That sounds cool! I think it's a clever idea to keep basic ones in there - for instance, a Pokemon that's flying shouldn't be able to be hit by attacks like Earthquake that only affect the ground - but badges seem like a cool way of handling the whole weapon system.
We need movesets still and I think I know what to do to fix that

Job 12 Create a Moveset Template

I think a variation of the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity system could work quite well. Allow me to demonstrate with Lucario as an example.

In this example, it would play much like Age of Calamity - with characters being able to have a different number of attacks overall. For instance, Lucario is a character who I can imagine would have a wide string of comboes, but a character that doesn't have as many comboes might only have 6 consecutive regular attacks, as well as 5 strong attacks. These attacks, for the most part, can be based on actual moves that the Pokemon can use - for example, I imagine one of Lucario's Combo Enders could be Sky Uppercut, a move that would work a little like a Shoryuken in appearance.

It is also possible to activate a Special Attack (seen in a small meter) by pressing X alone, as well as instigate a Unique Action by pressing ZR (with each Unique Action being, as the name suggests, unique to the character.) Furthermore, every character will have a unique Dash Attack, which is activated by pressing Y whilst sprinting, and Weak Point Smashes - being specialised attacks that your character can perform upon opponents once they are weakened, that deal massive damage. Holding ZL will auto-target your character onto the nearest large opponent.

In the example I've given for Lucario here (this isn't a moveset submission, by the way, just a rough concept,) I've sort of pictured his moveset focusing on his Aura mechanic for his more powerful moves, such as Aura Sphere and Focus Blast. Essentially, he would have a specialised "meter" that would indicate his current Aura. Then, using Aura-based moves will take this meter down. Whilst you can still use all of your moves without any Aura at all, some (such as the aforementioned Aura Sphere and Focus Blast) will have significantly smaller or weaker hitboxes, and you'll deal less damage overall. However, having Aura in your meter will result in all of your attacks getting a passive damage boost, though each attack you make will slightly drain your Aura Meter. As a result, it's important to monitor your Aura Meter - so holding ZR will have you charge your Aura by meditating, though you have to remain still in order to do it. Again, I wish to stress this is just an example, so not an actual submission.

I feel like I've forgotten a few aspects here, but this is at least a basic idea of how it would work. Feel free to add anything you think needs adding, and criticise as needed!

That's a good moveset idea, could you possible convert that into a blank template so that if you win people could copy and paste the template and make moveset jobs more organized as a result
I believe we need to work the combat system. It feels weird submitting without it.
We have a job currently open for submitting moveset templates and the like, as long as you follow the rules you can submit one if you like

A Weak Point Smash is an attack that can only be performed on bosses in a downed state. Bosses can include characters specifically designed to be bosses, Elite fodder, and other playable, though enemy, characters on the field. Unlike other enemies, Bosses have a "weak point gauge," which takes the form of a small indicator above their head. After comitting to powerful attacks, a Boss will reveal the gauge, at which point it is key to approach and attack them whilst they are vulnerable. A Downed State will occur when the Boss's weak point gauge is reduced to zero, at which point it is possible to activate the attack (which cannot be done at any other time.) It will deal massive damage to an enemy.

A Unique Action, as the name suggests, is an action wholly unique to that specific character that may or may not take the form of an attack. For example, in the case of Lucario as I suggested earlier, the Unique Action would allow him to charge his Aura, but doesn't act as an attack on its own. A character's "gimmick" will often be represented here, but characters who don't have a gimmick may have a special attack here, usually taking the form of some sort of long-range projectile.

Ah so Unique Actions would be like Charizard's flight or Toxicitry's two forms, I think this template is possibly a great template for creating a moveset for these Pokemon

If you dont have a template Pokelego999 Pokelego999 could we use this template as our moveset template since your the only other regular.

Here is some information on a potential badge system based off this moveset template, please give feedback.
Badges are special augmentations that can be used to change a part of a Playable Character's abilities, some augmentations can be used by all Pokemon, some can only be used by Pokemon of a specifictype such as winged or heavy Pokemon, while a few can only be equipped by a single Pokemon

Their are many different types of Badges

CM: Short for Converter Machines these disks can change properties of certain moves such as making projectiles bigger and slower or give attacks shockwave properties, the more specific the CM is the more likely its esclusive to certain Pokemon

Charms: Guves Pokemon passive buffs, defense, or immunity to certain attacks, acts as armor of sorts as they also affect stats. For more esclusive Charms they also change a Pokemon's special abilities.

Feilds: Auras that gives allies passive buffs or enemeis debuffs can also change the wheather fir certain ones.

Scrolls: Reoalces a Pokemon's Meter Attack when equipped, you can only equip one at a time.

Each Pokemon can only equip 4 Badges but as they level up they can equip a max of 8 different badges, some are incompatible for each other but for the most part it encourages experimentation.

