Hey guys, a leak surfaced recently that says Isaac is one of the unrevealed newcomers coming in the next smash. Almost always I just assume it's fake but there's a couple things in this particular leak I found interesting.
It is pretty interesting indeed. Aside from the fact that it includes more newcomers than I would expect, they seem to be reasonable choices. It has the "retro" character, a known franchise newcomer and a clone, it doesn't seem TOO far fetched.
I guess we'll see, we should have some evidence to know which leaks are real (if any) in the coming weeks. Or if that Smash Direct comes...

I don't believe in leaks, but your grounds for turning them down does not really at all fall-in-line with a lot of the roster additions we get. If you asked me in 2011 if Smash 4 would have either Mach Rider or Wii Fit Trainer, I would have said Mach Rider any day of the week.
What, with the way the character got an amazingly detailed trophy in Melee and a song, an impressive feat back in the days before My Music.
I really doubt we're getting five newcomers this late. Also, people would EXPLODE if there was another Captain Falcon clone that was totally unrelated to Falcon.
Boss Mode is pretty ridiculous, to be honest. Take the one boss we know so far. Yellow Devil. No chance at playability. He's slow, he's boring, he's predictable, and he can't even attack entire portions of the stage.
Most of Brawl's bosses aren't much better. I honestly don't see a mode like that coming in.
That said, the "leak" spoiler is completely empty for me, so I have no idea what the leak actually states.
Also, I now really want to see Blaziken doing a "Chicken PUNCH".
I actually like the idea of Blaziken as a Captain Falcon clone. It fits. Fire birdy, stylish, powerful moves, fast movement. It really works. He wouldn't be nearly as slow as Ganondorf (thank goodness), but hopefully it would let Ganondorf get his own moveset.
I really, really don't see a playable boss mode, though.

Now I want this leak to be true!!! Mach Rider obviously would be a better fit than Wii Fit trainer. I mean who asked for her anyway? Villager there were demands I understand.
But since this is an Isaac thread, and I am a Golden Sun fan I would want Isaac the most. Isaac for Smash 4! Heed his fans Nintendo and announce him as playable already!
I'm almost certain that we're the ones who are more in the dark about their chances from among the main supporter threads. We literally have nothing in the way of knowing if Isaac will be in or not, only hoping that the next POTD, scan or leak doesn't deconfirm him.

*Sigh*
Apparently it is.
And now that I think about it, it would be pretty weird to have Yveltal as a boss and Xerneas as a mere pokeball. But who knows.
Haha yea. Ironically, it is the Golden Sun fans who are in the darkest regarding inclusion of Isaac in the game whereas the game itself represents "Sun rise". Who knows, Sakurai trolling us again.
Well Yveltal is the death Pokemon so.... why not? He is a lot worse than Xerneas if you look at it on a morality scale.

It's just as I said before, Sakurai is using some kind of symbolism with GoldenSun to really represent and show off Isaac. If it's true, that would be awesome and that he actually cares for the series.

Just saw that image and that prediction "leak style" looks really believable. None of the characters stand out as being impossible or tough to consider or anything. Plus the picture is made nicely :D
Me likey! I would like a final roster like it. It contains Isaac as well as other newcomers to satisfy other fans, such as Shulk and Dixie Kong. Plus Ice Climbers, Robot and Game & Watch are returning in this prediction. Thanks for showing us this!
There's always the possibility that there's multiple Sol Blades in the world; you can get multiples of other weapons, so it's not out of the question.
The games have a password system. I actually used a password from the VC Golden Sun to transfer my party to my Lost Age GBA cartridge. It was pretty trippy.
Well it's like, I'm transferring my team across two generations of gaming... in reverse. I'm transporting my team from a game I just got to a game I've had since I was a kid!
I think it's just Yveltal spelled out phonetically in Japanese

Quite indeed, but beware the length, it's like a bizallion characters long.
When you finish the first game you're given a password you can enter when you begin the second one to carry over your stuff.
You can also do the same job using two GBA's and a link cable.

