, and the tourney was mostly full of randoms. Just give him the benefit of the doubt and give him a pure Yoshi ranking on this one, alright?

I was out of the qualifying for pro brackets by 1 spot, losing to M2K, Xzax, and No-ID.

The people who got into the pro bracket were in place order:

Nasty- 33rd

Pink Fresh got 25th with both and
