If I was lurking, it had to have been on my phone before 12 PM. Was stuck in a car ride all day.

No, I am not tracker.

Anyone else find it funny/ironic that the Jailer and the Tracker were at each other's throats D1 and swore each other were scum?

And now we are here and J is stumped for a second.

Alright, I was hoping that would be a double-clear instead of just a single, but I'll take it.

Going to think about that and maybe re-read before posting my thoughts tomorrow.

86 that, Ive been mulling the game over in my head in bed: mobile short but sweet post incoming.

Maven is clear by tracker and im not surprised to hear it
It shouldnt surprise anyone that Im VT at this point (forgot to say that outrifht)
Orboknown helped make Kaladin a real wagon being the first(?) if not second person to vote him after the cote count revealed no one had (a bold move for a scummate to start late in day)
And J, though I have reservations about his motives for bringing up the "no one is defending him" wifom which is always terrible because it ceases to be true the moment its beought up

Fat fingers...

-while he did do that shtick he did come in to hammer near deadline. Not airtight but occams razor says thats good until proven bad

Which leaves Koopa, who iirc put out general "ehh" feelings on Kaladin but never pushed him and was overall quieter on the subject when the time to lynch came. Seems like a good place to go first

Vote: Thekoopaking

Illbl fact check that tomorrow, but until then if all those things are true this choice seems clear and reasonable

If I'm being honest, if it is between Koopy and Orbo; I would actually lean lynching Orbo. I've gotten better vibes from Koopy then that of Orbo who I have definitely had qualms on.

I was thinking that until I looked back over it, Koopa really kept his distance from Kaladin once the heat started coming on him, while Orbo, despite just having minor phone posts, voted Kaladin pretty early and didn't let up. Real problem is Koopa seemed to be reading Kaladin as scummy, but didn't focus on it even when the guy was getting lynched. Orbo didn't seem to have any weird interaction with Kaladin

And you've failed to mention these in any way because?

I haven't failed to mention them, I commented on them in my large post.

Well since Maven and Ditzy are reading it a different way I'll give it a re-look considering it's only a 10 pg long game haha.

I don't disagree that Orbo's play has flaws, but the main factor is the willingness to vote Kaladin.

He voted Kaladin as the first vote of the wagon in the post immediately following Gheb's votecount showing only Maven was actively being voted for, right after declaring deadline. Not very typical of a partner to start a bus that late when it could've been dragged out.

That's a fair-ish point, but a pretty weak one considering things.

Though I could just be putting my foot into my mouth like with Maven so I'm kind of biting my tongue at things lately because I am trying to re-evaluate things.

I just don't see Koopy as scum based on vibes and Orbo just seems...off from previous games this time around. Plus if it isn't Koopy that means it is one of you or Orbo and out of that duo, I feel stronger about lynching Orbo. I just don't see the scum-intent from you and also you had the real key vote in ending Kaladin when Soup/I were on Maven and could have lynched him. Unless you decided bussing would be better in the long run which is a possibility that has crossed my mind. I just don't think so considering the remainder of your play has been really consistent and reads as good intent.

Orbo just feels shady this game where he has been just actively dodging the thread more then he usually passively does and then when he does come in, he adds nothing new. To be honest, during my re-read I am going to see if he has been just mimic'ing you and parroting what the majority thinks because I feel that is my impression of Orbo where he has been somewhat in your shadow Ditzy.

I see more malintent from Orbo then I do Koopy. The only thing being talked about right now is timing of votes which strikes a chord with me because there is more to people's play then just votes.

I don't disagree that Orbo's play is lacking. But it would help if Koopa and Maven could get in here on it.

The most convincing thing I could see for Orbo over Koopa is the difference in treatment of Kaladin around 226-227, where Koopa gets at Kaladin for points he's skipping and Orbo just tosses him a null question.

I can see the Orbo angle being the laziest bus of all time, but in comparison to a lot of the cast right now they're both light on content to judge from.

Howdy everybody! Let me take this opportunity to say hello, and that I will certainly be actively playing this game with all of yall. I've already been readin up so I have a fairly confident position of what I think of the game, but at the moment I'm a tad busy. I'll be gettin up on this game later today, but before I completely settle in I have a few questions that have been buggin' me for a while.

Jdietz43 Jdietz43 (I sure hope I did that right) Why in god's name did you think it was a swell idea to out the tracker? Now, rather than prepare for the possibility of getting a tracker clear after a mislynch, we have now guaranteed that the tracker will die of the game continues after toDay. In fact, to the rest of y'all, what in god's name made ALL YOU GUYS think it was a good idea?

#HBC | J #HBC | J I'd greatly appreciate it if you can comb back through the thread and quote yourself talking about your qualms with Orbo's slot, because quite frankly I don't think they exist. I've read this game at least four times and not a once do I remember you talking negatively about Orbo's play (aside from possibly being away from the thread).

Maven89 Maven89 I'm aware you're clear but I feel compelled to ask you: Did you not realize that you were going to be jailed after Soup's post about not feeling the need to reevaluate his read on you? If I were in your position, I'd have claimed right then and there and told him not to jail me, so help me god. That forces scum to kill you, sure, but that also leaves the possibility of Soup netting a protection, or nailing a roleblock on scum. Just some food for thought that came to my mind.

