It was based on voting. And the number of votes a character got gave it its rating. Very very stupid.

They should go back to doing it based on matchups. Average them up. Change the matchup list along with the tiers. Ratings? The high tiers are probobly flaming this as well.

Let's not get bogged down in tier discussion. The list changes nothing. The SBR don't play Jiggs and probably haven't played against (good) Jiggs. Jiggs 2.0 is still a little baby. They just don't know what crazy stuff Jiggs can do yet.

Stick to the task at hand people. Play Jiggs, train, improve, research, rest. Get a good secondary but don't use them as a crutch. Exploit the ignorance!

Falco is fairly good on MK and stuff and many other high tiers but he has major issues with Marth. He shouldn't be that high. And she dropped because of the format when she should have risen a fair amount. Same with Yoshi. Its not a good list.

I'm going to larger tournaments very soon. I havent been in big ones until now but we should be getting me, Thinkaman, Bowyer, Jiggles, PND, Jiggernaut, Meow and a few others to do well. Woody doesnt count, he'll lose immediately at nationals almost guaranteed.

Going on to the real tier list, Bowser went down. YEAH!!! ALRIGHT!!! WHOOO!!!

Jiggs probably didn't go up because she hasn't been placing well, or the Back Room just doesn't respect her. All the new metagame advancements for Jiggs will probably take time for more players to find them applicable. Until that time, I say we remain patient.

in fact, it could even make it better to play jiggs:

having an underestimated character that no one has much competitive experience against - awesome

if you win, youve got more gloating power; if you lose, you have a good excuse - awesome

I'm gonna be breaking out of my little scene soon. I've outgrown it lol. Maybe I'll be notable someday "dreams big dreams". I guess I have to start somewhere and local tourney doesn't count for much. yea i agree, that's definitely a big issue. our metagame will advance slower unless the current community just steps it up like we have been. once we get all the mechanics with jiggs down the only thing left is actually showing it off in tournies
