Speaking of TMNT, TMNT Smash Up just came out today, and I was playing all day unlocking stuff and learning the game (hence I didn't come). I'll bring it to the next meeting I'm at; do people tend to show up on Thursday (assuming my work schedule is compatible, while I'll find out tomorrow)?

i watched a vid and i was thoroughly unimpressed. it actually seemed worse then brawl, though i will reserve a real opinion until i actually play the game, and not base it off of a vid of a guy who had been playing it for 20 minutes

I've never heard of any Power Rangers tournament. I've never even heard of a Power Rangers fighting game lol.

There's not going to be a TMNT Tournaments Fighter, exactly.

There's going to be a free terrible fighters tournament where TMNT going to be one of the many games played. I know a lot of people consider it to be a good game, but a lot more people consider it bad from what I've heard.

Power Rangers the Fighting Edition is far from terrible. I've actually played it extensively, and as long as you make the dead obvious choice to ban Ivan Ooze (he has six moves which are mostly broken and broken flight mechanics; he's obviously a gimmick boss character), the balance isn't awful (just don't use Shogun Megazord). It actually has some pretty interesting mechanics as well (the power bars are the biggest example).

Yeah, TMNT Smash Up is worse than Brawl, but Brawl is an incredibly good game (why else would we still be playing it over a year after it came out?) so I don't see the issue there.
