Isaac for Brawl. Bonzai!! Bonzai!! Bonzai!!

His game was made by a second-party of Nintendo so he sure has a good chance to be in Brawl, with assist trophy as the least amount of screentime he'll be in and the best being playable to please the European and American fans.

I come from the land of the ice and snow..
I pray for him to be in. I don't care how good, or how bad, I plan on maining him.
Same here, but if you think about it, it would be kind of hard to make Isaac bottom tier. Usually, bottom-tier characters have been slow(Bowser) or awkward(Mewtwo), or something along those lines. Isaac will probably be medium speed to fast, and unless his Up-B is something really weird like Ness or Jigglypuff, or he hovers like Mewtwo(doubtful), he should be at least middle tier.

Besides, most of his Smash attacks and aerials will probably use the sword. I'd rather they used Psynergy, like Snake's use explosives, but for convenience's sake they'll use the sword. If Isaac has a tipper like Marth, that'd just make it all the better.

Isaac shouldn't have a tipper......Marth and Roy had sweetspots because of the critical hit thing in the FE games (I think...thats the only logical explanation I can come up with...)

He can be anywhere from the best to the worst, but I'll still co-main him. I do hope he's above-average, at least.

there are critical hits in every RPG...

but it really doesnt seem logical to give Isaac a tipper...we might as well give Link a tipper then...

Marth has his tipper
Link has his projectiles
Isaac would have his psynergy...

I was just saying it was a possibility. Of course Psynergy would be the primary means of attacking, but I just don't know how many moves outside of his B moves and FS will revolve around it.

And I'm not really sure how a tipper is "logical" for anybody. They just decided to do it for no apparent reason, but I'd rather they just make his sword equally strong at every part, like Link's.

Felix alternative colours. Still not as good as one I once saw, but meh...

Pixel by pixel selection in Gimp. Felix reference used.

Great picture.

It's Isaac's turn to play in the character battle thingy. :)

Was that troll on the last few pages for real? Because if he's played Golden Sun like he says he has, then he must know what Isaac does to Trolls. :)

The recolouring is good. I think we're likely to see a costume recolour like that.

Maybe one for Ivan and Saturos, too. :)

Other then that, we'll get the basic red/blue/green standards.

But then he'd have brown eyes. :p

Think about it, there will be at least six costumes in this game per character.

Isaac's normal costume relates to no color, so they need to add a blue, green, and red one.

That's four, two more to go.

That Felix costume can take up slot five, and I don't know... Something else can take up slot six.

By the way, has anyone seen a Kirby hat for Isaac? I sure haven't... :(

BTW since there are a lot of psynergy/weapon release attacks in Golden Sun that could be in Isaacs moveset: What are your top three choices for attacks that you think must be in his moveset?
Id go with
Odyssey
Grand Gaia
Titan Blade

Isn't it a bit overkill, giving all his moves as Ragnarok and Megiddo and whatnot? I imagine they'll give him some of his lower level Earth moves and put one of those as a final smash. I think Ragnarok will honestly be the final if he gets in. Just the sight of that huge flaming sword crashing into the stage and blasting fireballs amok would be too epic for a normal special. Odyssey was more powerful, but just not quite as awe-inducing.

This is a bit of a conjecture, but every psychic character so far has had the loop jump, Ness, Lucas, and Mewtwo. I think it would be interesting and probable for Isaac to have it also. This would make him a very unusual character to control being a swordsman, but the strategy possibilities would be vast and unique.

...Was that complementing Isaac? Or something else?

Most of us agree here that Judgment would be Isaac's best final smash because it would not only represent him, but the whole Golden Sun universe and battle system. Judgment would be a lot more epic than any giant sword striking the ground... Though I agree with you in that sense, Ragnarok or Odyssey don't look like moves Isaac could use well... I mean, how would the physics work? Would the swords be small? Would they appear from the exact top of the screen and run diagonally bottom? I just can't see those two as moves.

I don't think the guy can be taken seriously. He was banned. lol.

We will see in a few weeks rather Isaac made it or not. I sure hope he did.

and I really need to work on that topic. I'm such a horrible procrastinator aren't I?:ohwell:

Bah, don't worry about it. If you aren't getting payed for it, then there's no reason to rush. :), besides, I'm sure you are doing a wonderful job on it.

Yeah, but many other people were banned as well, as to why, I still do not know.

The suspense of waiting is killing me though, I wish I knew...

Nor would I, but I'm sure Sakurai can fit in both, to please both fans (sort of...), I'm sure he'd know Isaac and Felix are closely alike.

I have never played Golden Sun, and no nothing of the series.. but from his design, and all the stuff you guys are talking about I really hope Isaac gets in, he seems like he would be really fun to control.

The only reason I don't think Isaac will be outfitted with Judgment for a Final Smash is that while a glorious coup-de-gras for a turn based RPG setting, it's missing the hard, directed feel that other characters have. With the exception of Peach for obvious reasons, the smashes all seem to have that sense of explosive, direct impact. Judgment itself is, while glorious and powerful, a very passive move where a giant wave of blue energy engulfs everything around it and severely damages. I admit, it would look cool, but is it fit for Smash Bros? I just don't see it.

The reason I think of Ragnarok is because it is the Venus element staple high power psynergy, before getting into all the costly epic moves of higher levels and djinn summons. Instead of being cinematic like most major moves, it is actually a very directed, very powerful and explosive move. (See it at 1:07 http://youtube.com/watch?v=tasvj0mPoP0 ) It's proportion in size is colossal compared to Isaac, its motion swift, its range finite, and its impact high. This move was Isaac (and if I recall, Felix's) mainstay power move for large portions of both games when in combat, and is easily recognizable. I see it more representative of a fair final smash for Isaac than Judgment, but who knows?