This Pokemon can freely switch form between two forms – focusing on either Electric-type, or Poison-type, attacks! It even seems to have differing moods depending on its form – but shared between them both is a passion for punk rock.

Regular Attacks
Dash Attacks
In Amped Form, Toxtricity enters a knee slide, shocking the ground around it as it throws up its hands triumphantly in a rocker pose, catching opponents to the side in the electrical damage. This isn’t really based on anything in particular, but could perhaps have a resemblance to Wild Charge, a move that can be given to both forms in the form of a TM.

In Low-Key Form, Toxtricity enters a knee slide, looking down as it strums its scales in style. The slide itself leaves a trail of poison that stays in place for a couple of seconds after the move, and the strum creates a small wave around it that deals small damage to enemies. This could be a reference to Sludge Wave, a move that can’t actually be learned by Toxtricity in game, but is a Poison-type move.

Combo Strings
Amped Form
Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y: These attacks simply consist of Toxtricity swinging his left hand, then his right hand, then spinning around with both hands out once, then kicking forward with his right foot, stomping downward, and throwing his head backward as it strikes a pose. The last move has a small electrical field around it, but these moves aren’t really based on anything in particular – rather, they’re just based on the punk-rock aesthetic of the Pokemon in question. All of these moves have electrical damage, but only the last one can cause Paralysis.
Y-X: The final attack has it throw its head forward, shocking opponents in front of it in reference to the move Spark, a move that can be learned by Toxtricity from Level 1.
Y-Y-X: The final attack has it leap forward, coating itself in electricity in the process, and strike a powerful pose. This is a loose reference to the move Wild Charge, which can be given to both forms in the form of a TM.
Y-Y-Y-X: The final attack has it spin around, firing 6 medium-sized balls of electricity around it. This is in reference to Thunder Ball, a move that can be learned by both forms in the form of a TM.
Y-Y-Y-Y-X: The final attack has it slam its hands into the ground, quickly creating a trio of storm-clouds above them that strike lightning downward, hitting nearby enemies. This is in reference to the move Thunder, which can be given to both forms in the form of a TM.
Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-X: The final attack has it “strum” the scales on its chest, letting off a wave of electricity in front of it, based on Shock Wave – a move that can be learned by levelling up to Level 8 or above.

Low-Key Form
Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y: These attacks are, in terms of animations, identical to Amped Form. They consist of Toxtricity swinging his left hand, then his right hand, then spinning around with both hands out once, then kicking forward with his right foot, stomping downward, and (the only one that differs,) throwing his head forward as it strikes a less striking, but still cool, pose. The last move has a small poison field around it, but these moves aren’t really based on anything in particular – rather, they’re just based on the punk-rock aesthetic of the Pokemon in question. All of these moves have Poison-type damage, but only the last one can cause the Poison effect.
Y-X: This final attack has it manifest a ball of sludge in its right hand, covered in gas, and toss it forward. The ball explodes on contact with an opponent or the ground, and the resulting explosion leaves a large puddle – which stays in place for a short time after the attack ends. This move is based on the move Venom Drench, a move that can be learned natively by both forms at Level 20.
Y-Y-X: This final attack has it stamp forward with its arms crossed, as small drops of poisonous sludge fire in front of it, dealing flinching damage for each one, but surprising damage if an enemy is caught by all of the drops. This is in reference to Poison Jab, a move that can be learned by both forms in the form of a TM.
Y-Y-Y-X: The final attack has it spin around, firing 6 medium-sized balls of sludge around it. They explode in small waves upon contact with an enemy or the ground, and the resulting puddles stay in place for a short time after being thrown. This is in reference to Sludge Bomb, a move that can be learned by both forms in the form of a TM.
Y-Y-Y-Y-X: The final attack has Toxtricity step up, screaming – but instead of soundwaves, poisonous sludge comes out of his mouth, spraying in front of him from side to side. This attack is based on the move Acid Spray, a move that can be learned by both of Toxtricity’s forms natively at Level 1.
Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-X: The final attack has it “strum” the scales on its chest, letting off a wave of poisonous gas in front of it, based on Venoshock – a move that can be learned by using a TM.

Special Attacks
Weak Point Smash:
In its Amped Form, Toxtricity manifests a guitar from pure electricity in reference to its Gigantamax form, leaping forward and violently swinging it downward into the opponent’s head, dealing massive damage as well as an automatic Paralysis effect!

In its Low-Key Form, Toxtricity also manifests a guitar, but this one is made up purely of poisonous gas. Leaping upward, it swings the guitar sideways as it breaks apart, coating the opponent in the gas in question – dealing quite big damage, but also dealing an automatic Poison effect and leaving the cloud in question active for a time, still able to deal damage to opponents who find themselves within it!

