Haha, right? I just find all 8 of the best weapons for each character in Dark Dawn (and in GS & TLA) just to give more variety in all their attacks.

That new AT is a villain in the Kirby games...Villain reveal trailer confirmed. Lol! Who knows?

sakurai said in the april direct that he wanted to put in as many as possible. so i don't think we've seen them all or close to the end of them all. also, i don't think isaac will be an assist trophy again. he is demanded enough by fans to have a chance of being playable. his moveset would be so diverse, especially when you take into account customizable moves. he would definitely bring something new to the table.

You know, right there what you said makes me think that Sakurai is saving to reveal Isaac for last in that sense. Since a golden sun is usually shown to appear in the mourning, the final reveal trailer could be just that, the GoldenSun rises again after years later or something to that extent.

Actually, my hope for Isaac randomly increased a while ago.

I have no idea why.

Funnily enough, so did mine. I was always rooting for Isaac since Smash 4 was announced, watching each reveal hoping its Isaac. So far no news, but I just feel he will be there so my hope has increased. I need to use psynergy in Smash!

The only thing that Isaac has going for him, is that he wasn't shown in the April Smash Direct during the AT section... Yeah, not a whole lot. Oh boy, was anybody else here worried as F*CK when that AT section came up during the direct? xD

I like the fact that this thread acts like a beacon of hope where we hype up ourselves by reading/posting (I read every day, count on it ) and supporting each other when the "cyclic letdowns" happen ('why are there no evidence whatsoever', blah blah blah, we all went through there at least once)

Sakurai looks for a few things before adding character into Smash, though I forgot a few of them but these are the one that come to mind

Unique Move sets, no clone like character.
Comes from a very popular game
The moves are not too gimicky

Isaac has all of these, His move set is extreeemely wide, a very popular character from a very popular series and his moves are not gimmicky!

I remember hearing that a few years back, someone went up to Sakurai and asked if he would be adding Megaman, Isaac and Geno as playable characters. Sakurai replied, "2 of the 3". Now, I don't know if this was true or not, but so far, Megaman is in and Geno's chances of getting in are very slim because he belongs to Square and is 3rd party. Though he could be a trophy like Rayman. Isaac has a better chance for many reasons. So, if it is true, then, Isaac is playable. Of course, we shouldn't go by that. Just hope he gets in.

This reminds me back when I was hoping Sonic would be playable in Brawl. When Oct 10, 2007 came and revealed him, I was so happy and excited that I was like, "I don't care what the roster looks like anymore, Sonic is in and now I'll be buying Brawl for sure."
Now, I am hoping that situation happens once again when Isaac is announced as playable. It will be an awesome day!

Actually, "mourning" for me didn't register incorrect in the auto-correct so I didn't notice that's how I spelt it. Interesting that you saw that though. It does work either way. Haha!

Currently we're at 30 assist trophies to Brawl's 27. In Brawl, only 6 were unlockable. I personally don't expect more than 12 more assist trophies in this game.

Nope, I really just randomly woke up one day last week and decided he'd be a really awesome addition. Don't regret it though.

Actually, it was the opposite for me. I always had a hope that the leaker mixed up Chrom and Robin (protagonist of FE:A).

You know, the thing that made me lost my hope, is that there is NOTHING that leads to the inclusion of Isaac in SSB4.

• The supporters of K. Rool have the smash run ennemy
• The supporters of Rythm Heaven have an enemy too + leak
  
• The supporters of Shulk have the leak + Sakurai's tweet
• The supporters of Ridley have the boss thing

But what do we have, us, supporters of Isaac ? Nothing...

• The Kremlings are likely to represent Donkey Kong as a whole. After all, the Tiki Buzzes are also in the game.
• Yeah, but the Gematsu leak had a wrench thrown into it when Chrom was presented as not only having been beaten up by Captain Falcon, but is Robin's Final Smash.
• Yeah, but that tweet hasn't gone anywhere.
• This one amazes me the most, as Sakurai has used a lot of these to deconfirm characters. I feel so bad for the Ridley fans; this is why he has kept mum on Pyrosphere.

Frankly, I think it's better we haven't had anything from Golden Sun. Olimar was the last character revealed for Brawl, and we had seen NOTHING from Pikmin in that game until then. So, who knows? This might be for the best, especially as it seems that Sakurai has found people other than Isaac who would make great ATs and allow him to become playable.

Haha! The game is epic! Finish it! Just beat Golden Sun again for the umpteenth time now moving onto Golden Sun 2. Amazing series. Even Dark Dawn is fine and a great JRPG on its own, just pale in comparison to 1 and 2.

Yea it is not bad that nothing from Golden Sun has not been revealed. Who knows, it might get a trailer of its own at the end with all the reveals in one bunch. I would love it and it would be a love letter from Nintendo to all Golden Sun fans. Atleast he hasn't quashed our hope's yet by putting him as an AT like what happened to Takamaru supporters, Chrom supporters and some other people.

I think you are right that he has found other people more appropriate to be assist trophies and chosen Isaac to be at the helm of the revival of Golden Sun. It is time to dispel the "mo(u)rning" and let the Sun rise again!

I thought it deconfirmed Snake because there was no Konami, but somebody pointed out that you only have to give copyright for the artwork used, e.g. the Pokemon, Sonic, Pac-Man, etc. Don't forget that Rayman is a trophy and there is no Ubisoft credited as well.

Copyrights are only there for the characters being shown on the packaging

They only credit the characters that appeared in the boxart, and Isaac did not appear in the boxart simply. It doesn't drop his chances at all.

Man, this is so nerve wreaking. Like some of you have said, it's like a Dark Dawn is upon us the closer we get to the Japanese release of the 3DS version. If anything, Sakurai is making Isaac's reveal symbolic to the GoldenSun series and when we think Isaac won't make it in, the GoldenSun rises on our hero as the final newcomer to Stand His Ground. I hope that is the case.
