and leave glg out cause he hasn't played a ****ing match, but gheb can get away with not posting, so can kantrip, so can other players. nabe has allowed that. he probably hasn't read, probably won't read, and all we can do is remove him tomorrow. rake is also a nonfactor, kantrip is almost a nonfactor, and shoco's a nonfactor.

Koops started to use the same move against me in our match but I trumped him and picked up on it and went back to main despite the color buff. It was a light purple. I wanna hear what Koops' game plan was there because I find it very odd that he kept using the same move. He did beat me twice with it but why try it again if I would pick up on it?

That's actually pretty true considering Gheb has been the talk of getting removed and why Rake would incriminate both him and his partner like this seems fishy. I don't see reason to 'throw' against him.

honestly i've considered the possibility of rake being a dumbass, the fishy part is gheb continually throwing the same move and winning with it. i can assume rake was dumb and got something wrong in his retelling to wott and pjb but i can't assume he's so dumb to literally lose to the same **** repeatedly. there's hijinks going on there.

I guess the more important aspect of it is why Rake lied.

I mean, think about it. Even if Rake threw for his partner, wouldn't he be shooting himself in the foot by having to take a 1 point loss?

You saw the amount of replacements we had and how close Ryker was to getting modkilled. I don't want to completely neuter town's chances by having my slot modkilled, so I'm playing out my matches and trying to still exist, but my interest is very low.

we had 1 and glg did sign up once nabe said he needed a replacement for the game. i don't think drew even really asked around to get one. have you tried?

I would say right now, i think it would be better if you looked for someone to replace you if irl stuff is leaking into mafia games and making them super unfun. I would be better for your sake since, I'd rather you not let something fun like this get to you in a bad light.

If you can't, try and work out your irl problem if you can.

I'd rather see you get better emotionally than let things fester for you.

This was yesterday's match phase, that's how I was able to spectate it. At the time the match went down, there's probably wasn't anywhere near that much heat on gheb. Heck, I don't even know when they can communicate using that phone, so the plan may have been in place long before Gheb came under as much fire as he did.

In a situation where Rake and Gheb were a scumteam, I could absolutely see gheb laying out a plan for how they would handle matches vs each other. In that team, I could absolutely see Rake deferring to Gheb, because Gheb is a veteran scummer, and Rake is not confident in his scumgame.

Sort of. My standards on activity and modding overall in this game are much less strict than in a regular game, to accommodate for the length of the game and potential burnout. But overall thread activity is still a concern. In Ryker's case, he voiced his desire to replace out, which jump-started the process.

I'm gonna second this. I do feel bad that you're going through troubles irl but at the same time your lack of presence in this game is also hurting us. I tried doing this **** in time travelers and it wasn't fair to os. I hope things get better for you soon but for now, it'd be best for you just to replace out. Good luck, dood.

Iirc gheeb removal didn't pick up steam until after they completed the match.

Feel free to badger him out of thread / try to find a replacement, at which time I could contact him and see if he wants out. I don't share the frustrations with Gheb's play that other players have expressed in thread or to me. I haven't seen anything to out-rule Gheb, Xonar will bus his mates into the ground if he thinks they are awful.

Soup/Kantrip, I'd have to reread to see what would out-rule them since I don't recall anything that would outrule both.

Scum can't really get much town cred for bussing since there is only one chance to do so (the removal), but there really isn't much risk since there aren't as much lynches to waste on connections. Sure the cop target is a possibility but it can happen once per cycle, so it's still not really risky.

So I can see scum bussing in thread, or rather, just throwing out scum reads knowing that there is only ONE chance to get one of them. To seem townie, 1/4 going down isn't a bad gamble.

I think if Rake and Gheb are scum Rake would throw the match because Gheb could have an advantage in Cycle 2. iirc we don't know what two of the MAF even do.