Meter Attacks (X):
Amped Form’s Meter Attack is based on the move Overdrive, and has Toxtricity manifest a guitar out of pure electricity – playing it loudly enough to create a shocking field all around it (and having a passive Sound effect.) All enemies caught in the field are affected with Paralysis.

Low-Key Form’s Meter Attack is loosely based on the move Sludge Wave, though functions nearly identically to the Amped Form’s Meter Attack – Low-Key manifests a guitar using blue-purple electricity, playing it loudly enough to create a wave that moves outward from it, consisting of poisonous purple sludge. Any enemy caught in the wave is inflicted with Poison.

Unique Action (ZR): This Unique Action will have Toxtricity switch between its Amped and Low-Key Forms. Notably, the two Forms actually have slightly different movesets, too! These are listed below:

The Amped Form is faster and has more attack power, but lacks defence skills. Notably, it uses Electric-type attacks – meaning strong attacks done when in the Amped Form have a chance to inflict Paralysis on opponents, locking them in place for a short time, unable to attack or move.

The Low-Key Form, however, is slower and has less attack power, but has great defensive power. It uses Poison-type attacks, and strong attacks when in the Low-Key Form have a chance to inflict Poison on opponents, which deals small, incremental damage over a long period of time. Interestingly, enemies who are afflicted by Poison also take extra damage from Toxtricity’s attacks as long as Poison is active.

Other Info
General Playstyle/Archetype: Toxtricity is interesting in that it has two alternative forms, being a stance-change fighter. When in its Amped Form, it is a rather fast rushdown fighter – excelling at getting in the face of opponents and striking them close up, especially by inflicting them with Paralysis and hence leaving them open to intense punishment. However, the Low-Key Form is a more methodical trapper archetype – being slower than Amped Form, but able to place traps and build up damage over time with decisive, strong hits. Whilst it’s not so great at going straight at opponents, it can take more punishment due to its higher level of defence, and is better suited to playing carefully, using its tools to control the area around it.

I think Trevenant would be a brilliant Elite Pokemon for some sort of haunted area, maybe a Ghost-based location like a haunted house. Being a haunted tree, it's able to tank a lot of hits, but it's also quite slow as a result. It would use the moves listed below:

Seed Bomb: Trevenant leans forward, firing large seeds out of its "eye." These seeds explode in a small flash of darkness when they hit either the ground or an opponent, and can stun an opponent that they hit.
Razor Leaf: Trevenant spins its midsection around at high speeds, with the razor-sharp leaves on its arms acting as a weapon of sorts as it lurches forward in a straight line! However, being that it's a more powerful attack, it needs a lot of windup and leaves a lot of end-lag too.
Vine Whip: Trevenant digs its lower half into the ground, before sprouting large roots all around it from the ground! The roots can grab you if you get too close, squeezing you a couple of times before letting you go as Trevenant hops back out of the ground!

One of Sun and Moon's Ultra Beasts, Buzzwole is an incredibly muscular bug-like Pokemon, with Pokedex entries suggesting that it could "pulverize a dump truck with a single punch." Being that it's so incredibly strong, it has to be quite slow to counteract this - but it's got a fast sprint, using its bug-like wings to fly just a little above the ground (though not literally flying.) I also think that a specialised move in the form of Bulk Up - where it gets a huge short-term boost to its attack power, in exchange for having to wait for a meter to charge up in order to do so, would work really well to make this the true brawler of the group. Not only that, but its unusual legs - being four pointed legs as opposed to a bipedal structure - also gives Buzzwole a unique form of movement, perhaps even being able to freely walk sideways or backward whilst targeted on an enemy!

Stage Name: "Haven" Greenhouses

This was originally a facility designed for scientific research, but since then it's become a home for Bug-type Pokemon of all kinds that's completely made up of large glass domes and small corridors between the individual ones. It's actually quite possible to actually go for a unique visual design here - as each one would be able to contain various jungle-based biomes. My idea for the layout is shown on the map below:

The circles all represent various domes. The central dome is by far the largest, having a basic, jungle-like appearance. One side has a large waterfall and a rocky cliff that you can climb up to fire from above! Then, the smaller domes are based on different aspects of the jungle - one is based on a swamp-like region, one is completely made up of lillypads on a large lagoon surrounded by trees, and the other two are basically very similar to the main dome, but slightly smaller.

The squares are actually laboratories, that have large windows able to see into the other domes, as well as corridors between them all, and the gates take the form of rudimentary airlocks. Notably, however, the laboratories themselves aren't very scientific, and don't use computers - but look more like Victorian libraries, packed with books. The actual laboratory is implied to have originally been built by humans, but because of the lack of human presence, it became a haven for Bug-type Pokemon due to the climate inside - which isn't replicatable anywhere else in Ragrok.

