This is exactly why blaming lag, while it does affect individual gameplay, does not hold water as an excuse for losing/winning (unless it's bad to the point where it's nigh unplayable). Both players get their timing and inputs jacked up by it.

I didn't use it as an excuse for losing. I used as an excuse for not playing as good as I usually do. Theres a difference. Not trying to john but it was PRETTY bad. A match froze at one point. But then continued.

@Hospes: It's defenetly a legit excuse, one player can be more use to lag than another. A character can be harder/eaiser to use in lag than others (ex: marth is much harder to use than meta knight online)

It's not too far of a leap in logic that when one says "I didn't play as well as I usually do" that it gets tied to a factor as to why they lost/whatever.
