I'll take F.T.A. over D.B.R. Think of this: a noob watching King v. Zel won't learn much in terms of mental ability, simply because they play at such a higher level that they won't realize any of the things which could/are going through the pros heads. The same can be said of people around our level, we can get more out of people who won't completely **** us in two minutes.

I disagree. As good as DBR is, we're at a level where we don't get absolutely destroyed anymore, from anyone. I don't consider consistent 2-stock being destroyed. Don't take this the wrong way, either, I know everyone in DBR is better than me by a lot, but...I think I'd learn more from a crew in which all active members are like 10th or better on the NCPR...Nick's position escapes me at the moment, but yeah...FTA's still great though.

btw since when is "kens crew" pricks..? you dont know them personally, so how do you know they are pricks? not nice to say my friend =) btw im down for the sac biweekly, as long as i get a ride from peter.. ive been driving my car way too much these past 2 weeks.. and its in poor condition.

Ken's not a huge prick...I hear worse things about Manacloud though. And no, I know neither of them personally, but I did talk to Ken in the bathroom at OC2...and he wasn't like "lolwtfn00b." ...haha...This sounds hella funny to me. "Ner, I talked to ken in the bathroom, ner..." But seriously, it'd be nice to train w/ ken's crew...on the awfully low chance that I beat Ken at some point during the training session, I have bragging rights. :D I'm good against Marths, so yeah...

I spoke to ken and watched other people speak to ken & mana cloud they seem like huge pricks... More mana cloud then ken . But i mean if you thik about how many not good people challenge him it must get annoying

fta's good, they're all really good.
but honestly bob$ is seriously a level above anyone i've ever played. many times, not just once, like twenty or more times lol. and you really learn a ****LOAD just trying to keep up. playing against decent-to-good players is a little beneficial because you know you have a chance at winning.
but trying to win against someone you think you have absolutely no chance against gets you a million times more progress. and you feel like you must play your a$$ off when you know they are barely playing their best. lmfao 20+ friendlies with bob$ was a miracle for me..
but srsly fta is freaking good too.

I will be coming to the next biweekly. Bootle is giving me a ride, so expect him and Dread to come also. Tomi I do not accept your money match, as that would solve nothing whatsoever. Though I would like to play you again. We had some good fox dittos last time we played. That was awhile ago though and we both have improved.

lolwut. traveling to different parts of california/hanging out with smasher friends is a lot different from playing smash. What does my playing have to do with my opinion on anything.
Also I only dsmash because thats really all I need to do. If I play someone who I need to try against I usually go fox. If I go to the biweekly we can play for who is correct in their opinion on enjoying the company of other if you want.

Kev I need that joystick this Saturday. I told you that you couldn't keep it and you just left anyway. Even more, you gave me no warning. If you had told me you had to go immediately I wouldn't have minded, but you purposely left with something that you knew was not yours. That's not cool.
Hyuga - I had to drop several characters in order to get good with my Ice Climbers and decent with my Pichu. This was within the last month or two. Dropping at least a couple of those other characters would greatly increase the other, as I'm sure you know. All in all you should limit the number of characters you can play. But I won't tell you who to play. Who do you enjoy playing more, and do the differences in wins and losses make up for it? That sentence should actually be reversed but you get the idea.
edit: Tomi I won it. Why'd you go Shiek against Tyde? I've never seen you play Shiek before.

So dont tell me you cant play alot of characters and be good, becuz I play all 26 as well and my main continues to get better.
As to your question Sheridan. You could always do what Snap did, and thats train wit all of your characters against multiple people until you feel comfortable wit being to interchange them, whether for matchup purposes or because u want to play that character. If this means using GW first round and Jiggz the next and then maybe Zelda then go for it.
Or you could do what you did last time and choose one ahead of time and go wit it. Only problem is if you get really bad matchups.
Delphiki have yet to see your ICs do anything tournament wise out of Sac(What have you done in Sac?) So dont say good, maybe above avg or something along those lines but Choknater is good with IC's

I personally believe that you should play as many characters as you want, and I do not believe that it will make you get worse. However, if you are trying to develop a bunch of characters at once, they will most likely develop slower then if you focus on a couple.
EDIT: no sheridan at UCSC tournament? daaaang. i was hoping for sheridan training <_<