The reason I suggest this is because the laboratory would likely be a place where people could do research on Bug-type Pokemon - with the rainforest in real life being absolutely packed with bugs, I think it would be a really cool thing to see - especially by combining this cool lore-based aspect to the whole place! In terms of lore, I think it could be a good idea to have the Rampaging Regigigas come dangerously close to destroying this place - which would displace thousands of Bug-type Pokemon, meaning it's in the best interest of all involved parties to try and help them. The protagonist party will then gain access to the Bug-type Pokemon here as part of their forces, as a token of thanks for saving their home.

Sorry that last text was supposed to come later but it got sent too soon, now that's the text I intended to send.

Anyway Moveset Jobs are open using the new template and new jobs are open, you dont need to make the attacks based off official moves but at least describe what they do and what special abilty this particular Pokemon has.

Job 13
Submit an Elite Pokemon
Basically Boss Pokemon, these Pokemon are tougher to defeat and are more advanced, describe the Pokemon, what it does, and other info, no pseudo legendaries.

Job 14
Submit a Bug Type Playable Pokemon
Same as the normal type job, submit a Bug Type Pokemon as a Playable Character, describe how it would play and why it should be included, Genesect is not allowed.

Job 15
Submit a Bug Type Battlefeild
Same as the Normal Type Battlefeild, create a location in Ragrok themed around the Bug Type that acts as a Battlefeild, describe layout, gimmicks, potential story importance, and other information.
Elite Pokemon: Parasect

Parasect is a powerful Bug/Grass Pokemon. In battle, it is summoned in with a horde of Paras to aid it. Parasect will stand at the center of the horde, and shake it's body around, spraying various spore and powder types everywhere in the horde, with the spores hitting random portions. A red indicator will mark where they land. It will randomly select one at a time.
Spore: Puts the player to sleep if it hits them. Upon being hit, the player will wake up.
Stun Spore: Slows the player's movement and time taken to execute moves for several seconds before wearing off
Poison Powder: If it lands, deals slight Poison damage chip over time for 10 seconds. Poison cannot kill the player.
Rage Powder: Draws the player close to Parasect, allowing Parasect to freely deal one hit before the player snaps out of it.
Going near Parasect itself is risky, as it's Toxic barrier is built up around it by Paras. It will do severe chip damage compared to normal Poison, and if the player stands too long there, they risk dying. While the barrier is up, Parasect will attack any player who comes near with Slash, which will send them recoiling back. When the Toxic barrier is down, which is done by defeating all the Paras, Parasect will go to fight the player directly, with the following attacks:
X-Scissor: Parasect's claws turn green, and it goes into an X formation. It proceeds to ram towards the player, stopping after a set distance or if the player moves out of the way.
Energy Ball: Parasect's main attack when the enemy is far away from it. It will chuck a ball of green plant based energy at the player. Upon impact, it will deal damage.
Flash: Stuns the player for a brief moment, allowing Parasect to strike
Cut: A weaker version of Slash. It is a basic slash that does not do as much damage.
Seed Bomb: Summons explosive seeds, which will rain down on the surrounding area, with red circles indicating where they'll land.
Upon defeat, Parasect will fall onto it's back and go into a typical bug death pose (not actually dead), being defeated.

Playable Bug Type:
Scizor

Scizor is a Gen ll Bug type, evolution of Scyther, and now a Bug/Steel type. It's got speed, range, and power, everything you want of a fast cleaner, but it's bulk is not too good, meaning ranged hits especially do it in. On close quarters, it is an impeccable fighter. It also flies slightly above the ground, but is counted as land born. It's special move is Agility. With it, Scizor gets a massive speed boost, being among the fasted land fighters in the game. However, it's defenses are drastically reduced, meaning it has to be used well.

I'm not that good with this moveset template, but how Scizor works is that it is focused on getting as many enemies knocked out as possible, and uses move that send it forward in specific directions (E.g, Bullet Punch, X-Scissor, U-Turn, Reversal, and Pursuit) and moves that are AoE (E.g, Night Slash, Brutal Swing, Struggle Bug, Tailwind, False Swipe.) It would also use moves like Metal Claw, Brick Break, Double Hit, Superpower, and Bug Buzz.

String Hive
A hive in the trees covered in string and string dust and all that. Vision is partially obscured by a fog, and the floor is covered in honeycomb like structures.

The player's group would visit here in order to investigate a Bug Pokemon going rogue in the area, and forcing nearby Pokemon to fight against intruders. Upon defeating them, they would assist the player later down the line in fighting Regigigas.

Generation 6
This Ice type Pokemon is the purest definition of a TANK, this has mountains of HP and has respectable defense, the problem it's slow as molasses so it relies on allies to assist its slowness. That dosnt mean its pathetic as Avulugg can realse an aura cause a full scale blizzard, which can chip off hp for enemy Pokemon which is you, especially flying Pokemon, aside from that it can also use Earthquake and Ancient Power.

