Hey guys,

I'm just starting to play Pikachu. So I was wondering if you guys have any basic tips or things I should do/not do when playing Pikachu.

Thanks in advance. :)

Put a part of every single Pikachu mains name ever in your name.

ALL of them.
Except for me. Anyone who puts "Muhz" somewhere in their name is destined to slowly lose their mind to a more perverse, naughty, breast-obsessed version of themselves. It's sorta like possession. It's really cool, but totally secret! And you know what? Life's never been the same.

So, most of the replies haven't been very helpful to the OP - so I'll try and give him some tips =P

First tip, watch any videos of Anther. He's probably the most proficient Pikachu player right now. Watching his replays will be a good place to get a general sense of how a good pikachu plays out.

Second, browse these forums! There's a plethora of information here, and even more is coming. Just look at the sticky threads and check some of the new topics that are being posted. It's all great stuff!

Finally - JUST PRACTICE! As with any character, the most important thing is simply practice, and experience. No amount of advice or studying will ever be worth as much as simply playing other good opponents, and practicing your techniques. The more you play, the more natural things will feel, and the more fluid you'll become.

I hope this was helpful!

Lies. Changing your username is the ONLY way you'll get better. If you don't, you'll be a scrub4lyfe.

Seriously, though, what Kitt said.

Don't put Bunny in your name. You'll get good with Pikachu and then drop him. D=

Lols at Bear vs Galax stuff.

That was less helpful then the name changing business. Someone already suggested Anthers videos and "read the Pikachu Boards" and "Practice" definately go without saying.
