I'm not banning ICs in low tier doubles since they got placed 2nd to last on the doubles tier list. Also, low tier payouts are probably going to stay as is, especially for doubles, due to the low amount of money to win and the turnout won't be huge for those events.

I don't see why people are so willing to throw $5 or $10 down on experiments and garbage like Brawl+ and Brawl- but not a low tier tournament where a character that is considered trash in doubles to the point where it got put at 2nd worst on a doubles tier list made by good players is legal. Worst thing that happens is IC teams, that have extremely good IC users on them, do well, and we know ICs are THAT bad in doubles.

Brawl- is fun because it's so dumb.

PM is fun if you don't think it's like melee.

Low tiers is fun when the characters allowed are ACTUALLY low tier...lol

I'm surprised nobody said Jiggs is a counter to ICs in doubles. I mean, its easy enough already for jiggs to get nana seperated in low tier doubles. Its harder for Popo to save nana now because 1 person will be killing her and the other is stopping popo from saving her. I mean serioulsy, IC's are only really good when their chaingthrowing you, the other half of the time that they're not their getting their ***** handed to them. Since its doubles its going to be really hard chainthrowing people and most of the time your going to be gimped alot.

Seems fine to me.

Also, Low tier doubles actually lets the other characters have a chance at playing w/o having to hack them and what not. I've never been one to like seeing the same characters fight over and over again in the finals.

Also low tiers are good for the metagame. Not to mention it gives you a reason to play against these characters so that you don't end up like DSF losing to a Sonic and a Yoshi in a major tournament.

Matter of opinion. I don't have fun in hacked games, but have fun in low tiers.

Fair response, but understand that most people don't share this sentiment. I prefer Brawl- over low tiers, because most people just hardcore camp in low-tiers cause they don't understand any of the MUs, and it's boring. I also like exercising my low tier vs. high tier characters, and don't really like the MUs within low tier. Sonic, Yoshi, and Ness were already boring to fight without good characters, and it takes forever to break their walls with Mario.

Also, DSF is retired, and had not played seriously for nearly 5-6 months. Coupled with lack of MU experience, any one could've guessed he'd lose to decent players, regardless of their character.
