Is this chainthrow % + DI information anywhere?

Have chainthrow/chaingrab details such as DI and damage been documented for every character? (or at least high tiers)

I'm most interested in the effects of different directional influence and from when the chainthrow works and fails.

Although this data for Fox is incomplete, I'm looking for data like this:

I think Magus made ones for Doc and Ganon

I think there's a lot of information available on ICs CGs but I'm not sure which ones have data on percent ranges

Otherwise I don't think they exist

Yes there should be on these boards somewhere, since if I recall correcly DI information on throws and stuff were common knowledge or written down pre 06. No idea which kind of threads (maybe old guides +more) has that kind of information but I know that it has been here somewere. Would be nice if someone could link to some of those (really)old threads to refresh memory on some stuff. There were even good edgeguard guides where the information on each direction was presented with different options that works all the time but has been forgotten.

Magus has a .txt/post with Peach's CG's on FFers, I'll look for it.

If you're interested in Directional Influence, it can change the trajectory of an attack by +18 degrees from its original trajectory, if you're using perpendicular DI. In some cases you can't get that much due to the way notches work on the control stick, however. You can use MasterHand to find the original trajectory of a hitbox/throw.

Do keep in mind that many vertical CGs actually last longer if they're DI'd horizontally, and that DIing horizontally is better for lower %s in the CG because of the frames required to catch up (Dash+JC Grab), and that no DI is better at higher %'s because of having to wait for them to fall within grab range (and so being able to get out of hitstun).

Another thing to keep in mind that I think Magus might mention is that throw release point for ground-bounce throws like Shiek's Dthrow, Ganon's Dthrow, Doc's Dthrow, etc. for whatever reason changes slightly based on port priority and so can change CG percents by a % or two. Really stupid lol.

This thread has some information about throw release frames and endlag and such, which could aid you in your efforts.

I would like sheik's and fox's exact CG data. It's not so much the raw data itself as finding a guaranteed permutation of the CG to get the highest damage possible.

Wait what? This is the first I've ever heard of this.

Mind linking to where he said this?

I would like data on ICs' d-throw CG vs Sheik and Ganon

Sheik's d-throw CG vs Pikachu, YL, and Ganon

If the information on Fox's CG up there is accurate then awesome otherwise I would like it

It is not yet accurate.
I will complete this when I get some free time. If anyone wants a non-high-tier (below Popo) character done then now is the time to post.

Different DI on Falcon's Up-throw:

DK vs. Fox/Falco would be lovely.
Did you see my post about optimal DI?

Im not complaining because it's always a joy to read his posts, Im just wondering how he has accumulated so much knowledge haha

Because he's the hero Smashboards deserves, but not the one it needs right now...and so we'll ask him, because he can answer. Because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector...a dark knight.

The table will show all major DI, not just the best type.
In a similar way to this picture of the major DI on Fox's Up-smash: (the numbers represent the number of frames until verticle death, compared to no DI, in this given situation)

this is extremely inaccurate btw lol. (fox's data)
It is not yet accurate.
I will complete this when I get some free time.
Read the thread.
