3. Wii Fit Trainer, Greninja, and Chorus Men, yes. However, that's not the only way to "surprise" people. You can do that with your presentation. Everyone (with a functioning brain) saw Sonic in Brawl and Mega Man in Smash 4 coming a mile away, but the presentation for both of them for said games via their reveal trailers were very "surprising". Also Ike being confirmed on the Brawl Dojo like he was nearly 7 years ago was a GIGANTIC SURPRISE, even though most of us figured he would be playable.

There is absolutely no evidence we won't be getting secret characters this game, and my point was, given the statement sakurai has made this game (that he hates spoilers, likes people to be surprised, the major trolling he has done- I mean, there are far more instances of his demonstrations that he is trying to surprise us than simply naming the revealed characters; discuss his entire M.O)-- given ALL that, I'd say it is extremely likely we are indeed going to continue with having secret characters.
On top of that, secret characters aren't confirmed to be a thing anymore.

Its called a leak, until proven otherwise its a leak. Keep in mind I said "supposed" leak, and I don't buy this for a second either even if Falco is revealed this week (which I find highly unlikely). The fact that he said this info came from "promotional material" screams red flag.

I never said I trusted it, I was just clarifying that there was a different leak than the Gematsu one which "confirmed" Mewtwo.

A leak by definition is something top secret becoming known. If it's not true then it's not a leak.

I'm in agreement with this. Actually, out of all remaining yet-to-be-confirmed veterans, I think we might get Ganondorf, Mewtwo, and Wario before release, since they'd bring more hype, especially if Ganondorf has a revamped moveset.

How to make your own leak:
-Make up something quite possible (Falco returning).
-Make up something that everyone wants (Mewtwo confirmed).
-Make up something that an anmount of people will hate (Lucas and K Rool not playable).
-Make up something risky so that everyone thinks since you are risking it, it must be true (Falco revealed this week).

I mean, even if this leak confirmed K Rool as playable. Why reveal Falco this soon? especially over Falco(n).

I think people are speculating Falco will be revealed this week or next in line because Star Fox only has one character revealed while a bunch of other lesser franchises have two or more, most notably Fire Emblem, which has only had two to date.

I say Ganondorf and Mewtwo because if Ganondorf is revamped they'll want to show it off before release. Showing revamped Ganondorf and Mewtwo would bring tons of hype, and Ganondorf was already hinted at anyway.

My uncle's monkey who works at Nintendo told me that K. Rool is in this game but the only way to fight him is by beating fifteen enemies in Cruel Kerfuffle with the Donkey Kong+Diddy Kong tag-team character which is unlocked by jamming your DK and Diddy Amiibos together
