OMG I did a sexy pressure/combo string to Twitch's Fox with Falco on BF today. It involved him shielding my FF Dair into a reverse edgecanceled Dair that hit him before he hit the ground to start up a shine combo around 30%~ and it ended with a double spike offstage around 70%~. Beautiful.

I think shiek gets the real blame for that though. Glad I was never around for the days when everyone used Shiek.

I don't think he's boring because a lot of people use him I think it's just because you end up just nair shine uthrow uair 70% of the time. Like Theo said a long *** time ago.
People just need to get more creative with Fox.

I've tried to get more creative with fox and since I don't have the technical grace that you do I tend to either mess it up or do something that ends up on me not getting a kill, which in-turn led to me losing a stock. Or maybe I just sucked with fox... why the hell did I main him for so long?!

A Fox that never shines on stage, just relying on nairs, wavedash tilts and jabs, and opting for dsmash over usmash every time.

I mean my Fox was straightforward before(and now kinda) and I liked him a lot. Maybe I'm just weird but I always enjoyed finding new ways to exploit his speed.

I really don't understand how people can say Fox is boring. I guess if you only play him like DJ he is.
But after my Pro Fox Gauntlet at Apex, especially my 2 hours playing Colin, I saw and thought of so many fun things to do. Fox's Dair is the coolest combo tool ever. Also, his Shine waveland stuff leads to really funny things.
Like Kevin said, people just need to be more creative.
