If my best friend was standing before me getting stabbed multiple times I would have looked around and found something in my own house to use against the !@#$er, but I understand the shock factor. Still, it's ridiculous. I would risk my life for my friend, I don't care.

But... I guess until I was put into that position, I don't know what my body would do. It's like, you're telling your body to do one thing, but it's doing something else (frightened, heighted awareness and shock + adrenaline rush can do one of two things; help you, or hurt you)

Heres the idea- I think we should have a Youtube page for the Pit boards. Only the Pit boards would know the password and email id. In this Youtube page would be MM, Tourney matches, but most importantly vids vs each character in the roster that exemplify how the match should be played. I think it would be a great thing and much easier than going through a video page. The Pit mains who can record matches will divide the work of recording and uploading evenly which would reduce the load alot. All u have to do is go out of ur way at tourneys to play ppl who use X character in a mu u know extreemely well. What's ur guys opinion?

I'd be delighted to take part in this YT idea. i can even record/post matches of me and mabey another pit or two that lives nearby. i know that sagemoon is about a half hour drive away from me, and i know a few others that play pit but dont visit the boards.

Lol the point is there's a psychological switch that only happens in tourney matches and sometimes MM that wont come forth in friendlies. Unless we liike 1) absolutely know the guy wont sandbag (still wont be same as tourney though) and 2) he's a well known player of the area. IF its a friendly and its serious then ya its fine i just said MM etc etc cuz i dont wanna every friendly in the world on this page. Get me? Sooooo any1 who can upload vids gimme ur email address. I will email u the password and email ID/pass of email ID. This way any1 who randomly comes on Pit boards cant hijack our YT page.

On a side note: How many of you good ol pit mains will i see at CEO 2011?

TK the pass was only to go to the people who volunteer to be the "recorders". And i agree with luckay. Only way i say u can do that maha is have them record and put them up on mediafire for one of us to upload. Just pm ur email guys. when i get access to good editing software and a capture card i will bring up the topic of making a pit community vid and actually follow through with it. problem is it is still gonna be a while as i have to get a job to afford those things. however i have an interview at target tomorrow so if i get hired i will be able to get that stuff at discount and then i PROMISE if you guys send me ur clips i will make it.

I've already made several videos. I have a capture card and the necessary editing software to make a decent one, but the problem isn't the editor, but the people in the video getting the clips in the editor's possession.

Notes:
1) this is the whole purpose. If you yourself cnt record the many who can and have volunteerd will take of it for you. This way its not that much work for ONE person and we all have a much more organized and useful way of utilizing videos. (Will create playlists based on mu and separating tourney matches/MM etc. etc.)

2) The whole point is a reference to mu's so preferably (unless its a tourney/MM)only upload mu's u are familiar with or have a concept of how to approach the mu. No need for us to put videos of pit's getin ***** in a mu they dont know. YOU DONT HAVE TO BE AN EXPERT!!!! You just must know how to approach it and a general knowledge. This way we learn from ur mistakes and successes. We'll save that for the critique thread . The goal is with the entirety of the pit board participating every mu will have been covered by som1 to some extent. You just have to find those ppl and challenge em. I highly suggest an extra 160-320 mb sd card to make getting/sending replays much easier. Its only about $5.

3) i will make a thread where you can post the mediafire links or already recorded matches to be transferred to our YT page.

Any1 who can record THEMSELVES( meaning u record not a friend Unless the friend just gives u the MP4 files) say so directly. In the thread i make i will have a list of recorders. Again please state directly "i can record" so i know who else to give the info to. Thx guys. Let's make this an awesome fun thing we have that NO OTHER CHARACTER BOARD will have

IF YOU ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY DONT HAVE AN OUTSIDE RECORDER NOT FROM THE PIT BOARDS TO RECORD MATCHES THAT YOU WOULD LIKE CRITIQUED THEN THE RECORDERS SHOULD WILL DO IT. HOWEVER IT WILL COME AFTER THE VIDS DIRECTLY FOR THIS YT PAGE. <3 you guys.
