its not that hard to learn on your own really, just play the game and use mobafire.com if you want a cookie cutter build. I'm not currently playing until I get a new computer in April but Sleepy could probably provide tips.

There's also character guides to learn how to play each champion which you can Google.

I'd offer to teach you, but I'm just starting out LoL and my knowledge pool is too limited beyond basic and intermediate gameplay

Decent starting point, but almost every guide is far from the optimal way to play a character or completely outclassed after buffs-nerfs or item changes.
