Both me and Jay can supply cars to Sherman's this weekend. If there would be only one car going, I believe it would be full at this point. If anyone else wants to go, speak up so we can get logistics figured out.

Tentative plan is to meet at Joker's and leave by 10:45 so we can get there by 1.

FYI: Chloe has locked up the IC venue for our circuit event, but because of the arbitrary nature of how the date was chosen, good luck to all that go and deal with the circus that is pre-game tailgaiting to Iowa home football events. Not to mention it will be the biggest game of the season.

Nope, it's Iowa vs Ohio State. I tried to get it a week before, but the venue would be being used for a class. Enjoy the biggest game in Iowa Football, ESPN will probably be there too (the Hawkeyes look good this year). I think it's a night game though so we should be fine for the most part.

Have fun this weekend everyone, sorry I couldn't go! I'll be making the tournament thread this evening.

2 years ago Ngamer and I played 2 ranked wifi matches on Smash Board Rankings. He proceeded to beat my MK twice and made me john pretty hard. Little did I know 2 years down the road we would be teaming at every smash tournament. This revelation was made on the ride home for Sherman's.

I only have one converter. But I can play on my 360 controller since I don't use the Dpad anyway, or someone else can bring a converter as well. I don't even have a first party PS controller anymore so I've been playing on some crusty one.

Yulai is looking into places to stay for us. Getting a motel shouldn't be too hard hopefully, though finding one decently close might be. I don't know the area around where the con is being held though so I dunno.
