The defense of you without any reasons really bothered me. Like, I think you're town now, which makes him coming in with that defense smell really bad. It reeked of him having knowledge he shouldn't (you're town) and playing on the right side because he could (I'd say for town points but this game is so weird I don't see how that would get town points, it's just the natural scum reaction to side with a townie who's getting pressured. Makes that townie like you)

im not gonna fight for someone to get a bye so i think if we decide on a bye it should be a majority decision instead of randomly throwing byes around.

Soup is fine because I don't see the need for a maf member to preen at pretending to look all townie, when they have a easy advantage to winning matches with their cheating thing, I don't think soup as Maf would be so self-conscious to not just play normally, the assertion that he's maliciously trying to appear townie doesn't appeal to me, nor make me re-think him yet. Call it rushed or w/e but it's just the feel i got from my interaction with him.

The defense itself isn't as grimy as Super Fab's. Rake at least gave reason. Of course, he's intelligent so I have to give him the credit to be capable ot giving reasons.

Just, as far as Rake's concerned, his defense of you isn't what I don't like about him.

@460: Because when defending soup he gave no reasoning. TownRan likes to ask a lot of questions and give a lot of reasons. This Ran just said "guys soup is town what are you doing" and peaced it

And yeah, I saw your point on knowledge he wouldn't have, but i think that point is kinda iffy, i don't know that Ran flaunts a soup defense out there as scum, knowing people would look at him funny for it. Scum Ran is super reserved so i have i hard time seeing him being so outgoing this time after Cirfia

People should adopt a strategy of cheating against their opponent if they think they are scum, and not cheating if they think they are town.

Why is this a good idea?

Cheating against scum opponents will force THEM to cheat in order to beat you. Since scum cheat > town cheat, you will lose and will be likely able to confirm your scumread. This also has a level of accountability. If a tourney cop finds you cheating, you can say you were against a scuread of yours. This makes everyone accountable for their actions in a very good way. If you're against town, play it out fairly.

Can everyone agree to doing this?

Depends. I may decide to limit the info to people in my hotel room, assuming I end up in a room with all townreads. If I feel like everyone needs to know something, I'll definitely talk about it, but you guys are going to be playing your own matches to learn from as well.

I believe the public guess is at the end of the cycle, not the phase.

Meaning we have like 6 game Days to decide
