Talk to me about Rake. I'll pull up and paraphrase the activity in our hotel room. It would be nice if we could have a paraphrased run-down of what happened in every hotel room.

Literally nothing happened in ours. Koops and our slot were both really inactive so all we had was Ruy saying we were all sleeping in the same bed. Productivity, ho!

As for Rake, I've never fully experienced this slot in full. I tend to see it in hydras more than the actual player so if you're looking for a meta read I don't really have one. I don't like how he's dragging his heels on doing anything because he's said his part on soup, but outside of that, I need to see more from that slot before I can really make a definite stance on him.

It is a definitive scumtell as it shows a distinct effort to appear town. The things he's saying have pro-town intention at their core, I'll give him that. But they are soooo incredibly obvious that everyone already knows them and they should go without saying them. Saying them, therefore, is unnecessary. Doing so is just faking towniness.

What exactly? Also state why it's fake and why it isn't coming from town.

Your interactions with soup have an air of suspicion about them. It's coming mostly from soup, but the fact that you're so okay with him for some reason gives me pause.

Getting straight into it, as Laundry said, I'm busy so...

I will be liking posts and then I will explain them later. So people just saying things about me needing to post...shh lmao. Honestly, I hardly post D1 as it is but yeah.

To more important things, the reason I liked Potato's post is because potato had the best post of the game so far. Nearly everything he said in that post was what I was feeling. Soup is playing super bad at the moment with his captain obvious nonsense. However I have no scum read on him, just that he is playing bad. Plus Soup-scum is easy to figure out and this isn't him at the current time. So I like Potato's initiative (and also Joker too since his push is logical) but Soup isn't scum in my book. So I like everyone at the moment in the Soup-Joker-Potato triangle at the moment......

One thing to note though, I do not like Super Fab at the moment because of his posts towards Soup where he said "yeah I like Soup" but didn't give any reason whatsoever to why he was town. It looked like he was just saying it to say it and say it's different. Looks fake and could also just be Super Fab looking to get some points if Soup was is in fact town in the long run (But there are no flips it seems so it's like meh).

Anyways Gheb's posts haven't held much of anything at all, normal. Feel like pointing this out because it's just annoying me to see so much nothingness yet Laundry says Gheb is alright. I'm probably going to leave Gheb to Laundry until I see that one post that makes me either run him down or whiteknight him against the most likely pain-train he gets every game. Rake and WOTT's feels like one scum between them, but that's just more of a hunch than anything substantial at the time. Laundry has his own thoughts on things as well but he'll most likely express them himself. No one else has really come to mind of being of relevance. The new players (TTK and that other one that I am forgetting) need to post with inactives but that will also come in time. Till then I will be in the shadows watching things go on, but I'm here and giving my comments to Laundry.

Also regarding the game mechanics and all that jazz...uh...I have no idea like on anything and it can be summed up like this.

All I said was that I didn't have a problem with Soup. This was not a read on him. I don't have a strong opinion of him yet, but I don't think Kantrip is really reading him, which is why I asked him what he really has a problem with. Just saying "Captain Obvious" doesn't show scum intent specifically and doesn't give anyone reason to lynch. He has to be specific or otherwise I think he just slapped it together to have a fake accusation on Soup. I think you are reading too hard into something I never said. I stated that I didn't have a problem with Soup because I wanted people to know that while I was questioning Kanty's approach.

Not anymore solid than what I said. I would like for you to elaborate on his posturing and selectiveness. His snarkyness of request (or lazyness to me) is null because he has done that before as either alignment. In the previous newbie he did it but did come in and do some work. He has done it in BIM due to low motivation and just not being able to answer questions legitimately. It's also possible that Kantrip has been 'disliking' Rake due to Rake's strong reaction to Kantrip's push towards you. At first glance it seems odd because of the blegh blegh but once I understood it and understood that Kanty's stance didn't really hold any water, I could see where Rake was coming from and can see it as possible for Kantry being opportunistic. Yet it remains to be seen until he explains his stance.

All I can really say until he comes in and does more stuff.

His posturing feeling I get is that Kantrip is trying to play for himself. I understand that Meta is not something I can fully rely on but when I think of TownTrip I think of someone who is more concerned with finding scum then wasting their time playing armchair. He either got a shot of Ego somewhere or he doesn't really have anything else to say. The thing that bothers me most about Kantrip is that he's far too certain of himself. I read him like he doesn't feel pressured to be correct, and he's throwing out goddamn reads like it's candy. How he town-reads Picture Perfect because Washed posted a couple of pretty pictures and got upset at a few things is beyond me. How he scum-reads Rake on the basis of how he reads me, is well, beyond me. I really don't ****ing get the whole Rake scum thing because I can certainly tell you that the least he has done is try to decipher an alignment. Kantrip isn't deciphering things.

I went and looked back at what Kantrip said wrt me, because it initially got me going. There is an inconsistent mindset.

Soup's assertion that they're excited about rolling town and are subsequently clogging up the thread is stupid. I don't see them being excited at all, nor are they clogging up anything. They're just diving into important issues while soup's hotel room talks about "hey guys we should probably give beneficial things to town instead of mafia." Soup's play so far is really irking me. Captain obvious on duty.

It's like Kantrip hasn't even ****ing read the game nor does he give a **** because do you remember when Kantrip couldn't even define his read on Rake? The fact that PP fed soup this line, and then soup proceeded to dive headlong into his "I'm soup and I'm frustrated about mafia!" act makes me all the more convinced that he is full of baloney.
