Starting Monday my life is going back to super hectic have no free time school all dai work all night BS so Smashfests will be EXTREMELY rare. I will be able to go to tournaments and stuff if I request the day off but days like Friday, Sunday and Monday are very questionable. I'd say the best day is Sunday but I don't know yet.

Nobody's stopping you from having a fest Monday....I just said most likely I won't be able to attend due to the aforementioned. If everyone else can attend a Monday fest then why not have it?

Well I have a temp job at the bookstore at college so my schedule for the next few weeks will be crazy but once my temp job is over I'm free Mon and Tues and maybe wed after 2pm and thurs after 12:30 pm but Fridays are out of the question for me because I have class at 8:30am-1:30pm and class at 6pm-8:30pm so maybe next month I can show up to the Smashfests wherever they will be either at silvens or Gurus place does not matter.

There's usually parking spaces in most residential areas in NYC...unless it's Manhattan

Anyway I'm considering going to Hackfest....just gotta see how money works out come September. Biggest problem is going to tournies, allocating money for a certain amount and then you look at your purchases and you see that you spent twice as much as you were supposed to spend. *_*. I can't be doing that anymore...

Best way to plan is via AIM. Whenever you see that we're having a smashfest you should just IM whoever is hosting so that way you can get the word immediately instead of posting and waiting for a response(unless of course you like that sorta thing). I can't see myself having many smashfests due to my ******** schedule but if I do I will definitely let you know.

I'm fairly confident that if our crew can form at least two teams for this, both teams would place within top 3, so consider it an investment (doubles is 10 ducks this time, not 5 like how it was at BtL).

We can also easily snatch top placings in singles.

Seems like Brawl+ is getting more attention..but then again it's a huge hybrid so most likely it will be similar to Game Unicon which was somewhat of a letdown.

I think Hackfest is my best bet...if I'm gonna go to any tourney within such a small timeframe it'll probably be that. I don't wanna travel out of state again if there's 100+ people in everything else and like 20 people in Brawl+

And Khanti get at your Paypal account. I probably won't be having a fest for a good while so I doubt I'll be able to give you in person anytime soon unless you're willing to wait..


edit- And OH look! The Brawl+ is on a Friday again..the day where the least amount of attendance is expected.....sounds like it's gonna be pretty epic *_* If only it were Saturday..but of course that's reserved for SF4 and Brawl. Ah well....I still might go though just because it's in New Jersey which is like a few bucks via public transportation.

They put $2000 in Brawl singles and Melee singles

the pots are much larger then they would have been if they had simply used 100% of the pot


they lost money on this, because they started the pots at $2000

the pots were HUGE for the size of the singles tourneys


I'll admit, im annoyed by reading that people are upset about the 25t% being taken out
I guess it sucks for teams, but all this info was posted on their website prior to the event