Butterfree
Generation 1
Bug/Flying

A classic Bug Type all the way from Gen 1, Butterfree is a moth esc Pokemon, this makes it our first Flying Pokemon alongside Charizard, Butterfree would be a zone using its wings to create gale force winds to push opponents away or spread scales from its wing which induce poison, sleep, or paralyses, however it has low hp and can't tank a few powerful hits.

Bug Type Battlefeild
Hive Terrace
This place is a giant beehive housing various Bug Type Pokemon from Combee, Beedrill, Illumise, and Voltbeat, with a Vespiqueen as a well queen, all above a giant tree. Hive Terrace resembles a beehive with hexagonal chambers and honey puddles but supersized, however this place is also a key trading post.

In the Ragrok region Flying Pokemon act as scouts and traders and this is their hubs, this market is where traders share mail and goods, And all of this in this giant beehive.

In this arena the level is separated into hexagon shaped and the honey adds less traction to grounded Pokemon, all the while traders and scouts need help in escort which gives a bonus objective.

I'm making a Charizard later.

This loudmouth Pokémon seems to have a love for making noise in any way possible! Tending to want to be the centre of attention, you’ll often find him stamping his feet when he doesn't get the chance to speak... it seems he really wants to be noticed.

Regular Attacks
Dash Attacks: Loudred trips on his own feet and falls forward, biting down in the process and hitting any enemy in front of him. This is a loose reference to the move Bite, a Dark-type move that Loudred is able to learn natively at Level 1 in SWSH.

Combo Strings:
Y-Y-Y-Y-Y: Given Loudred isn’t exactly a very physically able Pokémon, his basic string isn’t particularly notable in terms of damage. It starts with a swing of his right arm (in reference to Pound), followed by a bite (in reference to Bite) – then a large stomp (in reference to Stomp), a swing of his left arm (technically also in reference to Pound), and lastly a quick screech that damages all around him in a short radius (in reference to his various sound-based moves.)
Y-X: The final attack in this string has Loudred violently jump into the air and stomp on the ground, which deals most damage to enemies directly below him but also deals some to enemies nearby. This is in reference to the move Stomp, but more directly than in his Normal string.
Y-Y-X: The final attack in this string has Loudred leap backward, before screaming in front of him and to both sides, creating a small sound-based projectile that can bounce off enemies it hits as well as walls and other obstacles. Whilst this is based on Loudred’s various sound-based attacks, it isn’t based on a specific one – moreso on the scientific principle of echolocation.
Y-Y-Y-X: The final attack in this string is interesting, in that it’s not actually an AoE attack. Instead, Loudred steps forward and violently bites in front of him, which deals most damage close up to him, though still does damage to opponents slightly further away. This move is in reference to Crunch, a Dark-type move that can be learned by Loudred’s evolution Exploud through evolution in SWSH.
Y-Y-Y-Y-X: The final attack in this string is a large area of effect wave around Loudred, in reference to the move Echoed Voice – a move that Loudred can natively learn at Level 57 in SWSH. In keeping with the reference, however, it’s possible to maintain this move – by tapping X again whilst the attack is occurring, a second, smaller wave will occur. You can tap X up to 5 times with this final attack, but each resulting wave will get smaller and less powerful. Interestingly, all of these waves can inflict the Confused effect on opponents – but it becomes less likely as each wave continues.

Special Attacks
Weak Point Smash: Loudred leaps forward, biting heavily down on the opponent before jumping back up and screaming loudly at them – automatically inflicting the Confused effect onto them, and dealing massive damage. This, as with other moves, is a loose reference to moves such as Bite and Supersonic.

Meter Attacks (X): Based on the move Boomburst (which can be learned by Loudred’s evolution Exploud at Level 72 in SWSH) combined with Earthquake, Loudred looks upward and shouts extremely loudly – cracking the earth around him in the process and creating massive spikes from the ground that hit opponents! Not only this, but this move automatically puts opponents in the Confused state.

Unique Action (ZR): Based loosely on the non-damaging move Supersonic, a move that Loudred can naturally learn at Level 36 in SWSH, this has Loudred stamp his feet around, dealing no damage to his opponents. However, it builds up a “rage” meter of sorts. This meter constantly goes up, but notably it actually decreases whenever Loudred attacks an opponent, or gets hit by one, making it unusual for a meter like this. When it reaches a full state, it allows Loudred to shout incredibly loudly, creating a beam-like shockwave that he can aim around him, which appears similarly to Hyper Beam combined with Supersonic. This automatically puts any enemies caught in it in a Confused state. Interestingly, the beam in question is automatically reflected by any wall or obstacle it hits, in reference to the scientific principle of echolocation – and as a way to cover even more ground in certain situations.

Other Info
General Playstyle/Archetype: Loudred is quite an interesting character in this game in that most of his stats are, to be honest, middle of the road. He’s slightly below average in terms of speed, but above average in terms of both attack and defence. Interestingly, his moveset makes him particularly good at crowd-control – having a lot of sound-based area-of-effect attacks to his name, he’s able to take on entire swathes of enemies quite well alone!

