Rules for Starcraft:
- Stage is always, 8 Player FASTEST Map XDXDXD.
- Everyone must go random.
- Allying is allowed.
- If someone is about to get killed, all other players MUST bumrush the attacking player to death.
- No nerds allowed.

I'm totally down for Fastest maps haha. That's actually the only map I used to play. Normal maps feel to weird and slow for me now. Might actually be a decent idea if we don't want SC to take decades though.

Like even when I used to play melee like 6 years ago for random funsies we never turned items on because they were so annoying.
I beat Matt in Pokeballs only last time at Joker's though.

If you guys are worried about sc taking long but love sc like I do then lets just best of 1 game on the map Python till finals.

Say 8 people enter and the average game takes 30 mins (thats way longer than the actual average [which is 12.5 minutes]). That means ro8 takes 30, ro4 takes 30, then its just placement.

I see a tourny like that taking 3 hours tops for 8 people.

A tournament like that can work around the other events of course.




I love sc, Brawl has always been my secondary game but it has more of a real scene at the local level. I would absolutely love to play some face to face for even a minor stake.


Ill see about bringing one setup at least for brawl. I *will* bring a mobile sc setup.

LT aint really a "balanced" map. I prefer a more standard map such as Fighting Spirit, Medusa, Python, Destination... anything from the current pro scene.

If your legit non money maps is the iCCup map list then ya, like 95% of that is fine!

LT turns terran into a semi-meta knight.

Id rather play the most played map of all time, python. It has like a perfectly balanced win rate in every matchup.

Plus its really just a modified lost temple idea (if you stare at the two maps you see it ; thats what the designers stated).

thats python, notice the better chokes and lack of cliffs that tanks can **** from.

The other big difference is islands are in the top right / bot left instead of other way around.

Its a "super-dooper" map.

Because Jeadong and Boxer are coming to jokers. Chances are it isnt going to be a korean pro gamer that wins anything sc related in iowa anytime soon.

Its more about the fact that there is a chance to play some other players from the iowa-ish area face to face for small stakes.
