Really disappointing the heavyweight championship is only single elimination.

Edit: Like, I can hardly take the results at face value with this tbh =/

Yeah, getting 33rd because you have to play the one guy who has the best shot at beating you is kind of lame ... considering 9B would've likely beaten everybody else.

I looked over the entrants list and noticed that kengaku (見学) is near some players' names. SLS is among them. Did these players only watch the tournament?
Yeah, Kengaku means that. They come to watch the tournament or play friendlies.

So what was with all the people saying 9B got 32nd? That list says he got 9th (still a shocker with all the hype about him).

Keitaro, the commentators indicated over the stream that OCEAN does not play R.O.B. anymore, so I think it is safe to assume he only played Meta Knight at this tournament.

Tesh, I think the confusion came from the fact that the stream labeled the first round as "round0" and the second round as "round1." I was confused as well.

If Otori vs 9B fighting outside of top 8 is good seeding, then Japan is truly impressive.

If this tournament was seeded and it probably was, the bracket was probably based around the points given to each of the top players for each of their placings. Since Otori has only entered two out of six of 9B's tournaments during season two of his series, placing 4th and 24th, Otori is probably one of the lower ranking top players according to the point system.

All of Cross's matches must be uploaded! I demand it! I fell asleep before I saw him on stream, woke up and I just see his tag and Sheik highlighted then unplugging controller :[

Unfortunately smashbrothers.info hasn't been updated within the last 10 days and smashbrothers.org is still down. New videos haven't been uploaded on youtoube either so the only means of getting new information is either through direct contact to their players or another site where their players interact.