Because it literally makes the game a 50/50 between each slot (or in maven and dietz case, 33 vs 25)
Less people to sift through makes a better chance lf clearimg this today and we would habe gotten his na result vs him possibly dying tonight

I hoped that Soup was reconsider after Kaladin came up scum. I agreed to outing myself because several people brought me up as scum and this completely cut off me off from discussion and narrowed it down to just who it could actually be. Also, Orbo's post where I mentioned town-reading Kaladin really early on and my overall odd early day-1 play were all stuff I could see people talking about, my interaction with Kaladin actually does look pretty odd with his scum flip, but it was innocent and it's essentially proven that it was. Now it's just the few that's left.

First off, thanks for replacing in and posting so quickly. I'm really appreciative of that.

Jbby said:
Orbo is in a similar boat, but I don't get his Koopy insistence to be in the same pile of Maven/Kaladin. It seems forced and like "Oh yeah, don't forget Koopy" which is why I am starting to see that as a light distancing technique ( Jdietz43 Jdietz43 could I get your opinion on this train of thought?). Everything he has been saying is entirely null which is frustrating yet understandable which makes it even more frustrating haha. This pile is something I want to play more with, but I literally cannot until they get into the thread and start doing things themselves.
Well here is a portion of it, but I have been explaining it more and more with my current conversation with Ditzy which is becoming more and more the forefront of discussion for my side. So saying you've read the game 4 times and haven't seen my dismay with Orbo's slot is seeming like an over-exaggeration and also not really looking at the current topics.

Why did you not pose anything to Orbo? You seem to be disgruntled by Ditzy so can you give a read on that slot because you are the first person to disagree with something we all unanimously agreed upon. I find it odd that, that, is what you chose to comment on regarding Ditzy.

In your next post, could you point us in the direction where you are thinking as in more defining how you are reading the other players? (Mainly Myself/Orbo/Ditzy)

I'm glad you could see my PoV now regarding the scum-team of Maven/Kaladin yesterDay. ;P

Well, truth be told, these are just quick hits that I wanted to immediately address since I don't have the time to sit down and officially cement my place in the game quite yet. I certainly will soon, though. For the moment the most I can do is just briefly discuss certain things, and I knew that that'd be the case until later tonight, which is why I posed those particular questions.

Because it literally makes the game a 50/50 between each slot (or in maven and dietz case, 33 vs 25)

I don't understand the logic here. From where I'm standing, the three possible scum candidates are JDietz, J and you. That's a 33% chance to nail scum, not 50/50. And from Maven's perspective, that number becomes 25%. Outing the tracker toMorrow would have certainly made the chances 50/50. Of course, y'all seemed pretty determined to lynch Maven, so unfortunately there was a strong chance of him being exposed regardless. I'll be letting go of that avenue though since it'll likely just stir up a heap of wifom, but I still can't understand why you wouldn't, collectively, think it was a better idea to play with the mislynch and try to read the game based off of the content in the thread.

I don't know, Soup struck me as particularly bull headed, especially when he made that post. I admire your faith though, I suppose it's a learning experience. I disagree with your sentiment about your early Kaladin town read looking scummy, but I guess that doesn't matter anymore.

I'm personally more interested in you pointing out your stated qualms with Orbo before your posting mentioning your qualms with Orbo. Looking at the one post you quoted, what I see is a circumstantial distancing strategy with TKOK (which is now proven to be impossible, so that point is moot), and the fact that everything he has said is null. But you went ahead and basically retracted that statement by saying that it's understandable why everything he's saying is null. That doesn't make him scummy. That makes him... null. Doesn't it?

You do understand that that's an incredibly bad answer, right?

Can you do me a favor and give me a summary of the D1 wagons (all if possible, but prioritize Kaladin's please), and give me a general idea of your suspicions of each player? I'd appreciate it being off the top of your head.

I can honestly say that I'm impressed by how inactive this game has managed to be considering we've got a PR outed and a mafia flip to play with. Do those of y'all that are town not realize that by sitting back on your spurs boiling everything down into overly basic ultimatums, you're allowin' scum to act literally exactly like you and thus behave indistinguishably?

Remember the miscommunications we had on D1 regarding slots being in overly similar positions? Wanna chase those same confusing loose ends, or actually play this game?

Orboknown Orboknown

Addin' a tag. I really wanna hear from the quietest player on the roster how their suspicions and thoughts developed throughout D1. It was a helluva day -- pushes on two different town PRs and then ultimately a scum lynch. What was that like from your vantage point? What did it look like? What made you think what, and when, and why? You helped lynch scum D1 while literally the whole rest of the cast was pressuring town PRs. You're either coastin' mafia letting us kill each other, or you're the only person that had their **** together on more than one occasion.

Also, i don't think that its a bad answer. I trust in my dietz read being right. Mavens an un-cc'd tracker. The jailer has flipped. That means j and your slot are the only ones left to consider as scum today.

I mean a lot of us have been working haha. It's easy to come into a game and be like "wow, nothing is getting done, wtf guys?!" especially as a replacement. The thing is, I want to point something out. You are complaining at us for not looking at things currently when we have all done something you've failed to do yet which is point out a scum-read.

J - Orbo
Ditzy - Koopy's slot
Maven - Koopy's slot(?)
Orbo - J/Koopy's slot 50/50

Currently, we have all done work, it's just all of our eyes are on you for a majority of it and waiting to see what you do.
