the hours seem good, but the driving in that late then driving back when where all done is not worth the time. also each drive will take at least an hour to get to glicks if theres no trraffic. its not the same as chilling on public trans. also i doubt your trip takes an hour.
Umm it actually does take an hour to get to Glick's and I usually end up leaving that late. I'm used to it though, one hour of transportation is normal for me since that's how long it takes for me to get to work. 5 hours of smash is worth it imo since you barely play but alright.. your choice. :ohwell:

ok well u can at least chill on the train, i gotta concentrate on driving, and driving by myself for that amount of time is kinda straining : / plus i gotta do it again later. plus is raining mad heavy, adding to more bad driving conditions to the city.

Khanti why don't you just take the train?
An hour isn't that bad for a train ride. That's how long it takes to get to the city from here(45 sometimes depending on where in the city and what train)
Driving to the station and then taking it from there wouldn't be that long at all.

It's cool shin. next time

Smashfest was pretty chill. Got mad training in.

I think I'm gonna continue my recent trend of learning more characters. Today's fest fully convinced me that using many characters can only help you progress in terms of overall skill (I kinda always thought it was the opposite).

Shooting for about 8 steady characters total.

As long as ivy is your best!!! lol

But really i think playing too many chars deters from being good with one playstyle. But i guess if u can commit to learning many chars then it would benefit u. I have 3 brawl+ chars i think are tourney level(peach, zss zard) I play other chars like ivy,ic's,and bowser but i wouldn't think about using them in tournament.

Arrg i wish people around me liked brawl+ lol

Most of us have the money so I think we should start making all the necessary reservations for SNES before it's too late. I'll try to get everyone in an AIM chat later tonight so we can actually make this concrete because before you know it we'll be screwed with all that stuff. So yeah please everyone be on AIM tonight if you can..

I love how on sunday everyone was like Oh yeah. Lets play this game where we all pick up random characters that make glick want to pour bags of salt on skinless babies.

Complete shenanigans.

Doing an overnight shift tonight... I can be on AIM tomorrow night though, if you want to do an online crew meeting.

We really do need to get that reservation going, plan the trip to and from there, etc.

I personally think my Ivy is the least effective of my 3 pokemon. :dizzy:

I doubt that the additional characters I pick up will be tournament-ready (nor do I intend for them to ever reach that level). I want to pick them up for the reason that I actually think the experience gained from using them will just benefit me as a player, which in turn will make me more efficient with my tournament mains.

Lucas vs Jiggs hurrayyyy!

glick upload those matches so I can crush gurus fan's spirits lmao
Nooooooooo my fans... But yeah, your TL is pretty beast. And Corneria was being racist that game...

I updated the first post everyone. I'm gonna start making highlights of certain moments from the stream because there are definitely some crazy funny moments there. Let me know if you remember any funny moments from the stream that should be up there. Look at the D1 commentary everyone, sh*t is still TOO GOOD!!!

I feel weird about putting it on the front page but I guess since it features Guru lol why not.

take diddy off my just for fun secton.
Doneskies. It seems you guys are gonna be changing these every other smashfest? Pick a character and stick with them man. If you're in the experimenting stage with the char don't ask me to put it under "for fun" and then suddenly in a week (like Skip) you never play the char anymore. Not referring to you shin, just a few others .... *glares at Guru's Wolf*

I used Wolf a good amount at Glick's fest, Silven. The only time I didn't use Wolf was at your last fest, and that was because I shifted my focus toward Lucas.

Just a reminder, we really should get that crew meet in sometime soon.

Things are sorta looking up.

Hooray, I'm getting my driver's permit sometime next week or the week after next . Shortly after that, I get a new car (Though I don't know which one I want yet). Now I can get to Silven's with little fuss .

I wish I could come today. my mother told me I cant unless she drives me. Which is way random cause she let me go last time.

I guess she doesn't want me to come home late on the train.

I suggest you guys just play and stop holding tallies on who wins the most. That's one of the things that piss me off the most when I'm trying to play and I win a match and someone goes "oh that's the first one you won out of like X amount of matches" So who the f*ck cares? Aren't we all just playing to get better...? Stop this competing **** and just play.. truthfully all of us sandbag at different points...we pretty much know each other well enough to know when we're sandbagging to there's no point in keeping tabs on who won what. At the end of the day it accomplishes nothing and just helps to kill the mood. This is one of the main reasons I get annoyed when playing sometimes because you guys like to hold wins over people's heads when the other person might not be playing all that seriously. Stop this bragging rights BS already and just play to get better as a crew instead of this "my *insert char here* is better than your *insert char here*". **** is stupid....

*sigh* This is why I have no faith in people anymore, why does everyone have trouble reading...

Skip for one it wasn't directed at you personally, not at anyone really. Just something to keep in mind since it's annoying to see stuff like that. Oh and stop throwing the whole negative nancy thing around...frankly it becomes quite annoying. It's becoming as baseless as the whole "depth" thing that consumed the backroom for a week or two. At least try to think of something new..

Also, I find it ironic that you can say it's a joke because I saw the way you got when Guru won the match on Cornera. Yeah it's a joke but why did you start johning when you lost? Hmm and you also felt the need to post about it and bring it up AGAIN after all is said and done. But it's just a joke right...? If it wasn't that important there obviously wasn't a need to keep it going.

-Blackanese...I've learned to not expect much in the form of thoughtful words from you anyway...your response just barely passed my expectations. Congrats I guess...

Whatever man, forget about trying to talk about anything seriously on here since of course I'll get troll comments. Just nevermind.

Anyway Glick are you having a fest on Sunday? Khanti said he's available.

Also if you're interested here's the recording of crap from the smashfest..since it failed and nothing really amazing happened I'm gonna delete it soon (I don't think it deserves any place in the archives) so see it while you can I guess.
