delphiki thanks for the heads up. In a small tourney, who plays who for the most part doesn't matter to me. but you brought it up, so I thought I'd ask.

Perfect Dark makes other FPS games worthless.

And we need 2 tv's for smash aside from the random game tv, so Tom's bringing one, that means someone else needs to haul a setup with them. That means you ricky. And Tom, I told enoc you would give him a ride. Dont make me a liar.

Some of us up in Reno we're reading about these tourneys on the boards and were really looking forward to checking out the tourney...
I'll keep checking back to see if the bi-weeklies are revived. We'd love to get some out-of-city competition though.

do you guys know of any upcoming tourneys [LARGE ones] in the area aside from the oh-so-far-away evo in vegas?

We may also feature low tier singles, provided participation. The entry fee for Low Tiers will be $3.

We have several players planning to attend, this will be a pretty large Smash til Dawn. Previous Delphiki Games have featured upwards of twenty entrants, but hopefully with this early notice we can easily trump that size! So get ready everyone, for Delphiki Games IV!

What time would the singles tourney start?
Will there be time/equipment for challenges? ($5 or $10 1v1's)

when do you think the STD would end on the morning of the 17th? we in modesto would like to see some attendance from sac but you guys might be too tired to come down...
(in that case it would be like taking candy from a baby)

so how about it sac smashers? coming to modesto tournament after delphiki's std for a full weekend of smash? we are expecting 4-5 uc merced smashers (momoraine, jimbo and friends) to come.

EDIT: As for meetups, if anyone's in the Folsom/Citrus Heights area, we should get together sometime.

EDIT 2: Will there be any food or drink at this meetup, or will we have to bring our own?

Yeah Tyde we'll team. And we'll **** too. ^_^

Doubles will prolly be starting pretty late, maybe 10ish? Singles whenever that's done.

Edit: If there are plans to head out early in the morning we may start the tournaments earlier.

Oh, and we'll need TVs/Cubes! We only have one setup at the moment and I'm hoping for at least five. We'll have plenty of time for friendlies, we'll be smashing all night. I'd love to see some out of state players attend!

As for Modesto....if somebody is willing to make the drive we can all just get to sleep in time to WIN that tournament too. zomg Sac vs. Modesto is ****. ^_^