Interestingly, he’s also surprisingly effective against larger bosses – his most powerful attacks have a chance to inflict the Confusion effect on enemies – which, in this game, has opponents unable to attack, but able to move, as well as debuffing their defence as long as the effect lasts. However, due to his more AoE nature, he doesn’t have access to as many combos as other characters, which can make it difficult to create mixups. Not only this, but his more powerful attack actually rewards him for not interacting – which suggests that his personality is a very self-centred one, wanting to be the focus of the room – though his AoE potential makes him a potential powerhouse, meaning it's key to try and balance these attributes to exploit Loudred's greatest potential.

The lord of the flames, Charizard is a terror of both the skies and ground. Many Pokemon quake to his mighty rage and even his allies are wary of him. However Charizard himself just wants to settle down and run a bakery.

Regular Attacks

Dash Attack: Charizard does a move resembling Flare Blitz, he glides in a wave of fire that can push away various combatants.

Combo Strings
(These are the types of possible combos you can do)

Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y :Charizard scratches forward with his claws, as the combo goes on his claws become more and more fiery before ending in a mini explosion.

Y-X: Charizard uses a move resembling Bite to take out enemies grouped in front of him.

Y-Y-X: Charizard stomps the ground to cause a rock to rise and launch everyone up, kinda like Rock Smash.

Y-Y-Y-X: Charizard swaps his claw swipes with his flaming tail which he spins in a small fiery tornado.

Y-Y-Y-Y-X: Charizard creates a mini flamethrower that attacks anyone in a semi long distance.

Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-X: Charizard creates an explosion that causes puddles of lingering fire to appear at both of his sides.

Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-X: Charizard creates a giant fireball that explodes into a large pillar that launches everyone upwards.

Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-X: Charizard grabs the nearest troop and slides him across the ground which can be slightly manipulated, ending with Charizard launching the unfortunate troop in a fiery projectile that can stun Elite Pokemon

(All fire based attacks cause burn which causes damage over time and damages you more if you attack faster, meaning you need to wait it out or find water sources to stop it)


Special Attacks

Weak Point Smash: Charizard flies up and summons various fire meteors which attack the Elite Pokemon causing it burn, this also creates fire puddles around the area the attack was initiated.


Meter Attacks (X): Charizard bathes himself in fire and becomes a walking inferno, he now moves faster, flies better, and has unlimited and incredibly buffed fire breath.

Unique Action (ZR): Fight and Flight: Charizard when using the action button takes flight, this makes him a Flying Pokemon which are faster and go over bottomless pits but have less defense and are more vulnerable to Hailstorms, Sandstorms, and similar weather phenomena. In this form Charizard can press the Y button for a flamethrower attack which is good for cornering enemies and the X button for a chargeable fireball attack that takes out more of the fire meter in exchange for being more powerful. He has a special meter that will go down when he uses a fire breath attack in this form and so balancing is key.

Other Info

General Playstyle/Archetype: Charizard is a good pick for those who want to try out Pokemon who have great potential in power. His fire attacks are a good source of crowd control and his other attacks mix speed and strength for a reliable moveset.

Charizard's main weakness is that being foolish makes him vulnerable. His powerful attacks may be strong but they can be easily punished due to slow end lag. And flying may be a faster movement option but his limited ammo and the new vulnerabilities of being a flying Pokemon can give some surprises. Overall easy to learn but hard to master.

I had a surprisingly fun time with this moveset, maybe I'll do another one

There's definitely some good options there.
We already have Pikachu, Charizard, Greninja, and Lucario, I was going to add Gardevoir as well but that would of been too many base roster Pokemon, while iconic Pokemon are welcome I also think having some obscure or underated Pokemon represented would make it a distinct roster.

Greninja has been training since he was a young Froakie to be an elite ninja. Using everything in the ninja book from shurikens to smoke bombs Greninja is a force to be reckoned with.


Regular Attacks

Dash Attack: Greninja rides a giant water shuriken like a surfboard forward, can be manipulated slightly left or right.


Combo Strings (Alter as necessary - the character can have up to 8 Y-attacks in a string)

Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y: Greninja creates a short sword out of water that comes out of its elbow which it uses to swipe rapidly across the battlefield.

Y-X: Surrounds himself in a small water pillar that can launch a few enemies up.

Y-Y-X: Launches a small cluster of water shurikens that come from multiple angles.

Y-Y-Y-X: Creates a smoke bomb out of icy mist that not only warps him but leaves behind a slippery puddle.

Y-Y-Y-Y-X: Spins rapidly and launches water shurikens in all angles.

Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-X: Rises himself inside a water geyser before causing a watery shockwave that pushes everyone back.

Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-X: Creates a giant shuriken pulled by a rope of water and spins around like a saw blade all around the battlefield.

Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-X: Jumps backwards and launches giant shurikens in the ground, these act as proximity mines that can create an ice explosion that freezes anyone nearby.


Special Attacks

Weak Point Smash: Launches several shurikens at the enemy that hit several contact points, causing the enemy to go to sleep.

Meter Attacks (X): Creates several clones of itself that home in on the nearest enemy before exploding into a watery explosion.

Unique Action (ZR) Sneaky Stealth: Greninja can turn invisible which makes him impossible to detect, he can do a stealth attack to an Elite Enemy to paralyse it or at the cost of the entire meter running out create an exploding clone with a large blast radius, this has a meter that goes down and will become normal Greninja when it runs out.


Other Info

General Playstyle/Archetype: While having some divergence from his source material such as the use of ice moves, Greninja perfectly encapsulates what makes a good ninja. Those elements being stealth, speed, and agility. However Greninja is also frail and his main attack is quite weak, and he is vulnerable to poisons and paralyses. Despite this using Grenjnja's stealth and speed correctly can be a great opportunity to do some damage.

Two things

Entires for the current jobs are almost done

I forgot to close the polls and Tsareena has more votes than Toxicitry, I'm not removing Toxcitry but I want to know what should I do, as it was my original plan to include both but I thought that wouldn't be too exciting so I made a poll

They're both original enough in both concept and design, and could bring interesting character to the game as a whole, as well as filling out the roster a little. However - I will not stand in the way of democracy, so if Toxtricity needs to be removed then so be it :)

I think 35 characters is a solid idea for a title like this, and having at least one of each type would be good too! Legendaries and Mythicals are also pretty cool to see too - sounds like a hella good shout!

I'd like to ask, do you think it would be a good idea to have DLC as well? DLC usually adds a slight extension to the story, as well as a few characters - I think it would be cool to think about (of course, after completing the roster and story.)

Yeah my plans for DLC would include Dynamaxing as a mechanic definitely

This fashionista Pokemon prides herself on a mix of beauty, grace, and power. Honing her legs to perfection, she uses them deftly and powerfully in combat – so much so that even enemies are mesmerized and afraid of her in equal measure!

Regular Attacks
Dash Attacks: Planting her hand into the ground, Tsareena does a cartwheel, kicking out of it with both legs and landing stationary on the ground.

Combo Strings:
Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y: Leaping forward, Tsareena does a roundhouse kick with her left foot, stepping forward to jab forward with her right foot, and then flip over, kicking above and behind her. Readying herself, she then does a quick spin, sticking her leaf-like hair out as well as her arms, then followed by another roundhouse, kicking first with her right foot, then again with her left – maintaining the spin for her final attack, having her spin violently enough on one foot to be similar to a ballerina, beginning to move upward before posing in the air and falling back down! These moves are mostly based on Tsareena’s generally kick-based physical nature, as well as a loose reference to the move Razor Leaf.
Y-X: The final attack of this string has Tsareena turn her back to the opponent, flicking her hair behind her which deals surprising damage – in reference to the move Razor Leaf.
Y-Y-X: The final attack of this string is loosely based on the move Trop Kick, having Tsareena use her hands as a means of keeping her up as she hops onto them, kicking violently forward.
Y-Y-Y-X: The final attack of this string is in reference to the move… Razor Leaf (yes I’m unoriginal,) in which she kicks her right leg sideways, shooting a leaf around her that spins around her a couple of times. Tapping again can have a second kick from the left leg, shooting another leaf – and these can be used as a short-term shield.
Y-Y-Y-Y-X: The final attack of this string is loosely based on the move Grass Knot – having her spin her feet into the ground, creating large vines around her that bloom into large flowers before suddenly exploding in reference to the move Seed Bomb – shooting small seeds all around her that rain down onto opponents, smashing into them.
Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-X: The final attack of this string has Tsareena spin upward, kicking all the way in a move that looks a little similar to Chun-Li’s Tenshokyaku, spinning around as she kicks more and more before her last kick explodes, stunning the opponents caught in it.
Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-X: The final attack of this string is loosely based on the moves Vine Whip and Power Whip – having Tsareena manifest two large vines covered in thorns and flowers out of each hand, spinning around as she violently catches opponents in the whips in question and finally creates vines from the ground as she flips and does a handstand – which violently knock opponents away.

Special Attacks
Weak Point Smash: Tsareena grows vines from her hands, springing upward and using a variation of High-Jump Kick – slamming her feet in a two-footed kick into the opponent and deftly flipping away, posing afterward for her adoring fans. This does absolutely huge damage to opponents.

Meter Attacks (X): Tsareena plants her hands and feet into the ground, preparing herself for a powerful attack as she suddenly sprouts massive and beautiful vines, flowers and bushes all around her – hitting opponents on all sides and trapping them within the attack, dealing even more damage if the button is tapped multiple times!