> Mach Rider
> Shuruku (Shulk)
> Robin (Isaac)
> Dixie Kong
> Bashamo (Blaziken) (Captain Falcon clone)
> Only stage of rhythm heaven
> Wii U New mode: "boss battles", 4v1 game play, boss player uses the Wii U game pad
> These are a few bosses which are in this mode -
> Master Hand
> Iberutaru
> Ridley
> Black Face
Sorry if this has already been debunked or whatever. Also I assume it didn't originate on 4chan.
Anyways, most fake leaks I come across rarely ever include Isaac (Robin) and this is the first one that that describes a new mode where you play as bosses. I had previously never considered a boss mode, but thinking about it it makes a lot of sense. I want Ridley to be playable, and Sakurai seems to be teasing him for so long now but I just can't really imagine him being executed properly. But this boss mode might be the alternative Sakurai was looking for. A way to include Ridley that properly represents Ridley (even if it's not ideal for a lot of people).
I'm hoping that this leak turns out to be real, even if it means K.Rool / Mewtwo / Ridley aren't added to the cast.
I really hope I didn't come late to the party on this "leak".
Yeah, I don't think that is real, we have Charizard, so i'm not sure about another fire Pokemon, but you know sakurai always seems to surprise us... Mach Rider seems, rather weird don't you think, and sakurai said he is cutting down in clones, I doubt Blaziken would even be a clone if he was playable =/...

Don't worry it will work. I think I read somewhere that the only way to transfer data from GS to GS: TLA on the virtual console releases is the password system since they haven't incorporated any link cable emulation. The passwords are riduclously long but totally worth it. Your characters come with the same stats, all djinn, all items and all gold + all the sidequests you completed (their bonus results in TLA). Too bad everything is jumbled though.
That is why I love link cable to transfer data from GS to GS: TLA, super easy + no jumbling of items

Back in the day, I absolutely hated the password system, but at the same time was grateful for it. Since I had no friends, I kept thinking, "how the hell am I going to transfer everything?" And since there was no way in hell I was buying another Gameboy Advance, I was pretty much screwed in that matter. Even though writing the password was incredibly tedious, it kind of gave me greater respect for the developers because they actually took into consideration those whom would not have it easy finding someone to help transfer your data.
Oh, and I just thought of something... I hear lots of people say that they would like Isaac's side special move to be Ragnarok, but I personally thought it would be better off as Isaac's forward smash. However, a thought recently occurred to me... What if Isaac's side special was a chargeable move, in which it would start off with Ragnarok, but if you charged long enough, Isaac would use Odyssey? That would be a good way to incorporate both moves whilst saving space on the moveset. I recently threw together this basic moveset, using other peoples' ideas as well as mine own:

Than what would the specials be? I'm actually genuinely curious. Weapon unleashes? Except Meggido. That's his final smash.
So, the Mountain Roc in Dark Dawn. Isn't it supposed to be hard? Because I just beat in in about 1 1/2 turns.
Of course, I also put all my Djinn on standby and had Karis summon Thor twice..

What, you mean the latest fake roster that doesn't even match up to past snapshots we've seen? Seriously? Several of the renders on there are totally reused as well, such as Dr. Mario's, plus the layout itself is so weird even if it WAS real, it'd imply its not the final roster.

Honestly, even with this, I still believe the Gematsu leak. The Chorus Men might have been planned, but were cut for the same reason the Ice Climbers were.

Looking at the pic, at first, it did look legit, but I feel like there is something wrong with it. Besides, It looks like you could still fit 5 more characters if it was real.
Until Sakurai confirms it, there is still hope for Isaac.
It looks like that picture of Wario was ripped from either the Brawl trailer or one of the SSE custcenes. Also, the Falco picture looks like it was ripped from a Brawl screenshot of him using his side special. Also, why aren't the characters' names displayed at the bottom of their portraits, like they were in the demo? Furthermore, why isn't Lucina closer to the other Fire Emblem characters, and Dark Pit not closer to Pit and Palutena? Given how meticulous Sakurai has constantly proven himself to be, I find this roster implausible.
Until it's confirmed genuine, I am calling shenanigans.

The clones being separate could be argued, but other clones are by their own franchises. And even then, clones have never been added so far away from their own franchises in the past. Doesn't make all that much sense overall.
