I've finally had the time to do something like this. A Let's Play (for those who don't know) is pretty much a playthrough of a video game with commentary. I've tried making my own LP's before, but they always ended up in train wrecks. At the moment, I don't have a mic, and I'm in the mood to replay a game. So why not try something new for a change?
Many people have done LP's on forums before, and they're just as awesome as the ones you see on Youtube. Just throw in some screenshots, some text to commentate it, and you've got it. They're also a lot easier than the recorded ones. Hopefully this LP won't die until I completely finish the game; when I say completely, I mean play through the entire game, and catch all the Pokemon from the Kanto Pokedex (except for Mew, which I'll skip).
Me playing the game alone is boring, eh? Well, that's when you guys come in. As I play through the game, anybody can go ahead and post their ideas for nicknames, Pokemon in my party, moveset suggestions, and anything else you guys think will help or cause lulz. That's what a LP's for, right?
Please start posting your thoughts on this. If you want, you can recommend Pokemon you want on my team, and the nicknames they should have. Remember that Fire Red has some Pokemon Leaf Green doesn't, but is also lacking a few Pokemon Leaf Green has. I'll begin Chapter 1 either soon or tomorrow night. I started this thing a little late.
