I wasn't going to be able to make it if it was the 13th so I'm happy it's cancelled and moved to like a week-3 later.

I'm so sad that I can only barely remember this. All I can say is that I really enjoy playing people who beat me. Maybe it's masochistic but if I got someone who doesn't get bored winning 9/10 matches I'm happy to fight uphill battles :D
It's great to think that you learned the match up from it too.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I have to work like 7 a.m.-noon on Saturday so I can't go to MIST. First Saturday I've had to work since like November, lol. so I think we're gonna have games here. BBQ, ragefest.

I ended up in in Omaha on Sunday while driving from Iowa to SD... missed my detour and decided to drive around.. I also went though Des Moines.
I think I wanna find a new job and move to Omaha at the end of the year.

that means I will have NO excuse not to come to Omaha at least once. In all honestly, if you Omaha guys can have a get together on a Sunday or hell even during the week, Mara and I would show up.
@Joker: If you don't mind, Me, Mara, and I think Brandon and Dustin will show up today. 4-5 ish I'm gonna bring my screw drivers so I can swap out your DVD burner. Plus, I'll use Greg's tri-wing to fix a couple of controllers. Play a bit then get out of your hair

Which Saturday the one coming up cause some of us are going to be around for a Marvel/SSF4 tourney but it's on Friday don't know if Ngamer will want to stick around.

Some guy named Justin, I'm like 80%-90% sure that Joker might know him or his friend who he went with, Jordan. I was playing casuals with Joker between matches, and Justin was talking to someone, it went something like this. (I can't seem to remember who he was talking to, not to mention he was behind me and I did not make eye contact the entire time this went on. This shows two things. 1. My love for Marvel 3 and how fun it is. 2. How much respect I have for people like him.)
Justin: Did you watch EVO Man?
Other guy: Yeah I saw some of it, it was really good.
Justin: Did you watch SF4 finals?
Other guy: Yeah, I can't believe Daigo didn't win it.
Justin: I'm glad that Fuudo guy won, I really didn't want that douche Latif to win. All he did was do burn kick over and over again with Viper. It's such a scrubby tactic, I mean who uses nothing but the same move over and over to win? Latif didn't even deserve to get that far. Burn kick, burn kick, burn kick, that's such a repetitive strategy. That guy was like the scrubbiest douchebag I've ever seen.
After he said that while still playing Joker I just started to raise my voice and interrupt what he was in the middle of saying. (I think this would've been the first time you would have seen me even somewhat angry.)
I basically ended up explaining to him all of the different options you can do with burn kick and that that's not all Viper does. Then he's just like "So? Learning how to do one move over and over doesn't even equal the skill it takes to do a combo right every time." Then I went on about how technical Viper is and how hard she is to play at a high level. I can't remember what all I said there, but after I stopped talking he shut up and then Joker and I did a few more matches. After those matches, Curtis (who wasn't in the room during any of that.) walked up and asked if he could jump in.
I think some of that is scrubquotes worthy.