Unique Action (ZR):
Being loosely based on a fusion two of Tsareena’s Abilities – Queenly Majesty and Sweet Veil – this unique action has Tsareena let out a gas-like substance in a field around her that’s golden-green in colour as the small fruit on her head blooms into a flower. Smaller enemies caught in this field are bedazzled by Tsareena’s beauty – at this point, choosing to follow her and crowding around her in the process, acting as turncoat soldiers. This attack only works on fodder enemies, with Elite enemies being immune – but these fodder enemies can be used as a defensive meat-shield around her by collecting them, as well as blindly attacking other enemies they come across. However, they can't really be aimed - simply hovering around Tsareena.

However, it’s necessary to build up the miasma in order to be able to do this, which builds up a meter slowly over time, or much faster as Tsareena lands hits on enemies. Interestingly, enemies in this field are under this state permanently – but they have significantly reduced health and defence compared to normal, which drains over time – hence, they eventually die if kept around too long for balancing reasons. Notably, a small amount of the health of the enemies can be taken back into Tsareena slowly, in reference to the move Leech Seed – which means it’s important to get as many “followers” as possible.

General Playstyle/Archetype: Tsareena’s general playstyle is incredibly fast-paced and close-up – working well as a rushdown character who can quickly create combos on opponents with her powerful kick-based moves, as well as her generally fashionable nature. However, her defence is cripplingly low – meaning she has to use her Special Skill to her advantage, as well as carefully selecting her combos for certain situations. Being a fashion icon at heart, I imagine her general personality will have her reflect this – with her attacks being animated and dynamic, as well as her striking quite interesting poses – treating the battlefield as a mere extension of the catwalk.

I think Kabutops is a pretty interesting pick here. Having blade-like hands, and a quite light, skeletal frame, Kabutops fights using the scythe-like bones it has in place of hands, as well as the claws on its feet - using its originally aquatic nature to its advantage to move at surprising speed and being able to do surprisingly high damage to a few enemies around it, but being a glass cannon - easily able to be knocked aside, and not being as good at attacking singular opponents. Whilst not necessarily one of the most famous Pokemon in the series, it has a surprising amount of moveset potential given its Rock/Water typing, not to mention its quite unique visual style.

A really unique Ghost-type Pokemon, Yamask is a very small and floaty character - excelling in speed and movement, but lacking in attack power. Notably, he'd have a much easier time dodging attacks than others, as dodging actually makes Yamask intangible - acting as a reference to how, well, it's literally a ghost. I imagine it has a quite interesting moveset mostly based around the move Hex, allowing it to place debuffs on opponents as opposed to directly attacking them and making Yamask an incredibly powerful support fighter. However, its low attack power means it needs to use Hex cleverly in order to even scratch an opponent effectively. Not only this - but with Yamasks being the souls of humans, carrying a mask that represents its former face, perhaps this suggests some sort of deeper lore to the Ragrok region?

Badges are special augmentations that can be used to change a part of a Playable Character's abilities, some augmentations can be used by all Pokemon, some can only be used by Pokemon of a specifictype such as winged or heavy Pokemon, while a few can only be equipped by a single Pokemon

Their are many different types of Badges

CM: Short for Converter Machines these disks can change properties of certain moves such as making projectiles bigger and slower or give attacks shockwave properties, the more specific the CM is the more likely its esclusive to certain Pokemon

Charms: Guves Pokemon passive buffs, defense, or immunity to certain attacks, acts as armor of sorts as they also affect stats. For more esclusive Charms they also change a Pokemon's special abilities.

Feilds: Auras that gives allies passive buffs or enemeis debuffs can also change the wheather fir certain ones.

Scrolls: Reoalces a Pokemon's Meter Attack when equipped, you can only equip one at a time.

We dont have a playable grass starter yet, and Snivy seems to be the most popular of the first stage evolutions aside from Rowlet but we already have a Generation 7 grass Pokemon in Tsareena. Snivy would be fast but frail and attack with vines and his tail. He would also have the fastest dash out of all the Pokemon with his unique ability giving him 2 dash levels.

A fossil pokemon based off the ice age, this Pokemon would be able to freeze opponents and cause blizzards, It would also be our first non bipedal Pokemon being a sauropod which makes him slower yes but more but more bulky as a result, except to fire attacks to which he is double vulnerable too.

Aerodactyl


This prehistoric pterosaur is always flying around. With it's fearsome might, it's signature skill Unnerve scares opponents into not being able to heal or use passive moves of the sort. It's speed is on par with some of the fastest, and it has range and power to boot. However, Aerodactyl has a particular tendency to be easily defeated by ranged moves, such as Electric and Ice moves, so Aerodactyl always has to live on the edge. It's powerful Hyper Beam, Hurricane, Earth Power, Iron Head, Meteor Beam, Rock Tomb, and Wing Attack moves among others make it a strong Pokemon.
