I dunno what your college experience was like massive, but the town is a good location for smash imo b/c it's not too far from springfield, kc, st. louis, and como. Including the rolla crew itself that's a lotta dudes to hang and play games with; last time was really fun

It's a longer trip than Nebraska, Springfield, and St. Louis.
I'm glad there's a vibrant crew there and that you enjoyed yourself on your visits.

Please bear in mind that I lived there for more than 5 years. I did not enjoy much of it and I don't want to deal with it again. Every time I have ever gone back there it has been even worse than I remember. After my last trip, I cannot think of a single reason to go back there, so I won't. Sorry.

Other people should feel free to go, I know the venue very well and it is actually quite good for a tournament. Pay no mind to the ramblings of this jilted old alumni.

z you misunderstand me. First of all realize that my van is used/crappy, and its breaking point is inevitable; it's just a question of when

I'm saying sure it could make a 2 hour trip, possibly even the 7 hour drive to champaign. But that's putting a lot of miles on it and causing it to break down sooner than it would without those miles on it. I'm hoping the van gives me at least another year or so before it breaks down, because I can't afford to buy another car and pay tuition at the same time

so I'm hesitant to use the van on long trips, sorry. If we do get 7 people all wanting to go, I still may just hope for the best and use the van anyway, but I'd prefer not to
