Any more on that Hylian Shield Sliding?

The hylian shield blocks when Link's crouching or in a neutral stance while sliding with no push back or lag. Besides on ice, it's too short a slide too be used in tourneys. Nothing slides far enough that cancels into stance/crouch; there's no DACcrouch slide or anything that would give the distance unless someone finds a new twist on an AT.

It's good in subspace and PS2/Summit.

I've resisted playing for quite a while, now. In order to help myself through my temporary 'withdrawal', I play Melee and Smash64.

I can't wait to get back into Brawl and practice playing smarter.

I was feeling pretty confident this whole week, but now I'm getting scared/nervous. I hope I can still do well. I reckon the two 5th place results I've gotten were flukes so this one will be the one to know if I'm actually a consistent good player.

There'll be alot of people money matching me. I'll definitely only play on Wii's that are hacked with infinite replays. So expect to see alot of new vids coming up!

There'll also be a low, mid and high tier tournies and I'm going to use all Link lol.

Sadly I don't think there'll be any doubles.

Remember to charge your arrows for 10 episodes before firing it.

Meh it wasn't a good tournament, single elimination made it meh, then they made it best of one game on a random neutral. Oh well, doesn't matter it wasn't a serious one anyways.

I got 8th of 64, Solo Link. I lost to a Ganondorf who knew how to play the game.

I found it funny how a lot of people were going MK, in the casual crowd. I feel stupid that one kid pretty much did nothing but spam Shuttle Loop and glide attack and I could get around it properly at times.

It was fun, I went to a panel that was teaching kids how to play and the game and I worked with it a bit teaching kids how to play doubles right, learning tricks with their characters and how to be less predictable.

So it felt like a good day in the long run.

Anyways, I'm also back from my tourney. (Full results later when they're posted.)

First place in low tiers
Second place in mid tier
7 place in High tier.

Probably over 25 entrants in each event.

I money matched 3 people, 2 of them on the PR and I won and I saved pretty much all my matches, so you'll see alot of vids uploaded soon.

Unfortunately many people didn't know how to play the game, so it felt less rewarding, that and the set-up of the tournament was kinda meh.

Nice rep your doing for Link, First in low tier is a very very good thing.

7th out of 25 is great rep.

Perhaps I terminated my modship prematurely, but now we have those moderators that I was hoping for, so I feel it's all worked out as I'd hoped.
